Chapter 77 - Chapter 77: meeting of war

2 days quickly passed with mine and my allies armies growing fast Era wasted no time in sending the recording of me back to her people and caravans of monsters have been showing up most was ogre's, scaled one like my self, kobolds and a few Aarakocra hell even some dwarf sell swords joined my tribe there excuse was fuck the emperor and her rules they value there freedom and the right to say whatever the fuck they want so I now had about 15000 troops and that rumber raised by the day especially sense Dusk just came back with news on the location I sent her to scout out all the big members in my tribe was sitting around the round table in my room Shosa and Mesh was on my left and right with there second in command next to them was Gimli and Stream and lastly the Era and the duke sat across from me Echo was standing next to her father plus there was 3 other seats that had the new races leaders in them but we will get to those momentarily in front of us was a huge war map that showed 12 red flags heading are way from the east northeast this was the human armies they was using the already established roads to make travel easier and any town or city that they came across was promptly destroyed the humans raping, plundering and slottering the elves that was in it but places slightly to the far left of this army was 4 green flags these was the elven army that had moved out to stop stop these humans but the emperor was a damn fool he was sending his troops to there deaths Stream is perfectly ok with us killing her father and we place her in charge of her people but one step at a time but placed on top of this war map was my smaller magical map Dusk tapped my map and the image of the slave camp appeared and it was as I thought low hanging stone walls with barbed wire at the top of it there was 4 towers placed on each corner of the square walls but what drow my attention was the housing and stuff inside of the walls there was wood houses placed close by the towers these houses had barbed wire fences surrounding their wall in the center if this camp was stone huts but what cot my eye was the fighting pit this wasnt an enslavement camp but a gladiator camp but to be honest there wasnt much of a difference between the two sense gladiators both are and where slaves just slaves with some benefits that could be stripped away at any time there master wishes but the biggest differents is these slaves was trained in combat a huge grin spread across my face as I looked to Stream asking you said your people us monsters as training dummies and enslaved soldiers right she nodded yes there are 4 camps similar to this one placed around are kingdom I nodded asking my next question how many personnel do these camps house she looked to the map looking it over thinking over my question and she looked back to me sying 100 guards, 100 archers, 50 slavers and about 300 slaves but that number grows by the day seeing how more and more arrive another thing you should note that each camp is gender oriented the one you see here has male slaves there is one other male camp and the other two are female camps I frowned hearing that but it wasnt I who asked the question it was Greckles the leader of the Aarakocra he in particular had beautiful dark blue feathers hell he was named after a common Greckles for good reason he had on dark blue robes and on his back was a strange glowing short sword that had a long straight edge and the crossguard had a bright yellow gem that pulsated with the suns light but on the back of his belt there was two daggers his huge wings was folded on his back he spoke in a light kind voice but his expression definitely didn't reflect his mind voice he had a angry bird like snarl as he stared at Stream with bright gold eyes what about the children he asked silence fell the table as Stream stared at the map she had a cold expression but we all could see the edge of her mouth twitching and the dark sad look she had in her eyes Greckles slammed a talent fist onto the table yelling answer my question elf what of the children Gimli snarled hearing Greckles shout so he spat back bird do not speak to Stream like that she isnt to be blamed for her fathers actions Greckles huffed this is when someone else from the other seats scoffed this was a shart red scaled creature that had huge ears her had on basic scale mail armor and on her back was a bow and resting over her head was a helmet that allowed his ears to both stick out the top of it and move around she had dark purple eyes that she used to glare at Stream this was the leader of the kobolds her name was Solly and boy was she a firecracker dont let her small frame fool you not only was she deadly with a bow but if you get a sword in her hands she is even more terrifying a women after my own heart we got along right away after I beat her in single combat it was quite fun the little she-dragon put up one hell of a fight out side of me she was probably the most experienced warrior we had she had been fighting against the elves for over 20 years now and all though she never won she never lost either that should speak volumes of this womens capabilities Solly shook her head clicking her tongue saying shut it dwarf you only have a soft spot for her cuz you wish to be her mate not only that your words are foolish of course we can blame her for her fathers actions not only are we talking about her father but she is the crowned princess she could have at least tried to stop her fathers plans and actions but she didn't hell she did more then that she completely ignored what her father was doing those who would ignore the cries of not only the innocent but ignore what her father was doing to her own people are even worse then the emperor himself so girl answer the damn question Solly asked as her eyes fell into Stream who at this point was shaking she still had her cold expression but I seen tears start to form Gimli angrily slammed a hand onto the table yelling what the fuck was she supposed to do go against her father if she did that she would have been killed she had no other choice but to turn her head but this is when the leader of the dwarf mercenaries slammed his staff onto the ground and a familiar old wise voice spoke young Gimli you