She turned to see someone hold her in place.
"Be careful or you will fall" he said.
"You? from the accident " she muttered.
He chuckled nodding, "You broke your ankle you need to get it checked," he said.
She looked down at her swollen red ankle, "Oh I am, I was just worried about my son. Thank you again " she said pulling away from his hold.
He slowly let her go as she reached for the waiting seats next to them.
"Is he okay now?" he asked.
She looked up, "Yes he is, I was so worried "
"That's good, now that his okay you need to take care of yourself too. I don't think he will like it to see you get sick cause of him " Leon said.
Her eyes meet his and he scoffed. "Am sorry not minding my business but I still feel guilty about the accident " he said.
She gave him a weak warm smile, "Thank you but am okay now that my son is fine. I will get my ankle checked later after I see him " she said.
"Miss Cowell, your finally here ". a woman's voice shouted. It was a short chunky young girl with glasses.
She ran to her side and frowned.
" You came running in the rain am sorry I made you worried. He just suddenly got sick " she said.
"It's okay Jane, you brought him here in time. Thank you" she said.
Jane turned to the tall handsome man standing next to them. His eyes still staring at her boss.
"And he is?" she whispered.
Her boss turned to see Leon still there.
"Oh his someone who helped me when I heard an accident on my way here," she said. Jane looked down to see the swollen red ankle and got up.
"Let's go right now to get that treated it will get worse," she said.
"I will after I see Lance," she said.
"But.." Jane said.
"I will take her to the doctor, you wait for her son," Leon said. Jane and her boss looked at him.
"Thank you sir that would be so helpful," Jane said turning to her boss, "Go get that treated and I will wait for Lance here "
Before she could protest Leon's arms were carrying her up in the air. Easily he carried her up and started walking off.
"Ahh..but I will get your clothes wet too," she said.
"It's okay, I offered to help so don't worry," he said.
She held on to him and quietly let herself be carried off to the doctors. She could see doctors, nurses, and other patients staring at them.
He led them into one of the doctor's offices and sat her down on the examination bed. She looked around the see no one inside.
He returned with a metal kit full of hospital tools. she frowned watching him put on a doctor's coat and gloves.
"Are you a doctor?" she asked surprised.
He nodded and a nurse walked in, "Dr. Leon the X-ray room is ready " she said.
"Thank you, I will be there in a while," he said.
He turned back to the surprised woman.
"Am sorry I didn't know you worked here " she apologized.
He smiled grabbing a file, "Your full name " he asked.
"My name?"
"Yes, I need it to fill these so we can get you treated," he said.
"Celina Cowell " she answered.
After filling in everything, he examined her ankle and then carried her out to the X-ray room. She kept wondering why they would not bring her a wheelchair instead of him carrying her around.
After her test, a nurse came in with a wheelchair.
"I bought this might help to ease your work so Dr.Leon won't have to carry her around," she said. Celina sighed thanking her quietly.
Leon frowned and walked to where Celina was bending down he carried her up.
"Thank you but It's my choice to carry her so it's not that hard," he said walking off with a quiet embarrassed Celina.
Why was he making this all weird she thought holding onto him.
He gave her a cast and brought her back to where Jane was this time finally in a wheelchair. That she had finally asked him to get her.
"Oh your back Lance is awake and wants to see you," she said.
Celina turned to Leon, "Thank you, Dr. Leon " she said.
"Welcome, Miss Cowell," he said.
Jane pushed her inside her son's room.
A nurse ran to his side, "Doctor your mother is making a scene in the ward" she said.
He frowned and turned to leave.
