Suddenly, like a bolt of thunder, I remembered the day Hyacinth's lips and mine met when I saved her from almost drowning.
I shook my head and punched Bobby on his arm instinctively. "W-what are you saying?! Who the heck would I kiss!" My voice got louder, trying to defend myself.
"Chill, buddy! Chill." he laughed, too amused with my reaction. "Why are you so defensive? Don't tell me, you really have a girlfriend? Where is the woman-hater I know?" he asked, still trying to tease me.
"Bud, you know me. I don't have time for things like that." I tried saying calmly, not looking defensive since he might catch on if I would not be careful.
"You might not know; you'll possibly have a change of heart someday. As for me, my heart would be for Gabriella and only Gabriella. It's been four years since I fell for her, and I'll go fetch all of the stars from the sky if she asked me to." He was smiling like a fool, which made my nose to crinkle with how mushy he was.
