They rushed straight into the forests smelling the same awful stench as before, they tried to track it to a single location but they couldn't. The smell had covered the whole area making it impossible to track anything.
"Frank…", a voice called out to him.
Frank looked to where the voice came from and saw her, Melissa. Through shear desperation he wriggled his way off Tolo's back and ran towards her.
"Shit, must have healed him too well", Tolo says before rushing after him.
Tolo chased after him with the twins not far behind, but in an instant he was gone.
"Stay vigilant guys, it's here", Tolo said.
Through the trees, someone or rather something crawled out, it looked like a goat but with human features, it had blood red eyes, razor sharp teeth with blood and flesh smeared all over it, it's back was curved and it stood on all fours.
The most peculiar thing was here black hair which was slowly falling off and the decomposition of it's flesh.
"Remember all I've taught you, this is real battle right here", Tolo says with a smile.
Their eyes begin to glow as the beast charges towards them at hyper speed, the three jump to dodge the attack but it was followed up with another quick attack.
Kinea lunges towards it and kicks it to the ground where Kean rushes over. Grabbing by the arm and slamming it into some trees, breaking a few trees.
The beast got straight up and ran to them at full speed, trying to bite Kinea but he knees her jaw upwards and punches her away.
"Kinea, don't land a decisive blow on it. That's most likely Franks lover", Kean says.
"I know that already but how are we meant to save her", he asks.
"That's what I'm here for", Tolo says.
He stretches his hand slightly forward and a black book materializes in his hand. The twins have seen this book before, it's the same as the one those cult members where using.
"Dantes Inferno", he says with a smile.
"A book with the database of all the demons as well as ways of defeating them, the book can be use to form rituals and even bring the death back to life.
The beast jumps towards him at super speed, It had grown in speed in just a few seconds. She jumped towards him about to slash him but he dodges it and gives a gut wrenching punch straight to her stomach.
It flew into some trees breaking them, she screamed and wailed in pain as Tolo walked towards her holding the book in one hand and placing the other on her head. A cube forms around her before shrinking with her inside.
He pockets the cube and turns to them. "So are we done?",Kinea asks.
Tolo laughs before saying "this is just the beginning".
They all look into the forest looking at the red eyes, hundreds of pairs all focusing their gaze on them.
"Where's Frank?", Kean asks.
"They probably took him", Kinea replies.
A black figure about eight feet tall lunges at them at almost super sonic speed, hitting Tolo and sending him flying before kicking Kinea to another direction and swipes Kean to another.
Tolo lands uses his hands to balance himself looking up and seeing even more eyes watching him.
Kinea also lands in the midst of forests and is almost immediately attacked by swarms of Wendigos about five of them, he dodges their attacks and brings out his daggers.
His eyes glow brightly with his daggers following not soon after, he goes into a fighting stance and lunges at them.
A wendigo swipes at him but he jumps towards it's face and in an instance cut its head clean off causing rotten blood to spill out , jumping off it's body before doing the same to another beside it.
He then swung his blade intensely causing energy slashes that cut the rest of them as well as the trees around him to pieces forming aclearing with him in the middle.
He landed putting one knee to the floor as his eyes and daggers stop glowing and he begins gasping for air.
"Damn, using spiritual energy really takes a number on me", he said but his battle wasn't over. The wendigo bodies began to reform, even the blood on his clothes and skin returned back to their bodies but only this time more deformed than before.
Nevertheless he fights off the fatigue and gets back to his fighting stance, ready to go another round.
Meanwhile, Kean brings out his sword, charges it up with energy as his eyes and the sword glow. Before he begins fighting the beasts.
He lunges straight at them parrying their attacks and jumps towards one piercing it's eye sockets with the sword, blood splashing through it. He then jumps back with sword at hand and charges his sword.
In a split second as the wendigos rush towards him, his sword glows a bright blue as he then swings his sword at them making a large energy slash that cuts all of them in half and the trees behind them.
He then drops to one knee using his sword as a balance. "I really need more training", he says.
Then the wendigos begin to reform, very deformed. He then gets up and gets ready for another bout.
Tolo however has no problem with his opponents, the snow stained with rotten blood as he stands on the dead wendigo corpses that aren't regenerating.
Then out of the forest, another wendigo comes out but only bigger than the rest of them with a huge grin on its face,
"You must be the original", he says.
"You here to hunt me down?! You really think you could defeat a being like me that has lived for thousands of years. That book you hold has much more meaning than what you know", it says.
"Shut up, let's get this over with!", he replies.
"I'll be taking those two boys with me as well, fetching them will really make him favour me! My name is Dranile, may I know yours?!", it says.
He then material is a large axe as he pumped it with spiritual energy, the axe's true design actually begun to show all over it's body, as there were roses all over that glowed a bright green as he used it. He then rests the axe on his shoulder using his right hand.
"It's Tolo, Ya shithead!".
