Chapter 19 - The Tea Party and the Legend part 1

Author's notes: haha, I was away for a long time, but now I'm here. Have fun reading

- Listen Shiro, now I'm going to tell you a legend - she said and made a short pause, and then continued - A few thousand years ago, people did not know what magic was yet. The states of those times were growing and they needed to expand somewhere. So the wars between all states began, but let's not talk about it. One day, the king of one country received a report about the defeated army. He was very stunned by this and he went to personally find out the reason for this - Anafel calmly finished.

She quietly got up and went to the fancy stove on which the kettle was standing and it was quietly glowing, probably signaling that the water in it was boiling. While she was walking slowly towards him, I decided that I would remove the wings, as they were a little in my way. "Ugh, no less pain," I thought and gritted my teeth. Anafel noticed my shrinking wings and frowned slightly.

- Is this also an ability? - she asked briefly, while she had already taken the kettle off the stove and started pouring tea into cups. I grinned coldly and answered.

"The old man's parting 'gift'," I said with a cold grin. To which Anafel giggled softly and put the cups of tea on a small tray and carried it to the table.

- Have some tea, it's very relaxing - she said and pointed to a bowl with different patterns in the form of intertwining snakes that rest their heads on the bottom of the bowl. I took the cup and carefully brought it to my face and smelled the aroma of tea. "Hmm, there doesn't seem to be any poison... Oh, what am I thinking," shaking my head, I focused on the smell of tea. "It really relaxes.... hmm, not anymore, what the fuck? " I frowned and took a sip of tea.

- Really delicious, thank you ~ I said softly and began to enjoy it. Anafel only nodded weakly and also started drinking tea. For 5-10 minutes we just drank tea. " This iridescent texture, from bitter to soft sourness, and I really liked it, but I was alerted by the fact that now the aroma of tea no longer relaxes me. We need to find out," I concluded, and finally put down the bowl and asked Anafel.

- Can we continue already? I asked impatiently. To which she smiled slightly and put her cup on the tray where my cup was.

- Well, in those days and even now, four races dominated: Demons, Angels, Dragons and Humans. But about the latter, the concept is extensible and there are too many types of people, so they are considered one race. When the king arrived at the place where his army was defeated and the surrounding scene scared him to death. Hundreds and hundreds of dead warriors and almost all of them were brutally killed. Some were torn to shreds, others were burnt to a crisp with missing limbs, others were impaled on spears, in short it was a massacre. But the most terrifying thing was that there was a creature standing in the middle of this carnage and at first glance he looked like a man. The creature stood motionless, like a mountain of many years, and its eyes pierced deeply into the king, causing deep fear of this creature. Soon, the creature finally moved and walked towards the king. With each step, he seemed to take several and this only made him even more anxious. When the creature approached, an invisible pressure was released on the king. The king fell to his knees and grabbed his neck with his hands and all his servants were already lying in the mud and their vomit because of the surrounding scene. But immediately the pressure dropped to nothing and the king was finally able to breathe. For five minutes he did nothing but breathe, but the king still managed to pull himself together and look at this creature.

He was a middle-aged man with long jet-black hair, but several features. He had blood-red eyes that looked very bored and small horns grew on his forehead, about 20 centimeters. This caused the king to frown a little, but soon hurriedly shifted his gaze to the creature's body. He had a slender body with prominent muscles and was wearing a black robe with a cutout in the middle in the shape of an eye. This cutout was painted red and it seemed to be unusual. After examining the creature, the king did not know if he was talking? Will he understand what is being said? The King had never seen another humanoid race before and therefore there were doubts in his thoughts. But the creature in front of him spoke in his native language.

"Were they your warriors, King?" - he asked, and to which the king was stunned that it could talk.

"Y-yes, sir, they were my people," the king stammered. To which the creature only smiled coldly at his words and smiled contemptuously and said.

"You think they're warriors, huh, don't make me laugh," the creature said threateningly and released a weak wave of pressure from which the king tensed up again. But still the king was able to overcome this pressure and asked.

"May I know your name or your race, sir?" - he asked timidly and waited for an answer. After five minutes of deep silence, the creature finally spoke.

"My name is Kelly and we are demons, but for you I am a deity," Kelly said with an arrogant smile and tone. But the reaction was not what Kelly expected. The king prostrated himself before him and shouted loudly.

- O great Lord God, what do you want? He asked Killie in an agitated tone.

- First of all, tell me your name? The demon asked and the king answered.

- My name is Salrl Cernnun - briefly replied Salrli bowed again. To which the demon nodded and spoke.

- Take me to your country, I want to look at it and pick up these people, - he said in a commanding tone and pointed to the people lying in their vomit. The king hastily bowed and began furiously waking up his servants to go back home and show the "deity" his possessions. - Anafel stopped for a while to make more tea.

"Hmm, I think there's something missing in this part of the legend... Don't kings have strong wills? Anafel said that people didn't have magic then and they fought without magic... Like in the Middle Ages in my world," I concluded in my head and a pleasant aroma of tea hit me in the nose.

- Here's a new portion. It was made from herbs that grow on this mountain - Anafel briefly explained and also started drinking tea. "It has a completely different taste than the last one, and I think this one is even tastier," I thought, and continued to drink tea until it ran out. After about 10 minutes, the tea was over and I started talking.

- And what happened next? I asked with interest.

- Hmm, when they arrived in the country, the demon asked.

- Servant, what is the name of your country?

- Sir, my country is called Jadrela - Salrl said humbly and the demon just nodded.

- And what will you do in my country? The King of Jadrela asked. To which the demon smiled the most terrifying smile.

- I want to change this country, well, and "improve"~ he said in a strange tone. And it was with this event that the reign of demons began for almost a thousand years on humanity! Anafel paused again and got up from the table.

- Anafel, where are you going? I asked, but then I felt like I was hungry. "Well, why now, we stopped at the most interesting thing," I thought angrily about my voracious appetite.

"You're hungry, so I'm going to catch someone, while you look at the initial guide of the magicians of this world," she said with a slight smile, and after a blink of an eye, a fancy book appeared in her palm and she gently put it on the table.

- Good! I said, enlivened by the new knowledge. "I don't know why, but I want even more knowledge "
