"Leaving that aside, you three don't worry. You are definitely in the right hands with her handling your Magic Theory Class. But I'll say it again, you don't have to agree with what your Elders are saying, you can reject them, and you don't even need to worry that they will get angry with you because these three are unlike those stupid and ignorant fucks who the only thing that they know is open their jaws." Mio said as she even patted all of their heads which earned a great shock from the three.
Never have they seen or even recalled the Goddess someone touching that intimately much more like what she did with anyone, she doesn't even do it with little children who absolutely adore her. It was all because she doesn't like touching people she doesn't know and just generally hates filthy things.
So for them to get patted on the head with such intimacy was a great shock to them, it even felt like it was an honor for them to receive. When Mio saw this, she immediately realized that she screwed up because for a moment she forgot that she was not their teacher currently and was the Goddess. So without saying anything more she just took her hand away while walking away and this earned a chuckle from the three who were watching.
But just as Mio was about to say something about those three, she felt the Mana around her go berserk, and without even saying anything, she protected all six of them as they all backed away.
"A Gate just spawned… It's even an S Class." Mio sighed as she looked at the Massive Gate in front of her and from one glance she already knew it was a Beast which was one of the worst scenarios possible because there were only a few possibilities of what was inside the Gate, but the worst-case scenario was for it to be a Flood Dragon Gate because the environment inside would be like hell to traverse with as it is nothing but an island in the middle of the ocean.
"Ahh… shit. This is serious now… just stay back here. I'll go inside and clear the Gate… Fuck… now the media is even here." Mio felt a headache coming as once she saw the cameras she knew that it was going to be a live broadcast. Just as she was about to tell all of them to leave, she felt a massive pressure coming from the Gate.
To everyone's surprise, a giant Claw of a Dragon suddenly emerged in the Gate signaling that a Gate outbreak was going to happen in just a few seconds. No one in the area expected such a thing to happen because normally it would need a few days for it to happen, but this time not even five minutes had passed since the Gate spawned and it was already going into an outbreak not even Mio expected it as she was the one who calculated the time. But this kind of thing already happened before and when she realized it, her eyes widened in shock.
"Get the fuck out of here, this is a Gate of Abomination!" Mio yelled as she shielded everyone from the attack of the Flood Dragon but because she put all of her strength for everyone, she took the full force of the breathe attack of the Flood Dragon. But with her quick reaction, she managed to save everyone who should've died if they got hit with it.
As for her, she didn't manage to place a barrier that was strong enough as it quickly got destroyed injuring her everywhere.
"Alright now… this is a clear threat. Goverment! Hero Society! Guilds! Get over here and evacuate everyone as quickly as possible, use every bit of your strength to evacuate everyone. Even you 12 Legendary Heroes, MOVE NOW!" Mio yelled and using her powers she heard everyone on earth at first they were confused but when they saw the live broadcast they all dropped what they were doing and rushed over to the Plaza to do as they were told.
As for Mio she was holding off every Beast that was trying to escape but being alone she couldn't do it and slowly dozens of them began to get out with her only killing a few.
"Lucifer, we're here. Let us help you!" Solar arrived with everyone as now they were equipped with their battle gears and they were ready to fight but after seeing the state of Mio, they all gasped in shock.
"Don't, just don't. I don't need your help, I will only repeat myself once. Get everyone out of here and I will stall, once you are done with evacuating everyone with how many there are I don't care, stay there and kill the Beast who has escaped here." Mio said coldly as she wiped the blood off her mouth.
Everyone looked at each other before finally nodding their heads as they just got to work, moving as quickly as possible but because this was one of the most populated cities in Japan it was going to take a while.
"Death Fire Grasp…" Mio grabbed one of the Dragon's heads before crushing it with her palm and instantly the Dragon's body began to burn wildly but before Mio could even take a rest she already plunged herself right next to the other Dragon.
As she then decapitated another Dragon's head using her Scythe, she saw an attack coming for her so she shielded herself with a stone wall, but because there were too many she failed to shield herself from everything as now hundreds of them were attacking her all at once. But what she doesn't know is that her every move was still being broadcasted as there were still people who stayed to get everything on camera, they were even sacrificing their lives for this.
People then began to cry at this because their Goddess was now in such a bad shape and no one was there to help her. But before everyone could react, Mio was now surrounded by hundreds more of the Flood Dragons.
"Memento Mori: Infinity's End," Mio said in a cold and deep voice as she and everyone who were watching were confused about what just happened because it seemed that what they were watching just stopped but just as they were about to say something, those hundreds of terrifying Dragons exploded in a bloody mist.
"It's been so long since I have used this Skill… Haiss, how I've missed this feeling." Mio said coldly as she began to crack her neck as she looked at the next wave of enemies coming at her.
