The two of them approached their carriage. There was complete silence in the carriage. Camilla was staring out, while her father was staring in the opposite direction. Camilla easily adopted her father's behavior toward her because she had grown up with this kind of care.
After a brief pause, David broke the ice by asking Camilla, "How's your training?"
Camilla turned her gaze to her father's side. It startled her, as she didn't expect her father to ask her a question.
She wasn't sure whether she should be pleased or unhappy that her father was trying to talk to her. Because throughout the time she knew her father, he never engaged in any pointless conversations with her.
"It's alright, Father," Camilla responded.
David remarked with his usual serenity, "I hope you won't let me down if I suggest your name to the palace for the position of the sorceress."