still got much to learn there is always a choice she could have tried to do something even if she died at least she could face her ancestors with her head raised high knowing what she had done was the right thang to do Gimli turned to the sores of this voice his angry expression fading slightly as he spoke with respect no offense elder Stone but ant you being to hash on her the old dwarf Stone who was the leader of the stone shield mercenary group this old man not only had skilled Smiths under his ranks but 200 dwarven heavy bregade ones he heard that I was recruiting he came to me and swear him and his family to my tribe at the moment I was using his family to build arms and armor for my troops every one of the smiths in his family was at the legendary or master rank so I didn't have to worry about the rank of the item Stone shook his head saying young Gimli you need to realize that your girl family and kingdom have a very dark history if you are to rule over both elves and dwarfs you have to understand both the good and the bad aspects of both worlds we all nodded at the old mans words Gimli seeing all of are nods looked  down at the map to think over the old daarf words but I looked to Stream asking in a gentle voice Stream I need to know what happens to the children this is to prepare for the future Stream looked up into my eyes this is when her cold expression disappeared and she started to cry silently after a few moments of her crying she finally spoke in a shaking voice I um ant fully sure Azmo but and she gulped and looked down in shame as she spoke many of the kobolds, Aarakocra eggs are used as food wall the ogre children they are um well the male ogre are either killed or sold wall the female ogre's are sent to the red light districts and sexual slavers who will race them till there ready as for the scaled ones children they was all destroyed wall your man used as training partners and your women used as food for beasts when I heard this before anyone could do anything my killing intent exploded out from me and pressed down on them all as I hissed they did fucking what Echo was on the ground gasping for air wall the duke couldn't even lift a finger wall Gimli and Stream could barely move there arms and lift there heads wall Mesh, Greckles, Solly, and Valdora was effected but not much there movements was slower but that's it the only people that weren't affected by my killing intent were Shosa for obviously Stone the old man simply stroked his gray beard like nothing was happening and Era who gripped the shaft of her hammer which was leaning against her chair tightly I am sorry Stream collapsed onto the ground breathing hard Era yelled Azmo control your self for fucks sake your killing the girls I looked to Echo and controlled my killing intent so it didn't affect her the moment the wight on her lifted she took a deep breath of air after a few seconds of breath hard she sat up looking to my a bit of fear in her eyes but more then that I seen respect shining in those eyes I side looking to her saying sorry little one it wasn't my intent to test your will power Echo shook her head no need master Azmo anyone would have done the same if they was in your situation hell I probably would have killed whoever said such a think I chuckled and looked to the duke saying it would seem your daughter is growing up sorry about that he chuckled no need it was bound to happen I nodded this is when Era yelled Azmo the Stream I side and looked to stream who was breathing hard on the ground but she was staring at me with tearful eyes but I shook my head my tail shaking behind me as it shook a slight raddling noise came from it sort of like a raddle snake Stream it isn't me who you need to apologize to no the ones who you should apologize to is all the people in these camps and all those who have died do to you kingdom you can not run from this problem and nothing you can do will change your peoples history so and I lifted my killing intent the women breathing in relief I glared at her and hissed so focus on the things you can change your father hasn't sent word back to me and I am tired of waiting so from here on your the empress if you want return to your people and get as many of them as you can on your side Gimli will go with you and I will give you some of my troops but and a ruthless snarl spread across my face as my eyes flickered if you betray us no if the weeks to come she nodded but this is when the door to my room was thrown open and Brencen and one of Grackles Aarakocra stormed into the room the Duke turned around with a frown saying Brencen this better be good we was in a private meeting Brencen bowed in front of him saying I am sorry sir this is urgent the Aarakocra walked around the table and sank to a knee next to me he had dark brown feathers like a Hock he had on blue and gold robs with a chest plate on and on his back was a long spear and on his hip was a chain flail he spoke master Azmo I have urgent news I nodded raise your head Vax and speak he nodded and raised his head and looked into my eyes with his dark green eyes as he spoke as you wish master I followed your orders and I had scouted the human armies I nodded good what did you see he shook slightly but it wasnt fear for the reason he was shaking no that was rage I waved my hand and in the corner on a side table some hard liquor was poored into two glasses and they flew towards me I cot one and offered him one saying take it and drink then tell me what you seen he took the glass gratefully and downed half of the glass when he lowered it his eyes was clear and his body farm I nodded seeing this sir what I seen could only be described as barbaric they are a army over 30,000 I seen 5 different banners all with different types of strange crosses and if that wasnt bad enough they have carts of these crosses and haninging on them is people many of them look elven but I noticed there was quite a few humans also these carts was being pulled by elves and humans who get whipped by men with crosses on there chest as for armor plate and chainmail mostly and weapons very from short sword and shield or longsword, axes and spears I did see a few war hammers but not many they also have a platoon of boomstick wielders but in the center of this army is a