Asher was lying in his bed scrolling his phone, while looking at Roxana social media account, which she doesn't update much.
He looked at her photos and thought of the photos he had snapped while she was gazing at the lake.
He click his gallery which doesn't has much photos and save her image as his background. Her back view looked so serene and enchanting.
'I kind of miss her now', he thought inside his head.
'Maybe I should call her', he thought again.
''When did I begin to doubt myself, if I want to call her I should her, that it", he chided himself.
He search for her number and quickly call her, her phone rang for a bit,as soon the call connected he heard a soft female voice.
"Hello"
"Roxana"
Roxana was stunned when she heard his voice, his voice is cold like always, she even find it more surprising that he will even call her.
"Yes? "
"What are you doing? " he asked her.
"well", there was a slight hesitation in her voice, " I just had a bath".
He just said, " hmm".
Their call got awkward, therefore she question him, "So, Why did you call me? "
"I just want to talk to you" he said in a casual voice.
"Can I? " he asked again .
"You can", Roxana replied blushingly.
knock! knock!
She nearly jumped out of bed when she hear the the knock. She quickly throw her phone on her bed.
" Ro, Can I come in? " Rian voice can be heard from outside the door of her room.
She quickly cleared her throat, "Yes, come in"
Rian came in, in his casual clothes wearing a white lose shirt and a sweatpants, but still looking handsome.
"Hey, Ray and Kai are organizing an outing this weekend".
" Do you want to join us? " he asked her.
"I'm not sure if I'm free this weekend", she said hesitatingly, " Can I think about it first? "
"Of course", he yawn ," ok, I'm going back to my room".
He playfully pinches her cheek and said, "Goodnight Ro" and quickly rushed out.
" Ouch... my cheeks, I hope you had a bad night!" she glared at him and shouted at Rian.
"Hahaha", Rian laughter can be heard outside her room.
Roxana gently slap her cheek, when suddenly she remember her phone and quickly pick it up. She saw the call was still on, she thought he would have hang up.
" Hello"
"Are you there? "
"hmmm", he hummed
Roxana heard his cold and husky voice that it made heart beat faster. She felt amazed everytime she heard his cold voice ang got used to it, it didn't even matter when he talk coldly to her.
"Have you had dinner?" she tried to initiated when he didn't say anything. He chuckled at her question.
She felt strange when she heard his low chuckled.
"I don't eat dinner", he casually said.
" Oh"
'Weird', she thought in her heard, but didn't asks him. 0
The call got awkward again when he didn't say anything else and she didn't know what to talk to him. They were both silence for almost a minute until she heard him speak in a command tone, "Don't go with them".
" Huh ", Roxana was bewildered for a moment until she realised his words.
" Why? " she question him back.
"I want to meet you on the weekend", he answered.
He continues, " Can you not go? ", his voice sound cold like always but this time it sound a bit desperate.
Asher was really desperate, he really didn't want her to go, if she agreed to go it means she might meet Brian and Brian know about them, he afraid she might even avoid him again like last time if she found out about him from Brian.
Until he heard Roxana says "Ok, his heart feel relieved.
" Ok it late, you should sleep", he said warmly.
"Goodnight Roxana"
"Goodnight Asher"
Roxana didn't understand why she agreed, every single time she found herself agreeing to everything he said, it just like he captivated, her heart, her soul and body.
