"What should I do? I can't help you!" Cried cory in confusion.
There was nothing to help the girl out on this vast grassland. Only himself and the girl in there.
Cory turned his back on his luggage, looking for something that might have saved the girl from the misfortune that was going on right now.
He disposed of everything in the case. But in vain, there was nothing of value that could be used to heal the girl. Because all it contains is a weapon to fight and someone to hurt.
There's no point in to save that girl. He's in really bad shape!
The girl's moaning was heard so loud, sending Cory back towards her. She raises her arms with the rest of her power to call Cory over.
"Despicable man… Come here… Quick help me please!"
"Sorry. I can't help you, I don't even know what you are! I'm sorry!"
Even though that was the girl who had attacked him earlier, Cory still couldn't bear to see her tumble there.
Suddenly, a light formed over the girl's body. The light changes, forming a chain that binds one another. There's been a lot of weird things that Cory's been facing today, and those lights are one of the weirdest things he's ever met.
If this is a delusion before death. I would believe it. Why is there something like that in this world!
"Humans. I was wrong about you. I thought you were a coward. And yet you are the one who has succeeded in bringing me down, for that, raise me to become your servant..."
"My servant?!" Shouts Cory doesn't believe what he's hearing.
The chains made of light bind the girl's neck, locking it like a leash for a pet.
Cory's sense is starting to go down the right road now. He still had no idea what to do to end it.
"What do you mean? And what was that chain around your neck just now? "Asked cory
"It's the only way I can survive, o human. I still don't want to die. And in order to do that, I want you to be my master."
A book with hundreds of pages of magic suddenly appeared in front of cory. The floating pen was on Cory's side and suddenly came along. The handwriting there was just like the one he saw and heard everyday. The writing of a human being.
"Write your name on it. And you'll sign a contract between the two of us."
"Contract? What will happen after this? I don't want to write a contract that I don't even know what's on it!"
"If you write your name in that book, then I'll be bound to you. I will do as you wish, follow you wherever you go, and grant your wish. I'll be your servant"
Cory shudders. Offering like this was like an offering from a genie in a bottle. It looks tempting but may hide a terrible thing inside. Not to mention this dragon girl tried to kill him earlier.
"I'm sorry, I can't write my name in this book. I don't know who you are, where I am, even what my true desire is inside me. I don't want to do it consecutively"
Although her stature looks like an innocent girl, I can't believe it. I have no purpose in life, but I don't want to die in a ridiculous state either!
A spurt of blood came out of her mouth, soaking all the grass in front of her.
Her face also looked pale, the crystal in her chest began to grow dim in an unusual way. Like losing energy to keep it on. Cory doesn't have the courage to look at her.
"Please human, I don't want to die. I still want to live. I have a purpose and a hope that I can't yet attain. If the crystal within me dim completely, then I will die with it."
"If you still have hope, then why do you want to be my servant? Wouldn't that go against what you'd hoped for?"
The girl's smiling at Cory. A sweet smile with a little blood on her face. Cory's even more baffled as to why this girl is acting so weird on him.
"No, not at all. Because I believe you to be my master. I was able to fulfill my dream..."
Cory's temple is sweating endlessly. On the one hand he wanted to rescue that poor, defenseless dragon girl, but on the other hand he didn't want his own life to get into a dangerous trap later on.
Perhaps there's nothing wrong with me signing this contract. As long as I live, I make decisions between life and death! But this time, I'm going to save someone else's life!
Cory wrote his name on the first page of the book.
The chain around the girl follows Cory around. It was warm because each piece was made of compressed light. Cory never thought he'd do something like this.
The girl rises up, a giant ring rings around her body, like a planet Saturn. It's just that it's so thin it's easy to lose it.
The wounds on the girl's body are now gone, along with her own fading blood. The girl still closed her eyes, waiting for the contractual and magical cure to be complete.
Still with no clothes on, finally the whole procession ended.
The girl looked down at cory like she was trying to thank him.
"Don't stoop like that. I'm sure you'll still feel the pain. So it was better if y--"
"My name is Lucia, princess of the dragon kingdom, Exalos. From this day on, I pledge my soul and my body only to you master…"
"Ehh? Princess? What do you mean?"
The girl raises her head, smiling back at the bewildered Cory.
"I have been driven out of my own kingdom master… My father, the king, has been viciously betrayed by my uncle who holds the throne now. I'm wandering around, looking for a strong man to reclaim what is rightfully mine. But since I have bound a contract with you, I will serve you with all my heart."
What a shock Cory hurls. It's like he heard a story from the middle ages.
"Then, master. What task would you like to give me right now?"
"Ehmm… don't you feel the breeze around here? I've got a first mission for you. You need to find something to cover your body. I'm afraid you're freezing now…"
