"It seems that the Grand Saintess has a good relationship with Lucifer… are you two close friends too? Does the Grand Saintess have the same relationship that Lady Solar has with Lucifer?" A reporter suddenly raised her hand as she asked this question with a little difficulty, at first she felt that she shouldn't ask something like that, she even asked her colleagues whether it was a good idea or not, but all of them instantly rejected that idea.
No one thought that it would be a good idea as these two women were known to be elusive and secretive about their lives, no one even knew their real name or face. Even the Grand Saintess now is still wearing her signature white veil and white dress as for Lucifer, she is wearing what she considers her battle outfit even though in reality it is what she always wears no matter the occasion.
"Friends, huh? Well… I'll let her answer this one." Mio chuckled as she leaned on the podium before looking intently at the Grand Saintess and when everyone saw this, especially the flustered look of the Grand Saintess, a sudden thought came across everyone's mind.
Guessing from the aura that the two were releasing, there was only one answer, and that they have a thing for each other, or at least one of them. Because it was clear that one of them was in love and that was the Grand Saintess, from her actions alone it tells them that.
Meanwhile, Solar, Najin, and Saito who were watching everything from the start, to say that they got uncomfortable just from watching is an understatement. Mio was basically talking to herself but even so, it felt so fluid and real that if they didn't know the truth, they would have also fallen for that lie.
"We're friends… Yeah, close friends, but we are nothing more! Don't make up such things, even if I live with her right now, we are just friends, alright!?" The Grand Saintess who could read everyone's mind immediately rejected their ideas and defended herself but her words only caused an uproar, none of them expected that she was already living with Lucifer.
"Stop talking now… you'll only make it worse for yourself," Mio said as she then got close to her clone before whispering some gibberish stuff in her ear which caused another uproar.
Meanwhile, back in Mio's apartment. The glass of water that Alice was holding suddenly fell to the ground as she didn't expect that she would see a scene like that, she felt her heart shattering to pieces when she saw the flustered look of Mio on screen. Somi who watched everything couldn't help but sigh because she felt bad for her as she was left in the dark.
"Don't worry big sister Alice, she is lying. She lives here and this is her own home, she definitely doesn't have any feelings towards Lucifer. I'm sorry but I can't say everything to you because I don't want to upset and disappoint big sister Mio, but you don't have to worry. The only real rival that you have in winning her love is big brother Najin." Somi who couldn't bear to watch Alice cry herself patted her on the back before explaining some things to her, though she still didn't say everything as she knew that it was Mio's job to do that.
"What?"
"You heard what I said… your only love rival is big brother Najin. Because he was the one who had been pursuing her for more than a century already but nothing worked, I'm sure Auntie Solar already said it to you, but my big sister is extremely dense. Even denser than a black hole." Somi who was not afraid to talk behind Mio's back chuckled as she explained once more.
"Really? If that is the case, then that is good. But… why do you seem too supportive of me? Why are you helping me?" Alice asked as she wiped her tears before continuing.
"Since you already know that Uncle Najin is pursuing Mio's love, why are you not supporting him instead of me? He is a much greater person than me, meanwhile, I'm just some Principal at a school, plus I'm young compared who achieved nothing compared to him…" Alice suddenly starts questioning herself which stunned Somi.
Somi doesn't know what to do because she is a young girl who barely knows anything in something like this and just as she was panicking, she suddenly heard her Mom's voice in her head.
"Why did you comfort her when you knew that she was going to marry Yumie as soon as she set foot in the Immortal Realm?" Kurokami who was watching everything curiously asked her and being asked like this, Somi was shocked, but she still answered her Mom's question.
"I…. well. I think that big sister Alice is a better fit. I think Mom also knows that, plus you know how complicated big sister Yumie is Mom, I mean you know her better than me. She has someone already or rather she still has that person in her heart, so I don't think it is right to have her in an arranged marriage." Somi said what she thought of the matter and continued.
"But big sister Alice is different. I can see that her affection for Mio is clear and true, she really loved her, and I think she fell at first sight. Isn't that what happened to you with Mother? You also fell in love with her at first sight even though your first meeting isn't exactly a pleasant one. Don't you agree with me, Mom?" Somi questioned.
When Kurokami heard her daughter's words, she almost chocked on her tea as she didn't expect for her to know such information about her, especially her love story with Yuki.
"You're right… if that is what you think, then I'll trust your words. I'll relay those words to Yuki when she gets back, in the meantime you can comfort her in the best way you see possible." Kurokami said as she then cut the call, even though a few minutes had passed since Somi talked with her Mom, it was only a few seconds outside because of the Magic that she used.
"Do you think that my big sister will only pick a person based on their achievements, age, strength, and fame? Then you are showing me that your love is maybe too shallow because you don't trust her. I'll tell you this, she said this once to me when I was young…" Somi said as she took a deep breath before saying the exact words that Mio told her a few days ago.
"A person to love, huh? Well, that is certainly something I would want to happen, I'm still a woman you know, I also seek love. But right now I don't see anyone. I don't care who that person is, whether they have a big background or just someone living in the slums, if they can make me interested in them and possibly fall in love, then naturally I'll choose that person."
"She said that?" Alice asked with a tearful eye.
