Via was unto Simon just as he was unto her at this point, both of them locked unto each other like two bulls in confrontation.
We are taken to the past once more, we can see Halanda enjoy the fullness of her new feat and title as the head of the Zaruci's army.
Zaruci was the apple of her father's eyes and thus he ensured that no harm came unto her.
Halanda knew she had to prove her worth in the never-ending war between the Tondos and the Hitmen of Rar.
And that was exactly what she did, after being welcomed by King Onorra and given the rules and laws that guide the sacred warriors.
She began to strategize and plan on how to win the princess's heart as that was the only way to win her over and take over her body through the ritual of the vial of dawn.
Her opportunities came not too long afterward as several battles arose shortly after, with men falling and Halanda(in Gilk's body) leading the men to victory and conquest.
She went further to conquer more battles and have the head of their greatest adversaries on a platter for the king.
The head warrior of the Hitmen of Rar, Zadoski and often threatened the Tondo warriors by taking them to extinction.
This catapulted Halanda's popularity and reputation all across the land and even nearby lands heard about this feat.
Zaruci however was a bit of a hard nut to crack, this was because she could see through people.
To an extent, she could tell some things were not right with Halanda.
She knew nothing about her background and realized she was a stranger from far away.
Halanda(in Gilk's body) used her knowledge of magic to her advantage.
This was how she was able to bring Zadoski down, and take his head out.
Zadoski had been a man who tried to woe Zaruci once and got rejected.
This made him spiteful and it made him so bitter that he decided to train to join the enemy to get back at her.
Through consistency, He worked his way to become the head warrior of the Hitmen of Rar.
He was so efficient and effective at his job that Katoroth made him an ally.
Onorra would not back down and neither would his elder brother Katoroth.
So both lands kept on fighting for many years, with drops of blood being spilled and several men cut into halves as they fall.
Katoroth knew what was in stock for him and he was not ready to back down.
Their father whom he murdered was a man called King Spaj.
A highly influential and prosperous king in his lifetime.
The Tondos kingdom was a force to be reckoned with during his reign.
Money flowed into the lands and they were triumphant on the battlefield.
However, there was a stark contrast between his two boys.
While Onorra was loved by all and sundry and uploaded his father's legacy.
Katoroth was very profligate with spending, he was a spendthrift and a heavy bettor.
He also loved to spend time with the women of easy virtue, to the point that he married three of them.
During one of his shenanigans, he impregnated a certain lady called Sodie who was of noble birth, and got her killed.
By giving her a poisonous potion he traveled to a far distant land to purchase.
The potion led to complications in her body system and this led to her death.
Katoroth went ahead to bury her with the help of his cat's paw, an assembly of followers called the unison.
These men would later become the most deadly fierce warriors known as the Hitmen of Rar.
After the birth of Katoroth, the queen who was their mother passed on after childbirth.
The King was devastated for some years, he called her his sunflower.
Queen Rijie was loved by all and sundry and people always looked forward to when she would address them.
She stood by her husband in every way, conquering by his side and winning with him.
King Spaj was a naturally dauntless man, but with his woman, by his side, he felt indestructible.
After her death, he became a shadow of himself with Onorra covering for his legacy and Katoroth becoming worse as he went deeper into his insouciant lifestyle.
Katoroth became a thorn in the flesh of the palace.
He lost it and the more his brother got all the love, the more irritated and irked he became.
After the death of Sodie, her family attacked and this led to a war.
But because The Tondos kingdom had been good to other kingdoms, they got more support and they were able to defeat the Inkin kingdom.
It was a long war with several giants felled and merchandise destroyed.
The Tondos kingdom won in the end, Katoroth's father was furious and he barred his mind to his son who took it wrongly.
Onorra also tried speaking to his younger brother but it ended in a duel with him winning after both men severely injured themselves.
The defeat led Katoroth to a more eccentric end, he became completely erratic in his actions.
Moving about and indulging himself with the women of easy virtues.
Soon enough King spaj married another woman named Holigin.
A gorgeous pink-eyeful woman who was quite a charmer, she had long blonde hair and flawless curves.
With blue eyes, perfect dentition, and heart-shaped lips, she brought a whole new energy to the palace.
But as life itself is, not everything is all that it seems, looks can be beguiling and beauty fleeting.
However, with the influence of time, every hidden thing comes to life eventually.
All that is hidden in the shadows, abandoned to their gloom in the dark, and captured are released into the light when we least expect it.
Holigin used to have an affair with Katoroth and had even had feticide countless times for him.
Her story was a long one of several skeletons kept in the dark, in the cupboard of cankers.
Worms, pests, and rotten fruits lie within the beautiful cupboard, locked with its key thrown away into the sea.
