Chapter 29 - THE SEED THAT MADE A FOREST

Theon had a very close friend who was not so famous, his name was Forvadale and he belonged to the royal family of jesters whose service has been sworn to the king till the end of time. This service did not come without a privilege as he's

ters family enjoyed every bit of the luxury of the king whilst living in the palace.

Theon was the chief warrior and the leader of men when combat called, he called the shots when the men are prepared for battle and takes in the ones who are ready. However, sometimes Forvadale follows him. he is a talker and one good with words and jokes, what he lacks in combat he makes up for it in words and comics.

Their friendship grew with much trust and understanding to the point some of the people who dwelled in the land got jealous of their friendship. but then the heart of man is hollow and deep and like a labyrinth, cannot be easily accessed.

Orion kept looking at the time frame, the highs and the lows, seasons of laughter, and moments of pain. he was particularly fascinated with the stories of great men who fell, and he realized he had a lot to learn from the story of Theon.

Switching on between time seasons, Orion left the story of the life of Theon and moved to the tale of a woman called Gionevia a singer who lived hundred of years before he was even born. Orion can now access periods and seasons of the era before his existence and he was grateful to the High Lords of the spirit of whispers for this privilege.

He wondered how much time has changed but humans remain the same. hunting each other down in the quest for power and the desire to be supreme. Gionevia was famous for her sonorous energetic soprano voice and made waves at the time his father was a child. since there was not much technology, her acts and performance were pure and her fame went far and wide.

She had a child early in life but did not let her single mother stigma get to her, as her fame grew a lot of her competitors tried to use this against her but she has already developed a thick skin. you see she had prepared herself and was ready for the world.

She was slender with white hair silky smooth and very luxurious, her shape was as unique as her hair. hourglass and completely voluptuous, a total belle to behold. Gionevia sang like a nightingale, dazzling the world with her angelic voice while she lived.

Then one day she disappeared, at the age of twenty-eight from the shores of the land of Sputaz. leaving so many with questions and others wondering whether she was missing or had left the town.

It did not take long afterward to realize she was missing and a proper search was organized by the inhabitants and lovers of her craft.

The day she vanished she was supposed to perform at the square and it was meant to be a big event, with dignitaries and royal elites from far and wide gracing the occasion she was already euphoric about the event before she suddenly was nowhere in sight.

A few weeks later her remains were found by the sea, overtaken by craps with her eyes eaten off and her hands twisted. It was a gory sight as the remains had begun to fester and some of her dry blood stained the clothes on her remains. soon enough the quest for justice to be served begins with a man called Fioleleve taking up the case for himself.

Being the case of a prominent person, it garnered attention while it went on. so many clues were put into consideration, Gionevia thought a lover of the sea could not swim and whoever had ended her life on the sea of the Demurens knew her and was not a stranger to her.

Nights after night Inoqrue groaned in anguish and torment, his belly protruding and movements found therein. the physicians brought were all confused by this strange ailment and most of them were unable to diagnose the real issue affecting him and what the cause was.

Once it is daybreak the king is once again back on his feet, at this period his eyes were puffy and swollen due to lack of sleep for many nights. he had different nightmares anytime he closed his eyes regardless of whether it was daytime or dusk.

He felt intense pains in his joints and could no longer go fishing like he used to, and he had become more terrified of the night, often wishing it would not come upon him. to him the night meant terror, fear, suffering, and affliction.

Some nights he saw a red figure in form of a snail, sliding down on his belly and eating his intestines bit by bit, this snail was huge and its vesicular eyes were replaced with hornlike straws with which it delved into his belly sucking his intestines out. however Inoqrue despite himself was still entertaining women much to the distaste of his first son Spaj and his head of guards Cropel.

There was a certain petite red-haired woman who visited him usually and she was consistent, her name was Vuletidetez and Inoqrue was particularly fond of her. Vuletidetez did not care much for the royal maids when she was around as she handled everything herself and ensured the king was well attended to.

Felitinchy was well aware of this woman as well and she had been granted a permanent pass to the palace, in Inoqrue's special chambers where he entertained his favorite women. an exquisite room he referred to as the Circle of fire.

The queen had this point had resigned to fate, she did her best as the queen to look after her husband with the help of the hand of king Felitinchy, they both ensured the king's affairs did not ruin or interfere with the running of the state and that his numerous women are kept in check so they do not result to over ambition of usurping her. she made it clear that she remains the main woman and the one who will always stay by the side of her husband on the throne.
