At first, I wondered what this was all about.
All the students' attention was on me, it was a situation of sudden strangeness at the same time it feels incredibly weird to be stared at by thousands of pairs of eyes out of nowhere at the same time you know.
And I soon learned why.
"That's... Monitor?"
In front of the waiting students, a large screen was illuminated through a crystal from the bottom, it appeared to be a projector that was spread out.
Of course, it was only a screen now, and there was no content on it currently, but I could tell that what had just been in the dungeon was being broadcast.
'It can't be like this....if I knew we would go live I would have never stood out much inside the tower.'
It was strange. In the original game, not only was the ruined tower wasn't broadcast but there wasn't any event that included a monitor in the first place.
The original purpose of this event was simply to gauge how long students will last in a hostile environment, not to test their ability to defeat bosses and clear dungeons.
So, in the original "Game," there was no such thing as a monitor.
"You showed a great performance Cadet Ares, hope you keep up the good work." The voice fell on my ears so abruptly that it took me a moment to recognize the one who spoke was the academy's headmaster.
I was only able to respond with the cliche sentence that came out naturally due to the original Ares's personality, "I am grateful for a compliment from a person as such as you, respected headmaster."
Clap...
Then, suddenly a single stroke of budding their hands together was heard it was none other than Coco when my eyes followed the sound's origin.
Clap~Clap~Clap!
Soon, the whole training grounds were filled with the clapping sound of hundreds of students in unison I found myself more embarrassed all of sudden however I could see one person grinning from ear to ear and banging her pair of hands like anything, 'Sword Instructor, why aren't you making me even more ashamed!!!'
Applause from most of the students except a very few aristocrat haters, I was puzzled whether to wave my hands or put up a smug face like any other noble will like to do as much as the original Ares.
"After all, the son of a great noble house is sure different!!"
'Shit, that's hella cringe anyway, it's relief that they were not able to see what had happened in the mysterious library.'
Professor Steve Lloyd, the regulator, and guardian of the ruined tower approached me and casually put his thick forearms and wraps them around my shoulders.
I was already so caught up in this situation that I just smiled without resistance.
"Of course, it must have been a legendary magic tool that you used there. Still, it's great! In the first place, This dungeon makes the student team cooperate every year. Perhaps this is not enough for the newer generation of mages!"
At the sound of Professor Steve's booming voice, the students cheered and applauded again. The students also seemed to be impressed and admired by my casual play with the boss.
'Well, I think it's a bit too...supportive."
Of course, the use of a magic tool is rather considered an act of cowardice however, it is not forbidden for mages to use magic tools in the first place.
'Having a good magic tool is also part of the wizard's specs.'
'By the way, it's a completely different image now....Should I call this a relief or a bother?'
In stark contrast to Zero, who displays a trashy character in the game and gets expelled for it, I have changed the future of Ares into a genius honor student.
'Whatever happened can't be undone, so shouldn't I at least enjoy the current situation to the fullest.'
Thus, I decided to purely enjoy the situation.
Of course, smiling and waving to the students who were still applauding comes first before giving my autograph to my fan girls.

Early morning in the classroom when classes have not yet started, the usual ruckus queen Darcy was strangely very silent today she was sitting by the window, waiting for the start of the Basic Magic class.
But somehow she seemed to have something to think about.
'What the hell is that power?'
Ruby still hadn't forgotten or rather she wasn't able to forget the scenes she had seen yesterday.
'How can you achieve that much strength in your freshmen year?'
Darcy who was yesterday eliminated by the boss griffin was watching Ares's battle on the monitor outside.
'Even if he did use that magic necklace, I am unsure whether I will be able to kill that thing even after being provided with that tool.'
Although she initially thought of the boss as nothing more than your usual dual partner that's just waiting to be get beaten up to a pulp by her, after clashing fists with that beast she couldn't say that.
'Speaking of this, his growth rate isn't normal in the first place, I even heard rumors he only started to learn spells and train in them after enrolling into the academy.'
The first time she started to take seriously Ares was when she was utterly defeated by his ridiculously sloppy yet cunning swordsmanship conducted by her sword instructor to determine the senior among her 2 pupils.
'At that time he defeated me I felt something...more than the desire to beat him, I wanted his atten-!! Hell, what am I even thinking now!?'
She hurriedly shook her head at the strange thought in her mind for a moment. Her cheeks were already bright red, similar to the color of her robes.
'No, the reason I took this class was just that I was interested in basic magic. Not for any other reason!! Absolute not to meet that fat bastard...well, technically speaking he is pretty much slim now unlike a month before shit, I have finally gone crazy~!!'
As the clamor in her mind was running around wildly while showing no signs of calming down the students began to come in.
And there was also Ares amoong the students entering the classroom.
After all, as she expected, Ares had taken a basic magic class. As soon as Ares spotted her, he waved and sat down next to her.
"Hello?" he said.
