28 Mei 2078 at an apartment somewhere on earth. A young adult with dark brown hair was sitting in front of his personal computer while he was wasting away watching some 3rd rated movies and reading some 3rd rated novels.
All his life, he always views everything around him lightly. There's a reason for that though, and that's because of his 'Future Glimpse" ability. This ability allowed him to peek into the future. Although the activation time is random, he manages to use it to earn a few million dollars with the lottery.
At first, his parents were happy because of how lucky he was but over time, as he started to turn even lazier his parents started to stop caring about him. Everyone in his life started to leave him one by one and no one cares about what happened to him anymore except for one person.

Yes, except for one person.
"Alaaaaaan wake up!! It's already 1 PM and you are still sleeping?!"
A high-pitched voice comes from behind the door. The young man, Alan, walks to the door lazily. As he opened the door, he was about to answer the door when something suddenly happened.
*Boom
Lightning struck him right in the head.
The moment that the lightning struck him, memories and emotions came flooding in. The memories keep on coming inside his head and he felt like his head was about to burst. He screamed at the top of his lungs while he kept banging his head on the wall beside him.
Although he got hit by lightning, the lightning itself is ethereal so, no one would notice that he got hit by lightning. The girl in front of the door was dumbfounded and hurriedly tried to stop him.
"Alan what happened?! Stop it! you're gonna hurt your head! Stop that! Stop banging your head!!" panicked, the girl ran straight to the living room and took the couch's pillow, and put the pillow in front of his head every time it was about to hit the wall.
This situation continues for a whole 3 minutes. After that, Alan loses consciousness. Looking at the young man in front of her, the girl, while still gasping for breath, tried her best to move him into the living room and put him on the couch.
At this moment, various memories keep on replaying inside the young man's head. As the memories kept on replaying, a shadow showed up inside his consciousness. It was unknown when this shadow started to show up. The moment Alan started to recognize the shadow, it suddenly speaks
"What did you think about this world?" while it continues to form slowly
"Worthless. Nothing is interesting. Everything is mundane. It's like I'm living inside a" before Alan managed to finish his sentence, the shadow continues it.
" … dream, right? Then, what do you think about this world now that you have already seen those memories?" with a smirk, the shadow asks him.
"This world is fucking mad," Alan said with a voice full of disgust and indignation
"Right… what you say about this world is right. This world is going mad or at least it will be in two days." The shadow says while he nods his head.
He then continues "This world will be so messed up that it would be better to just kill ourselves right now but, will you kill yourself after you understand what happened in the future?"
"No! I won't! it's okay for me to die, but Liz. That girl, she must not die. At least not as long as I'm still alive!" Alan took one step forward as he said that.
"Then, you do understand that if you get yourself killed there's more than a 99% chance that she will end her life too right? So, what will you do?" the shadow continues to ask as he becomes a clearer image of Alan.
"Then I won't die, this time, I will be sure to do my best to make sure that Liz is safe and sound," Alan says as his eyes flashed with a resolute resolve inside them.
"Good! If that's the case, I will not take over your body. I will just stay here and always watch over you." The shadow says as he clapped his hand twice *clap *clap and makes a black vortex appear on his hand
"I will let you take all of these memories, after all, your class after awakening will be a shit class so, of course, you will need these memories to be powerful enough to protect Liz." The shadow says as he sends the black vortex to Alan and starts to disappear.
"Okay! I will make sure that you won't be disappointed in leaving the future to me!" Alan says as he puts his hand in front of his right chest.
"Ahahaha you don't have to worry my bro, after all, I am you, and I know everything about you. It's also possible for me to take over your body the moment you mess up." the shadow said lightly.
"By the way, you have to fix the way you say your promise, that was embarrassing." The shadow laughs before he completely disappears.
A few moments after Alan finished his talk with the shadow in his consciousness, he started to open his eyes. When he opens his eyes, he can feel a piercing gaze directed at him from his right.
The one who stared at him right now is Aliza, his childhood friend that stays with him all the way even until he was killed in his previous life. Aliza was a beautiful woman with blue eyes and black hair. Her face still looked as if she was in her teens even though she was already 22 like me.
"So? What happened to you? Suddenly banging your head like that. I…. I was so afraid, you know! It was so scary! Just… What happened to you?? If… you are gone, I don't even want to think about what I will do." Liz says as she tries to wipe the tears that keep on flowing.
"It's all fine now, Liz. I'm sorry for scaring you like that." Alan says as he reaches out his hand and starts to stroke Liz's head.
"Really? Promise me you won't do something crazy like that again," Aliza says with upturned eyes.
"Mhm! I promise! I, Alan Viktor Gren promise to Aliza that I will never do something stupid like that ever again" I say as I put my hand in front of my right chest and said that solemnly.
"Geez, what are you doing Alan, that was some 8th-grader stuff! How embarrassing!" Liz said giggling
After that, they started to joke a little and when Alan felt that the gloomy mood is already somewhat lifted, he suddenly says with a very serious expression on his face
"Liz, do you trust me?" Alan said as he looked straight into Liz's eyes.
"Why are you suddenly so serious? Of course, I trust you!" Liz answered with hands on her hips.
She then continues "Even if you are the world's most untrustworthy man, I would still trust you! Why do you think I stick around you for more than a dozen years?" Liz said with a blooming smile on her face.
"Ahahaha now that I think about it, that's true." Agreeing with her, Alan nodded his head.
He puts on a serious face again and says "Then Liz, will you trust me if I said that the reason I keep on banging my head before was that I suddenly got knowledge about the future?" Alan continues with a serious look on his face.
"Maybe if it's someone else, they won't believe you, but it's me, Aliza. Of course, I believe you. After all, you don't like pain so it would be impossible for you to fake that kind of thing," Liz answered with a gentle smile on her face.
"I'm so blessed to have you by my side, Liz."
Alan says as he turns his vision to his right corner. There, he saw his status window. Something that was supposed to appear after the world turned crazy. In his status window, there are a few lines that read
