We stepped into another Great Hall resembling the first. There we met my uncle, Mitsuki's Dad, Prince Asante.
"Uncle Prince!" Saito greeted.
"Dad!" Mitsuki greeted.
"You finally made it here. Congratulations. It was very perceptive of you to realize that Time affects all Living Beings even if they can't all control Time seeing as you are all present" Prince said.
"Actually, that was thanks to Mitsuki" Arlene said.
"Then let's get started shall we?" Prince said.
We nodded.
"The first thing you should know about Time is that some aspects of Time are defined, regulated and sustained through Galactic Motion" Prince said.
"Some aspects? Does this mean there are aspects of Time that are not determined by Galactic Motion?" I asked.
"You're very perceptive San. Yes, this is true. A great fraction of Time perceived and utilized by Living Beings is determined by Galactic Motion however there are aspects of Time that are determined by other factors but for now let's take things slowly" Prince said.
I nodded.
"Aspects of Time determined by Galactic Motion include Day and Night, Months and Years as well as Seasons" Prince said.
We paid close attention.
"The Revolution Of The Moon around the Earth for instance determines Day and Night. When this Revolution is coupled with the Revolution Of The Earth around the Sun, Months, which are determined by the Lunar Cycle can be counted as well as Years which are determined by a complete Revolution of the Earth around the Sun or simply put the Revolution Of Planets around the Sun. These factors also determine Seasons" Prince said.
"I see" Keiran said.
It appeared he was focused on the lesson.
"There are aspects of Time all Living Beings experience alike. These aspects include Day and Night, Months and Years. However, though we all experience these aspects of Time, we do not necessarily experience them similarly or simultaneously. The Earth as you know is vast and is thus divided into 'Time Zones' via its longitudes and latitudes. As such, though we all experience Day and Night, we do not all experience this aspect of Time simultaneously. While some parts of the Earth are in Daytime, others are experiencing Nighttime and this experience alternates depending on one's location. Even with regard to days, some parts of the Earth may be a Day ahead or behind others. This phenomenon is mostly determined by a person's geographical location on the Earth. The implication of this knowledge is that a person can 'buy' or 'lose' Time depending on their path across the Earth. Leaving that aside, there is also the experience of Seasons which also alternates depending on one's location on the Earth. The Poles for instance are typically in a perpetual state of Winter, the rest of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres typically experience Four Seasons while the most of if not all parts of the Equator typically experience Two Seasons adding up to a total of Seven Variations Of Seasons depending on one's location in three different Seasonal Zones Of The Earth. This phenomenon rightly connotes that all Living Beings experience some aspects of Time universally while some aspects of Time are experienced uniquely" Prince explained.
"That's pretty amazing!" Ciella seemed excited.
"However, what I've just explained are merely physiological experiences of Time. The experience of Time isn't limited to a Physiological Experience. There are Social and many other contexts of Time depending on the relevance of Time to each of these contexts" Prince explained.
We nodded and paid close attention.
