"What?!" Bella exclaimed, stunned. How could she possibly be his girlfriend when he was already in a relationship with the hottest girl on campus?
Adrian examined her reaction and said, "Listen, just please be my girlfriend for the semester, and I promise we'll call it off after that."
"Excuse me?" Bella stood up, her anger evident. "Listen, Adrian, or whatever your name is, I can't possibly be your girlfriend—or should I say side chick—when everyone knows you're with someone else. Someone better than me in grades, beauty, and understanding."
"Wait, what?" Adrian was confused. Since when was he in a relatiionship, and why did she think it was a crime to be with him? "Bella, I'm not in a relationship with anyone. That's why I'm asking you."
'Such a liar,' she thought. "So what category would you place Natasha Dev in?" she asked, her face stern.
Adrian laughed, realizing the misunderstanding. "Natasha and I are just close friends. You don't need to worry about that."
"Whatever you say, I won't agree to your terms. If you have nothing else to say, I'll take my leave," Bella said, turning to leave.
'How can I let her go?' Adrian thought. "Wait, Bella, please don't leave. Try to understand me," he said, reaching out to her.
As Bella hastily walked away, she accidentally tripped on a rock and almost fell, only to be caught by Adrian. The sudden movement caused them to accidentally kiss.
"What the heck?" someone in the garden screamed.
"Oh my gosh, is that Adrian kissing a girl who isn't Natasha?" another person added in shock, snapping pictures of the two.
Realizing what had happened, Bella and Adrian quickly let go of each other. "I'm sorry for that," Bella said, her face flushed.
Adrian, equally shocked, lowered his head to hide his blush. "Listenn, about what just happened, I'm sorry," he apologized as well.
"Bye," Bella said hurriedly, rushing away.
"You will be mine, Bella. Just wait and see," Adrian murmured, touching his lips and laughing as he blushed.

When Bella reached her dorm room, she quietly lay on her bed, tryiing to process what had just happened. Mia burst in, screaming at the top of her lungs.
"Ahhhh!" Mia jumped onto Bella's bed.
"Mia, what's going on?" Bella asked, shocked by her roommate's behavior.
"Oh my goodness, girl! When were you going to tell me that you kissed Eldor University's crown prince?" Mia exclaimed, both surprised and excited.
Bella, who had hoped to keep her first kiss with Adrian a secret, looked stunned.
"Hey, don't give me that look. I even have a picture and a video of you two kissing for a minute straight," Mia said, showing Bella both the picture and the video.
"Oh no, I'm done for," Bella muttered, trying to bury her face in her hands.
"Sweetheart, that's not all. You two are the top gossip on campus," Mia said, showing Bella the latest gossip chart.
Bella sighed deeply, realizing her quiet life had just taken a dramatic turn.
