EPISODE 303; THE RUPTURING; THE HOUSE OF SOARING LION TURTLES PART VII; PUTTING THE SHADES TO FLIGHT; ZANFAR'S THREAT PART II
Saito and Jeannette, Ariel and Marina were in Jeannette and Marina's lab. Ariel appeared to be very busy with a project.
"We've finally reclaimed the Ocean and driven the Weaver Of Calamity's Sea Serpent Scouts away" Saito said.
"Yeah, but the problem hasn't been remedied just yet" Ariel said.
"The Shades huh?" Saito realized.
"If they continue to obstruct the Sunlight, they will eventually cause the Ocean Temperature to drop rapidly potentially triggering an Ice Age" Ariel explained.
"Whoa, it seems the problem is much worse than we initially anticipated" Saito realized.
"Fortunately, I've been working on a new formula that is sure to drive the Shades away" Ariel said.
"Really?" Saito asked.
"The Weaver Of Calamity's Army is certainly vulnerable to the purifying effect of the Phoenix Tears. It seems he is trying to come up with a workaround solution to that problem" Ariel said.
"You're right. Initially, the Weaver Of Calamity resorted to attacking us either with his Army Of Nightmares or by eliminating the resources we depend on for Survival. Though this attack against our House is of the Second Category, he is now resorting to large Scale Terrain Alteration Attacks meant to cripple the effects of the Phoenix Tears" Saito realized.
"The Phoenix Tears have been keeping his Army in check by limiting the Terrain his Forces can occupy and this is often how our people have been outwitting his Forces however it seems he has finally realized that he can no longer afford to underestimate the Phoenix Tears. This attack in particular is an attack on the Phoenix Tears' purifying ability and he appeared to have gambled on the assumption that we had become overly reliant on the Phoenix Tears" Ariel said.
"So what is this new formula you're working on?" Saito asked.
"It's a vapourized variation of the Phoenix Tears. First I introduced my Blaze to the Phoenix Tears within the Marine Water. It appears to absorb my Blaze and transform the Energetic Properties Of My Blaze into a Chemical Formula encoded within the Phoenix Tears' Molecular makeup. I captured this variation of the Phoenix Tears within Pressurized Tanks thanks to Marina. Now I'm going to release this Blaze Variation Of The Phoenix Tears into the air on the surface. Since the Phoenix Tears are impervious to the effects of dilution, I'm counting on their ability to fuse with the Natural Air. This should cause the Phoenix Tears to replicate rapidly till the Global Atmosphere is rich in Phoenix Tears effectively driving the Weaver Of Calamity's forces not only from the Oceans but from the Surface World as well. I'd like to see him get around that" Ariel chuckled sinisterly.
"I thought the Hippocratic Oath forbids you from taking any actions that endanger life" Saito sighed.
"Technically, I'm still an apprentice" Ariel said with a sinister laugh and continued to mix her formula.
A WEEK LATER…
The Scientists of the Soaring Lion Turtle House loaded the Tanks into Unmanned Submarine Vehicles and sent the vehicles to the surface just as the Soaring Lion Turtle House prepared to migrate from their current location to avoid being discovered by the Weaver Of Calamity's Forces. They couldn't afford to have the Submarines give away the location of the Soaring Lion Turtle House once they surfaced.
"Ariel, I know you said you were an apprentice before but…" Saito sighed.
"I know what you are going to say and I'm not changing my mind. The Weaver Of Calamity should benefit from some clean air. That's his payment for fouling our Oceans" Ariel said.
"Scary" Saito drew back in horror.
"When the Submarines finally surfaced, they released the Tanks into the Ocean Water. The Tanks were set to release the Vapourized Phoenix Tears the moment they detected Atmospheric Oxygen. The contents spread rapidly through the Air on the surface. The Shades began to weaken rapidly to the point of paralysis and immediately summoned Portals thus exiting the World Of XCalibur AOP 2 for the Abyss within the Eternal Mirror's Omega Gate. The Sky began to clear up moments later as the Clouds slowly dissipated.
"With this move I'd say we just claimed a massive advantage" Ariel said.
MEANWHILE WITHIN THE ABYSS OF THE ETERNAL MIRROR GATE…
Zanfar was furious.
"Tell me why it is you felt the need to retreat from the task I assigned you to!" he roared as his eyes blazed threateningly at the Shades.
"Forgive us milord. All we know is that our power suddenly began to weaken rapidly making it harder for us to sustain our forms within the Dream Knight's Virtual World" the Shades reported.
"I see…the two Daughters of the Dreamweaver must have released Phoenix Tears into the atmosphere" Zanfar realized.
"With this move they have practically reclaimed both the Oceans and the Surface World" the Shades said.
Zanfar began to chuckle sinisterly.
"What's so funny milord? This shouldn't be good news. It is quite a grave predicament for us all" the Shades said.
"Perhaps for you…but not for me. So they would dare to force my hand would they? It will still take a while for my Tails to fully regenerate and reclaim the level of strength they attained roughly Twenty Six Years ago. Fine then…just this once, I will directly intervene" Zanfar said as his eyes glowed threateningly.
MEANWHILE WITHIN THE OCEANS…
Ariel and Saito as well as the people of the Soaring Lion Turtle House celebrated their victory. Suddenly, a loud voice thundered throughout the World Of XCalibur AOP 2 as the Sky began to darken ominously.
"Hear me you Dream Knights! I am fully aware of your pitiful attempts to contain my power within this World you created. While your offspring…your successors toiled within this world to diminish my influence, you my adversaries simultaneously launched attacks on my Forces within the Dream and Real Worlds utilizing the data they generated. You call this level of your efforts 'the Rupturing' and I will now tell you it is indeed a fitting name. That…was not an error in your judgement for the countdown to your demise just started. Once your successors reclaim Olympus and that is only if they do succeed, I will grant you just one moment of respite to prepare as much as you can in your pitiful attempts to overthrow me…but when you finally make it to the National Level Of The Sigil Enhancement Program…you will finally understand why even the Dream King once lived in in fear of me…such great fear that he would even threaten the life of his grandson…the Dreamweaver!" Zanfar's voice thundered throughout the World Of XCalibur AOP 2! "So the countdown finally begins!" Zanfar roared.
All of us listened to his threat very patiently with full knowledge that our parents and the Dream Knights were also paying attention. All of a sudden, huge barriers of Energy fell into the Ocean and the access points of our lands completely cutting our lands off from one another. Our teams were now completely isolated from one another.
"You can still attempt to reclaim Olympus if you want…if you dare!" Zanfar roared.
"Ariel…I think you just made the Weaver Of Calamity mad" Saito said.
"Let him throw a tantrum all he wants. It just means he's getting desperate" Ariel shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly.
