An intense binge that hits your ears.
Accompanied by violent shaking of the ground.
Ignoring the noise around her, Catherine Goldberg was still unconscious in a fainted state as she was some time. However, in her dreamy world far from reality, Catherine repeated the warm memories and sensation of being embraced by someone before falling.
Broad shoulders and firm arm strength. And the warmth she felt inside. The sensation of that sweet dream made Catherine feel like she had never felt before. And there was a voice calling her gently.
"... Cathe...rine..."
The voice of a man interrupting a happy dream.
Gradually, the boundary between reality and dreams was disappearing due to uninvited visitors.
And Catherine Goldberg soon awoke from a deep sleep, began to open her eyes gently.
"Ugh... yes....?"
She gently lifted her eyelids, and it was Lacqurez who entered her eye. He was examining her physical condition with a worried face and a concerned voice came out from him.
"Catherine! Are you okay?"
Catherine didn't answer but moved her heavy head carefully to look around.
And what caught her eye was none other than the dying corpse of Griffin. Griffin, who had threatened her until now, was vanishing with a white light.
Catherine then turned her head towards Jade's face as she looked down at her again.
"You... It was... You...."
"Huh?"
With that, Catherine put her arm around Lacqurez's neck and hugged him.
A griffin is although a powerful boss, one thing he's obsessed with is collecting treasures.
'Well, almost every [Boss Monster]'s are obsessed with decorating their little hideout after all, but the dragons and griffins couldn't be compared to the rest.'
As I climbed up the little steep surface to reach the griffin's nest a variety of gold and silver treasures were scattered on the chamber and a hefty amount of eye-catching jewels instantly surrounded me.
"Whoooaa! How rich was that dead griffin!"
'Sadly, I can't stuff any of these things into my inventory. I have only a single block which becomes open after retrieving the necklace and that too is reserved for the griffin's eggs.'
In the end, only my eyes were able to feast upon the countless gold and silver treasures. "Heck, this isn't time to do sightseeing, I have to hurry!"
I panicked recognizing that since the boss is dead then we may be forcefully exited anytime as of this moment.
"But, where are that damn eggs!?"
The condition for the completion wasn't to defeat the griffin but rather to find the boss's eggs. If I need to get that [Magicspell Book] the completion of the mission is a must.
'As I had excepted the eggs aren't present in this place..where could it possibly be in this little boss chamber? Wait...I become too dumb, I should just use magic to find those things!!'
"Magic Detection!!"
The spell spread out quickly at an unlikely speed and within seconds of the treasure trove a very light life force introduced itself to me, moving in the precise direction I arrived at the heap of gold coins which served as camouflage for the eggs underneath them.
Shoving off the gold like some sand, what appered in few moments was a immaculate huge egg shinning in all white vibe, "Nice I finally found you!!"
I stroked the egg smmoth yet sturdy while shell in an attempt to lift it off, at the same time my most awatied guest appears on my field of view.
[Sub-event 'Griffin's Nest' completed.]
[Reward 'Magic Spell Book (???)' Acquired.]
[Would you like to use the reward 'Magic Spell Book '?]
[ Learn.] [ Discard.]
'What the heck is with that question, of course, I will learn!!'
The virtual book inside the system window disappeared and suddenly a wave of knowledge unfolded within my brain box.
'What is this spell, it's so strange...'
[You have learned the spell: Dice of success!!]
[Type: Passive.]
"A passive skill, that's why I felt like I had learned nothing earlier, huh? System, Can I see the detailed view of the spell?"
[Affirmative.]
[Description: When a spell is repeatedly cast, the passive skill [Dice of success] induces the chances of appearance of the high version(tier) of the same spell.]
"So something like an enhanced magic, it is."
I don't know how much it would enhance the spell, however, the existence of itself was interesting in a way for me, 'In game forcibly increasing the tier of any spell will result in severe black lashes to some extent it will even lead to death, it seems like this passive skill of mine doesn't have any penalty.'
Then with a flash of light, the series of windows overlapping my field vie disappeared at the same time I was able to experience a rush of magical energy towards the boss room and the students washed over by it were also disappearing one after the other.
"It seems like I have very little time, shall I test out the spell then?"
Wanting to immediately experience the effect of the [Dice of succes], I began the cast of my favourite spell, "Ice missile!"
"Ice missile!!"
"Ice missile!!"
Like that after nearly a 4 to 5 dozen number of ice missiles found themselves with no opponent to go against, when the [Dice of success] was finally triggered.
"ICE MISSILE!!"
In front of me an huge Ice missile was being formed, 100 times of that the normal size which was almost at the size of an human troso. "Whoaaaa!"
I was instantly overwhlemed by it's and pure admiration came out, 'It's time to see it's destructive powers!!' as I grinned and watched as excepted the surprises didn't end there, "kuwang...BOOM!"
The ice missile that shot up in the direction of the dungeon wall made a huge hole and literally piered through the concerecte stone covering and was still disappering into the depth which my eyes couldn't grasp of.
"At this point, it's almsot a cheat spell if I activated it against a circle 1 magic user." As i was still struck in awe the wave finally swept over the boss room and reached out for me, 'I am satisfied...'
When I opened my eyes there were dozen of students scattered all over the huge training grounds I found myself in a sudden strangeness when I observed people surrounding me were Lazqurez, the dragon girl and the fainted one Catherine, and other important named characters.
'Huh? What is it?'
But their mood was unusual.
The students' gaze at us was a look of admiration with something of wonder.
'Now, wait?!'
And I soon realized that it was a gaze that was staring at "me" and not at "us."
