After she got that quest she was now even more determined to get all of them to teach as many people as possible, not because of the rewards even though they played a huge part in it, but because even without it, she is still going to use her powers to make them. After knowing that they have little chance of defeating their Enemies even within the time limit that she gave to herself, she felt fearful because she thought that she was letting everyone die in vain.
"Will anyone take my offer?" Mio asked as she looked at all of the people that she just mentioned, but after not seeing anyone raise their hand even her friends, she felt cold inside. She could understand them though but she still couldn't help but feel angry at them because they were being too selfish, even though they already knew that this was for the sake of their world, they were still refusing to cooperate.
Just as she was about to add another offer to that which was just as great as the last one, she saw some of them slowly raise their hands, and seeing this eased her heart. At least she now knows who is greedy for just the treasures alone and the ones that really want to teach. Being in the spotlight for so long she had long known how to differentiate people and from what she can see today, there are none of them.
The ones that were just showing their greediness were the ones who didn't get picked by her and the way that all of them were looking at her, it was as if they wanted to kill her, and seeing this, Mio just couldn't help but chuckle at this because this was exactly the reason why she didn't chose them even though they are capable of doing so. Their personality was just too bad.
"I'm glad that all of you agreed to my selfish request, but honestly I appreciate it. None of you need to worry, I will also teach some people that I find worthy. But as an additional thanks to the 12 of you can ask Solar to see me on one, and I will teach you whatever you want. This might be a shock too, but if you want to learn Magic Theory, I can consult the Grand Saintess because she is not really dead, she just wanted to escape the spotlight, even though in reality she is just lazy." Mio said which shocked everyone.
The one that they had died a long time ago is actually alive and well and now they were even seeing her right in front of them. The kind and gentle woman who revolutionized the Magic Theory in the world is now back from the dead.
"Why do you gotta say that, I thought you changed after these years. We even had dinners together, how can you say I'm lazy? You know me, I just don't like getting the spotlight on me. That is why I pretended to be dead and I'm sorry everyone for my selfish decision." The Grand Saintess said as she looked a bit sad.
This scene melted everyone's heart as even though a lot of time had passed it seemed that she was still the same person that everyone had looked up to, but those people who knew who she really was couldn't help but want to look away because it simply didn't match.
Behind all of that gentleness and kindness is a merciless and cold-blooded killer and Najin, Saito, and Solar knew that. It was even almost disturbing to see, at least for them. But for Alice and Carol, it was different because now they were seeing the real Grand Saintess because the one that they were used to seeing always had a cool and cold personality but they somehow knew it would be like that because it was in a professional setting.
"Grand Saintess… why did you decide to show yourself now if that is your reason? We understand that if you don't want to be involved in such a matter right now, plus you have already done so much for our world. Second only to the Goddess." Iris who is one of the best Supports Magicians and was also extremely efficient in Magic Theories walked up to the Grand Saintess before kneeling and asking her in a respectful tone.
"You are… Iris Schneider? Well, you see… Lucifer here came up to me on her own which she doesn't do a lot and asked me if I could go back, she even offered me a lot of treasures, even 10x of the amount that you got offered. But I refused all of it because after knowing the current situation, I knew that I needed to come back. So please, if you have any questions for me regarding Magic Theories even to the more advanced one, please do not hesitate to contact me through Lucifer. Also for the whole world, I will share some more of the knowledge that I have learned throughout the years that I was gone, so please don't worry. In return, I only hope that everyone can do their part of defending our beloved world." The Grand Saintess said as she even bowed her head to everyone which made them panic.
Mio however who was controlling the clone simply placed her hand on her back before comforting her.
"Well you heard her, so I really hope that all of us can work together and I mean this. She may have worded it out kindly, but I'm different. Those who refuse to cooperate will get no mercy from me, especially to all of you Nobles and the side of the Government and Hero Association. I'll destroy everything that you ever know and love if you refuse to cooperate." Mio warned all of them in a cold tone as she intentionally released her bloodlust onto all of them to strike fear in all of their hearts.
"Why do you gotta talk like that? Though you changed, it seems that you didn't. But what can I do? But please everyone, just cooperate with us because I won't be able to save anyone of you even if I wanted to. As you know I'm not a fighter, but I'm just a researcher." The Grand Saintess said in a soft tone as she pinched Mio's waist.
This scene made Solar almost look away as she couldn't bear to see how Mio was controlling the doll to act like that, even though it was something that the Grand Saintess would really do, it still sent a shiver down her spine.
