Chapter 109 - Aunt Mio

When the two women heard it, they looked at each other before laughing. Yuko then finally excused herself as she was no longer needed there, but before she could take a step forward, Kora thanked to which she only shook her head and said that it was nothing and that it was a pleasure for her to help her.

"Madam Nanase-"

"Why are you calling me that, am I that distant to you?" Mio stopped her before she could continue and when Kora heard it, she tensed a little as she didn't expect this outcome, but even with all of the embarrassment that was building up inside her, she opened her mouth once more.

"Aunt… it's nice to see you again." Kora said with a light blush on her face and when Somi saw it she couldn't believe it, when she first saw Kora she had the impression that she was like Mio who was cold and indifferent, but it seemed that she was wrong. Now it seems that Kora was helpless against the woman in front of her. But she only finds it funny and cute at the same time.

"Now, why are you here? You're not here to ask for some pocket money, right? I mean your Idol Agency already reached in more than 200 million in revenue if I remember correctly." Mio asked playfully as she pointed to one of the sit so that Kora could sit, she then called one of the waiters again so that Kora could order some food for herself.

"No, I don't need any more food. I already ate and as for your words, thank you for the compliment, but that is not the reason that I'm here. You know that Aunt, you just said that so that you can embarrass me in front of her." Kora's face went redder as she was even more embarrassed by the fact that Mio kept teasing her. But she was secretly looking at Somi who had just stayed quiet the entire time.

"You don't have to worry about that, you know. She wouldn't care about something like that. So what is it little Kora, are you just really here to say your regards, or do you need something from me?" Mio asked as she stood up before patting Kora's head and when she did, she felt a nostalgic feeling. It had been so long since she had done something like that to her.

"No, I'm just truly here to visit you, Aunt. It's been five years since I last saw you, so missed you quite a lot." Kora said as she stood up before hugging Mio, the warmth that she had longed for so long had finally come back, and she just couldn't help but tighten the hug as she felt more of that same warmth that always put her to sleep when she was a child.

"You have truly grown so much, Kora." Mio just said before returning the hug at Kora and when she heard how she was called, tears couldn't help but well up in her eyes. This was her dream, to no longer be called little by her aunt, she was happy, but also sad at the same time, and it was because the warmth of how Mio always says her name was gone.

"Call me little again, Aunt. It feels kind of weird." Kora said as she just buried her face in Mio's chest and when she felt her clothes getting wet, Mio was stunned for a few seconds before whispering it to Kora, she then only felt the hug getting tighter.

"I can't help you now, you know? You're the one embarrassing yourself by crying in front of my little sister." Mio chuckled to ease up the atmosphere a little as she finally let go before grabbing some tissue to wipe the tears off of Kora's eyes.

But Kora just stayed silent as she let her Aunt wipe her face and when she was finally done she finally looked at Somi before opening her mouth to ask her something.

"Hello, my name is Kora, Alya Kora. I'm Aunt Mio's nephew, my Mother is the sister of Solar, who is my other Auntie." Kora smiled as she introduced herself to Somi and when the little girl finally realized that the woman was talking to her, she turned towards her to look at her, and when she finally saw her up close is when she only realized that there was actually some noticing similarities between her and Solar.

"It's nice to meet you, my name is Nanase Somi." At first, Somi wanted to shake Kora's hands because it was courtesy here, but in truth, she strangely felt comfortable with her around, she felt closer to Kora than she did with Xian'er. But because her hands were a little dirty from the food stains, she refrained herself as Kora might get mad because she just dirtied her hands.

But that didn't escape Kora's eyes, so without saying anything and hesitation at all, she grabbed Somi's hands before holding them gently in her hands to Somi's surprise.

"Little Somi, you don't have to worry so much about, Kora. She is a good girl, she's just a little troublesome. But I promise you that you can trust her like how you trust me. I'm saying this because, at one point, she is just like you." Mio said as she just smiled at the two feeling happy that the two were accepting each other like it was nothing. At first, she initially thought that Kora would be a little jealous, but it seemed that she was looking down on her too much.

"Yeah, I was actually blind when I was a child. But thanks to some miracle and Aunt never giving up on me, I managed to be cured. So I'm sure that the same thing will happen to you, little sister. You will definitely be cured and when you begin to see things, I hope that I will be one of the first people that you can see." Kora just smiled as she placed one of Somi's hands on her cheeks as she felt a little emotional.

She was not lying when she said that, she was truly blind when she was a little girl. Almost everyone gave up on her, except for Mio. That is why she has such a deep connection with Mio and she wouldn't let anyone disrespect her in any way, she will not hesitate to put them down if she has to. Because she sees Mio as more than just an Aunt, she is more of a Mother figure to her than her own Mother.

"I see… thank you for your prayers. That is also what I'm hoping for." Somi showed a smile and when Kora saw it, she felt as if her heart was melting.
