"…Thank you for saving me, sir." The doctor said as he rewrapped my arm.
"No problem. But it was just an instinct I had at the moment. I didn't do anything." I shrugged
The doctor glanced up at me then back to his work. I looked to the far distance where the group of soldiers went back to their training. Some ran laps, others worked on bodybuilding, and a few fought each other with wooden swords.
"Doctor…" I started.
"Mhmm?" He hummed without taking his eyes off the bandage.
"What are they fighting for?" I asked
He glanced at me and shrugged, "There are many answers I could give you to answer your question. For example, that soldier right there?" He pointed to a man with sandy blonde hair. "He's saving money for his nephew's school. Mother couldn't stand to be near the child, so he took over in her place. The poor thing…"
"Why couldn't she be near her child?" I asked
