Elise's lips curled into a smile as she widened her eyes to see Adela. She was quite enthusiastic as she spoke.
"My lady, you look gorgeous. Nobody will look away from you this evening."
Adela raised her eyes and took a quick peek in the mirror. She wore a strapless dress that went wonderfully with the waterfall braid. Her pendant, which shone like a star on her collar, and her long blonde hair, which touched her waist.
Adela turned to Elise and said sarcastically while tucking her hair behind her ear.
"Really?"
"I hope no one is more fascinated with me than the other princes."
Elise sighed, "I have heard that the first prince has a monstrous appearance and behaves like a beast."
Adela's eyes became smaller when she heard Elise. She wasn't expecting to learn about the first prince. She spoke out, "It's a terrible habit, Elise. After all, he is our prince."
