"So it was not Hyacinth..." he said, cutting off Patricia's explanation. Regret painted on his face after his realization that he accused his daughter of something. He then exhaled deeply in frustration.
"I'm so sorry, hon... I should have told you sooner."
"No. It's on me. I was the one who assumed Hyacinth did it." He closed his eyes tightly. "She must be so hurt since I blamed her for something she didn't do. My poor girl... We should go back. I need to apologize to her."
Richard eyed their driver. "Victor, turn the car back to the rest house."
"Yes, Sir." the driver answered.
"No... No." Patricia interfered. "Just drive us home. She wouldn't like to see us for now after you mistook her as the one who played a prank on me. Better, we should wait a couple of days to cool her feelings down."
