In the end, Davy didn't get enticed and still refused Lyle's invitation. While he was intrigued, he wasn't ready for that just yet. Even just imagining it made his heart race; what more if he was already on the scene?
Perhaps... next time. Lyle also didn't force him. He also did not go there to watch the fight, instead accompanying Davy all day.
It was only after two days that Davy was taken aback and almost froze where he stood as he saw the familiar man with dark red hair sitting casually in his bed. For a brief moment, he blinked and stared at the man he hadn't seen in a few days. Draven raised his gaze as well, and their gazes locked.
Draven's face lit up and he almost smiled automatically. Davy stared at his face for a moment—which, actually, even he had to admit. Draven's smile was something he looked forward to seeing because of the way it instantly lifted someone's spirits.
