"Yes! Everyone let's all have a party later when we are done with our shifts!" Yuko cheered as she almost cried in happiness, but it wasn't just her, it was everyone who had the same feeling. Because at the time when they made a mistake, all of them were nervous at that time but when they heard their boss's message to them, all of them basically cheered and even knelt on the ground.
When Mio heard all of them, she merely chuckled as she simply walked back towards the room she had left Somi for quite some time now, but if it wasn't for the ignorant men she met. But as she was walking she felt all of the stares of the people on her and because she couldn't handle them any longer, she stopped from entering before turning around to say something.
"None of you need to worry, you can do whatever you want. I won't care, even if you spread rumors of me being a bad person, I could hardly care. Because I already know that all of you know that I'm long retired. That is it, I hope all of you enjoy your night." Mio said before finally entering back to the room and when she disappeared from everyone's sight, only all of them could finally breathe properly as they were holding it in because of how terrifying Mio was in their eyes.
"She… she is so scary." Some of them muttered under their breath as they were simply too afraid to say it aloud as it might get heard by some staff or even the owner herself.
"Yeah… but just like she said. We don't need to worry since we didn't do anything to her, from what I know, she is a benevolent person. BUT! She doesn't take bullshit from anyone, which is what we just saw. I mean… Adam dug his grave and potentially his whole family's grave because of his stupidity." The same woman who laughed earlier with Adam's demise raised her voice.
"I'm just asking this as a pure curiosity, but why does it seem that you know so much about her? It even feels like you are close to her to the point where you are even defending her." A man asked as he turned towards the woman to wait for an answer. His question was in everyone's mind because they also felt the same after hearing how she talked.
"Of course… my family has deep roots with her. She is our biggest backer and I have met her a few times already, but of course, I don't know her personally, but what I know is she is very kind. It's just she doesn't handle bullshit from anyone which I completely understand, all of you should too. I mean a person who accepts bullshit from anyone is simply a retard." The woman answered and before anyone could say something else, she had already continued.
"If all of you are curious about who I am, let's just say that my family is connected to the Palace of Eternity~" The woman said and when those words came out of her mouth, everyone almost stood up in shock as they would have never expected to meet a bigshot like in Noir. Even the foreigners were too shocked because even if the Palace of Eternity was in Japan, its power was not just in Japan, it was in the whole world.
Aruebably, they are the strongest powerhouse that the world has to offer. So all of them were nervous and some were even terrified of the woman in front of them, as with a flick of a finger, she can destroy their entire family.
With that, everyone was finally quiet and all of them only had one thing in mind and that was to get out as fast as they could, when the woman saw this, she simply smiled before turning towards one of the staff and opening her mouth.
"Hey… do you think you can call the Manager for me? I want to see the Madam to greet and say my respects for her." She requested and when the waiter heard her, he hesitated for a few seconds before finally calling Yuko to speak to her.
"Miss Kora… I- I heard that you want to see the Madam. You know that I don't have any say in that, the only thing that I could do is to notify her to say that you want to meet her, as for whether she is actually willing to meet her will ultimately be on her." Yuko said with an apologetic tone.
Meeting Kora in Noir was a normal thing for her because just as Kora said, she was heavily tied with the Palace of Eternity, and since Noir is the one place that they get all of their food and ingredients to cook. She has met her and even knows Kora personally.
"Yes, I know. But even if she rejects me, at least I tried. That is the most important part." Kora just smiled as she knew what kind of request she was making, it was a hard one but not entirely impossible. Even if the chances are slim, she still wants to do it since it has been a couple of decades since she has last seen Mio.
"If that is what you wish, then please wait here." Yuko sighed as she braced herself and when she was finally ready, she knocked on the door when she heard a confirmation from the other side, she opened the door before entering. Kora was still not with her since it would be just disrespectful if she did.
"If you are going to ask me if I want to meet Kora, just let her in. I have heard your conversation outside. I don't know if you are forgetting, but I'm still a powerful fighter you know. So my senses are definitely enhanced." Mio said before Yuko could even say anything.
"I know that you are at the door, just get in here, little Kora. You don't have to be shy in front of me. It's not like you don't know me, you could have just entered yourself. You didn't need Yuko's help."