bigger cross on it is a man with skin as black as midnight and hair as white as snow on his back was almost plucked wings that had gold feathers carved into this man chest was the image of a spear thrusting into either a sun or a star I heard a man in full plate armor with red cloth over it yell take this Brightstar as he whipped the poor man but the biggest thing of note would be the army chant Deus vult! When I heard that chant and that name I broke out in laughter Deus vult a hahaha magnificent haha and I took a long swig from my glass downing half of the glass as I got up patting Vax shoulder saying thank you for this magnificent news Vax and I walked to the window laughing they all looked at each other with confused looks the only person who didn't have a confused look was Gimli he had a pale face and wide eyes as he kept on mumbling Deus vult! , Deus vult!, Deus vult! no it can't be Era looked at Gimli with a worried expression honey what is wrong what does those words Deus vult mean but it wasn't Gimli who answered her question I did as I looked at the glass in my hand saying Deus vult it is Latin for god wills it but it isn't the words that is making him shake o no its the order who uses this chant they all looked at each other confused still who the duke asked I finished downing the glass before I turned around a few of them gasped seeing my bright blowing eyes and my ruthless snarl as I hissed Crusaders aka fucking Templar and I crushing the glass in my hand I felt a few shards dig into my hand but I didn't care I clinched my hands tightly as I walked back to the table Greckles asking Templar knights what do you know of these so called knight Azmo and how do you know I side and sank back into my chair shrugging I haven't kept this a secret from any of your neither has Gimli we was both reborn into this world by our own wishes the old world we was from was dying do to a few stupid gods and there children amongst those problems was the Templar knights who wanted nothing more to wipe us children of the gods off the planet I know them cuz I am the people who lead the first battle against them and it was I who lead a posse of half-bloods across our content waging a war against them it was I the death walker and my wife the blood devil who they most feared towards the end of the first war against them a army came nocking to one of my hidden bases and leading this army was an angel child by the name Aasimar Brightstar this man was a fearsome leader and a damn good warrior it took all I had to fight him but sadly are dual got interrupted by one of brightstar very own troops appearing behind him and stabbing him in the back this man and I made a promise we would be friends in are next life or another time before he passed on and I sent his soul to the afterlife where I hoped his next life he could be at peace but it would seem not if that man really is the BrightStar I know but the reason Gimli is scares is cuz the Templars chased him and all those in his tribe for 5 years he watched as they burned one home to another but not just that he watched his friends, siblings and students be butchered by the Templars hear me yall and take my words to heart these knights will stop at nothing to kill you and your people they will burn your towns, rape your woman before killing them and slotter your man not just that they us scratched earth tactics if they can't bring it with them they will simply burn it to the ground I wouldn't be surprised if the towns have already hit has been raised to the ground I stood up looking at them all as I spoke this next part is to my tribes man I do not care what they say or do none of them will survive even if they surrender we slotter them all am I understood they all stood up and slammed a hand onto there chest yelling gods with us sir I chuckled nodding good know Solly we will be meeting the army here and I pointed to a huge open field I want you and your people to dig a trench more do you think you can do that a huge draconic grin spread across her face as she stood up on her chair yelling sir we can do more then that if you give us the explosives and other such things we will make there lives a living hell before they even get to is I nodded do not get cot yalls safety is more important to me then killing a few Templars work with Stone to get what you need she nodded and Stone bowed next I looked to Shosa saying big guy its time you show me what you have learned you are to take your unit and take this camp I will allow you to take 20 of Mesh members but that's it show me what you got he nodded and slammed a hand to his chest yelling I wont let you down Azmo I will bring back those captives I nodded I know you will big guy I looked to Mesh saying Mesh i want you and your unit to keep training under Harriet but also go out and capture beasts and collect as much good as you can she nodded it will be done I nodded and looked to Greckles and Vax who was standing behind him Greckles I want you to continue your training but also send out scouts I want to know what are enemies are doing o this reminds me and I flicked my hand and appearing in front of them all was a storage bracelet and a ear peace put them on I said they all did I then brought a hand to my ear and channeled my magic into it and spoke in my head testing one two can talk hear me they all gasped hearing me voice in there heads but before they could do anything I continued to speak yes, yes I am talking in your head all you got to do is channel your magic into the ear peace and think about who you want to talk to this could be multiple people or just one in your bracelets are many other bracelets and a few other ear peaches only give them to people in command if we have to many people using these things communication will be all mixed together so this is easier they all nodded I then looked to Greckles saying I also want you to find out where the supplies carriages are coming from and lastly if you get the change save that man called brightstar Greckles brought a hand to his head and responded rager that master I nodded meeting adjourned time to continue the new recruits training and I cracked my fingers many of them started to sweat hearing my words sense they all have or are experiencing what I meant by those words .
