Their tense and somewhat weird atmosphere didn't last long, as Lyle instantly lived up and happily introduced his scary inventions again. Davy was swayed, and his thoughts quickly diverted to these dangerous creations.
They ranged from unquestionable weapons to terrifying bombs in ordinary-looking containers and even some machines that, if invented in reality, would undoubtedly destroy the world. Davy would never be able to look at Lyle the same way again. His mind... was on another level.
They had unknowingly been looking around for hours, but Davy didn't seem tired at all.
"Ah right, I just remembered," Lyle exclaimed, his eyes brightening as he looked at Davy. Davy was moved and smiled as he waited for Lyle to continue. "I already finished it, so wait for me here; it's a surprise!" He bowed down and pecked Davy's forehead before disappearing from view.
