"Let's start eating; I'm hungry," Rano said while asking the waiter to get him rice and side dishes.
Claudia smiled sweetly and spooned Alva some rice, but Kana's voice stopped her.
"Sorry in advance, Claudia. However, Grandpa has a history of diabetes, so I've asked the waiter to prepare the brown rice earlier," Kana interrupted.
Alva was stunned. Did Kana pay attention to that detail? Even Claudia, whom he often called to tell her about his illness and diet, seemed to have forgotten that Alva had been eating brown rice.
"Says who? Grandpa usually eats white rice. You don't need to be so pretentious; I've been taking care of Grandpa all this time," Claudia replied with a sinister smile.
Rano and Damian glanced at each other meaningfully; this time Claudia was wrong.
'What an evil and empty-brained woman!' thought the father and son almost at the same time.
