Outside Pylon Mountain Range, Great Province of Gek'hial.
Seven figures sped through the forest. They were moving so fast not even their shadow could match them, picking up broken branches and dead leafs with the wind vortex left in their absence.
The leading figure in the group suddenly paused. Raising his hand, the figures that followed stop their advance next to him.
This person was the Sky Emperor.
"That's the Xi Clan?"
One of the Saints exclaimed in surprise. The Sky Emperor immediately noticed the oddity that wasn't present the last time he visited.
"They have retracted their Clans Sealing Formation. They may be preparing for an escape."
The Saints looked toward the Sky Emperor and laughed.
"They think they can escape the Sky Society!? Hahaha! It seems the second rate powers are getting too comfortable in the time of peace! They have forgotten who we are!"
*Pow!*
The Sky Emperor suddenly appeared before that Saint, slapping him across the face.
"Are you trying to call me weak!? You think I would mobilize you if the clan was so easily handed!? Do not underestimate the foe that resides here, or you only add to our death tally!"
He angrily looked around the silent Saints.
"If I see any of you not fighting seriously, I'll just kill you myself!"
He then turned around to face the Xi Clan up in the mountains.
"If you understand, let's go!"
The Sky Emperor became a flash of light as he disappeared into the distance. The Saints quickly followed.
Unaware of a pair of red eyes that watched them from a distance

'I'm sure you know their objective'
Xi Meiying smiled.
"I think they will give him a good opportunity to grow accustomed to the power of the Queen of Spirits."
The Goddess of Blood laughed.
'I'm excited'

Inner Residential Circle, Xi Clan
Xi Heji had just woken up an hour ago as he was seen in the estate's kitchen.
"Could I use your element of fire to cook this beast meat?"
Xi Heji held a large piece of meat in his hand as he questioned the quiet spirit in his head. She had been unusually quiet since last night, but he couldn't think of anything he could've done to her.
"Unless you want to die. Your body isn't accustomed to possessing an elemental qi, you'll burn yourself alive."
Pyslas sudden response caused him a bit of surprise, but her answer to his question disappointed him a little.
"Oh"
Xi Heji scratched his head.
"Then I'll have to light up a fire?"
He looked at the door across the kitchen that led down to the storage room.
"I have to walk alllllll the way down there to get firewood?"
Pysla didn't respond to his bout of complaints. Xi Heji sighed as he dropped his arms.
"They should make a storage room on this floo-"
*BOOM*
The entire wall of the kitchen exploded. The broken pieces of the wall flew towards Xi Heji like a projectile.
*Cling!*
A translucent barrier suddenly appeared in front of him, causing the debris from the explosion to ricochet off its path.
Xi Heji turned back to face the collapsed kitchen wall. Hearing the sound of footsteps, the intruders approached hidden behind a veil of smoke.
"You must be Xi Heji."
Two Figures emerged from the puff of smoke. Both of them were pure white robes. An aura of superiority surround the duo, along with an almost suffocating presence.
"And?"
He immediately consulted with Pysla in his head.
'You wouldn't happen to have a special ability or something I could use… right?'
Now that Xi Heji possessed sense, he was able to clearly know that his opponents were way above his level. In fact, he determined it was extremely high as he couldn't even see just how much the gap between them was.
"No, you must've forgotten who I am."
Though Xi Heji would've normally experienced extreme fear when faced with such a situation, he experienced Pyslas power first hand, and he had confidence in her ability to deal with them.
Pysla narrowed her eyes.
"I have already exhausted my power in creating a spirit to suit you. These humans I can handle, but I don't have a way to replenish my natural energy."
Xi Heji was confused.
"Isn't natural energy all around here?"
"If I absorbed energy, your soul point would explode."
Xi Heji's face froze at the thought of it.
"And even if you some how could withstand the pressure of drawing such an amount of energy, this world would collapse as no energy would be remaining to sustain it. The natural production of energy this world generates wouldn't be enough to combat the withdraw."
Xi Heji eyed the approaching two men.
"So you can't do anything about this?"
"I can, I just won't be able to assist you should you find yourself in a similar situation as this."
Xi Heji nodded mentally.
"It's fine. But how will you help me?"
Pysla raised her hand within his soul point.
"I'll impart you a natural gathering technique, you'll be able to use my modified version as your limits allow you. The only reason you can even use this is due to your spirit body as this is a spirit technique. Just know that this won't come without a price."
Seeing the approaching figures, he hurried her.
"Sure sure. Pain is better than dying, right?"

The two figures looked at each other.
"The Emperor said to rough him up a bit for presentation, just don't kill him."
The other looked at him.
"Are you sure a god inheritor would be interested… in this child? He hasn't even started cultivating…"
The figure nodded.
"I didn't believe it was him at first, but I would assume no other boys would live here. In fact, I could find an orphan child off of the street with better talent should I give him a few resources."
Both of the figures laughed. But one of them suddenly stopped as scolded the other.
"We got to get serious, the Emperor said not to underestimate this desolate ruin. I'm not trying to die early. Let's just get the boy and go."
The other one nodded.
"Right"
They both shot in Xi Heji's direction. That's when they heard a mythical voice. One so ethereal that once she spoke, all sound ceased. They had never heard something so beautiful before.
