Davy leaned against the headboard, his head in between his knees, his golden hair disheveled in front of his face. The quiet atmosphere was intensifying his gloomy mood. His gaze was fixed to the side, despite the fact that he couldn't see clearly due to the hair on his face.
What the system had just said replayed in his mind. He was also quite disturbed as to why the system malfunctioned, couldn't finish its words, and was now unreachable to Davy no matter how he called its name.
Davy closed his eyes and sighed deeply. He bit his lower lip as he hugged himself even tighter; he hated being alone even more than he did now. Actually, Davy had spent the majority of his life in the real world alone.
He didn't have a family or even any relatives; he had some friends, but not to the point of being best friends with them either. It was short for a monotonous and boring life, and virtual games had become his primary source of entertainment and stress relief.
