The next time Iris woke up was the following day, shortly eating and taking her medication she had a new visitor. The visitor was a year or two old cute looking boy sharing resemblance with the man that was claiming to be her husband yesterday, she is quite sure the boy and the man are related.
The boy came closer to her hospital bed stretched his hands out towards her while looking up at her. He called out cutely. "Mummy sorry you your hurt you head, let me blow on your booboo could go away".
Mummy This is getting to real, first it was a claiming to be her husband and now a boy claiming to be her son. Is she the one getting things mixed up by not believing what that man said yesterday? Are they the one telling the truth about her identity? But that man had no reasons to lie to her because he looks like an influential person. And the young child totally had no reason whatsoever because he looks so adorably innocent for that.
Or is this a prank from her family? Do she even have one or does she not? Because nobody else came to visit her after the accident she was told she had. While Iris was having this internal debate within herself the boy was calling out to her repeatedly while crying. " Mummy, Mummy, Mummy please, Mummy answer me I'm sorry I will be a good boy, please don't leave me, please Mummy don't chase me away I will be quiet"
The maid that came with him, went to him and tries to console him while drying is tears with an handkerchief she brought with her.
Iris snapped out of her thought and looks towards her son, spread out hands then says "My darling boy, come to Mother and stop crying. Mummy is not angry at you" The boy happy to hear this, ran excitedly towards his mother.
Iris hugged the boy and said with emotions in her voice. " Sorry my sweet baby that mummy didn't give you a good response. You know mummy hurt her head and forgot somethings that is the reason she behaves like that. Baby don't cry mummy promise ignore or chase you away again. Okay stop crying my son" The boy stops crying and said "Promise?" "Promise I pinky promise" Said Iris stretching her pinky finger at the boy. " Pinky promise" replied the crossing his fingers with his mother.
" Baby you know your mom hurt her head and could not remember somethings, let's start with you telling me your name, you can do that for me right? My cute baby" Iris said after the boy stops crying. " Yes Mummy I can do that for you" The boy said cutely.
"My name is Ryan Campbell" said the child happily with smiles. "That's my smart boy, you did great I'm so proud of you" Iris praised the boy while kissing the boy on his cute cheeks. Blushing Ryan asked Iris shyly while blinking his bright eye at her "Really I'm smart" " Yes really don't you believe me, you are a very smart boy whom I'm proud of " Said Iris while looking into the boy's eyes. Ryan looked down while blushing more .
The maid that was watching from the side was very surprised and thought the accident that the Madam was involved in is a blessing in disguise. Never in her life as she thought her boss wife will be attentive and caring toward her son without ignoring him. This is a Miracle, she is sure the rest of the Servants at the Mansion will find this surprising as well. If the Madam could continue with this new character change it will be better for the Young Master and everyone she is in contact with.
Iris continued with her questions with her son, making the boy very happy that his mother had the time for him today. He wish his mother to continue to be this way without shouting at him whenever she is angry, he likes is mum this way he really does.
After asking few questions from her son, Iris was surprised with some behaviors she noticed from the boy. It seems like the boy was hold back and not that free with her like how the relationship between mother and child should be. Whenever she ask him a question about himself he looks surprised and happy that she asked him in the first place, he will answer excitedly then later his voice will later today trails off like his afraid of her.
That really baffles her because something inside her knows it is wrong, that she can not treat her child in that manner. She was sure deep down in her mind her child should be very to her in expressing himself, but now she don't know what is wrong with the relationship she is having with her son. Iris then decided to change as form now and make Ryan as comfortable as possible around her to build a good relationship of mother and son. Later when she Regan's her lost memories she plan to find out what came about the Odd behavior of her son to her. Till then she has to make Ryan relax around her.
Few hours later Ryan had so much fun with his mother, then later doze of after not long after his mother fed him his food which he ate happily with joy. Iris herself fell asleep not longer after Ryan fell asleep.
Never did Iris and Ryan knew that there interaction with each other was witnessed by to men.
