Chapter 30 - A Walk on the Beach

Finishing dinner Green Eyes and I held to the living room to have coffee, we talk like we been friends all our lives and funny thing is Brandon isn't anything like I thought. He's actually down to earth and more intelligent then I have him credit for. He tell me about how he's career started and how hard it was for him to get his foot in the door when he started . He laughs as he thinks back to where he was 4 years ago just a guy and his loud rock group, people used to say. Then green eyes says that nobody wanted to take a chance on him or his group. Always a no when he went to find a agent and a producer , your not good enough they would say and tell him his songs was nothing but words on a piece of paper . Nobody wanted to take a chance on him. So he did the next best thing earned money to produce one of his songs he wrote he and his band hit clubs night after night gaining experience and fan bade . Then one day a guy came up to him and told him who he was and that he wanted to give him and his band a shot at a chance of a lifetime " He wanted to produce and release his music and wanted them to move to California . Brandon adds it was hard " at first the guys and I rarely slept, or ate. We just toured to promote our single and album, we just made music and I got to cut my first album and more singles" of songs i wrote " with Fast Track Music. And that was our lives for the first two years , then finally it all payed off and here we are one of the hottest Rock Groups out there and the rest is history as some say . You really had it hard didn't you Brandon " I can't even imagine having to be turned down time after time and having to come up with you own money to produce a record on your own. I'd say you did well because look where you are now. Nitika my point is everywhere wasn't given to my band and I worked hard to get here . Nothing was easy everything was earned and not given freely we had to prove we was worth investigating in. And you did " look where you are , your doing what you love . In the beginning it was what I wanted here we are 6 years into this and I'm 26 Nitika I don't want to be 30 year old Rock Star I want more , I want to give other bands a shot at what I have , I want to help them achieve their goals and dreams. Wow that's, I say I'm speechless " here I thought you was this selfish guy who only cared about himself and I don't know why I thought that because your nothing like what I thought . Oh so you judged me before you new me like every other person I dame across when I was starting out and he laugh's. No , no Brandon " that's not what I meant . Of chill beautiful I was messing with you" but people do get the wrong impression of me and I really don't care what anyone thinks but you I do care " what you think. That's why I shared my story this isn't something public thst my fans know . Just a handful of people I trust and you gorgeous I trust" and I don't want you to get the wrong idea about me Nitika. I don't sleep around and I'm not one to take a fan to bed for a one night stand. Nitika blushes " I mean your famous and a bad boy rock star. I guess it's easy for someone to think that. I apologize Brandon I was one of them people and now my whole outlook is a little different about you. Brandon grins " just a little geeze Nitika your tuff . I laugh maybe a little but what I went through in my life makes it hard to trust anyone or anything people say. And especially a huge Rock God like you " but Brandon I believe you if that's worth anything. It means a lot Nitika, because as i said I like you I want to get to know you better and this is a start that you believe me. Oh you better deflate that huge head of yours or you'll be flying off to somewhere. My huge head he grins " oh shit Brandon dies you mind ever get lonely in the gutter and I laugh. Well sometimes it does" Brandon says but hey things are looking up. Would you like to go for a walk on the beach Nitika its a beautiful night out and he stands " holds out his hand and I hesitate for a moment" then I take his hand and he leads me out a door that opens to a beach and the sound of the ocean. We remove our shoes and Brandon rolls up his pants leg's and removes his jacket rolls up his shirt sleeve's and we head toward the private beach for a walk in the moonlight .
