Chapter 213: Battle Of Southwest Tod (Part 1)

Veta - Warsaw Kingdom
A day after the secret attack occurred in Veta and Stansa had passed. As I was informed by Gen. John, except for those two regions, the rest of my homeland was completely safe. Despite being informed of the intel of the Attenta's invasion, His Majesty was still slow in preparing the troops.
Hence, we were left alone here, taking care of ourselves before the enemy comes to get us. Last night, the mole messengers from the Beastmen Army spotted two suspicious groups - possibly the Attenta troops heading from their border to Tod forest, attempting their invasion.
One group looked like a supply battalion moving in from the southwest. While the other one looked like a fighting regiment, coming in from the southwest - right at the location our ally was camping, they were unlucky. The Beastmen Army would deal with the Attenta fighting regiment. While my unit would deal with the supply battalion... John ordered me just to scout them, which made me a bit... disappointed.
To prepare for the scout, the 19th Regiment of Warsaw Corps Army, which had members 2.000 would be under my command. The mission was to march from Veta to the southwest of Tod forest front to search for the Attenta supply battalion. Right after finding them, I was ordered to retreat to Veta for safety. While the Spec Ops Head Hunters unit of Spera - would eliminate that supply group, that was the plan made by Gen. John.
However, I saw his plan was too over-cautious. Instead of eliminating the enemy right away, he chose to retreat while leaving the part to be solved by the Special Forces. Honestly, letting the Elite units solve the problems was a good idea... but I think killing a normal group by using the Special Forces... was a cowardly act, against me.
As a Knight from the Great Warsaw Army, I follow the chivalry tradition of the Knights. There was no natural when John let me command a regiment, even had members that much to 2.000. Before the battle, I already had a plan for my own now, to show John. Instead of running away, I'd fight a death battle to clear out the entire supply battalion... to show John those Attenta troops were just mosquitoes.
After deepening my mind in my deep thoughts, I opened my eyes to return to the reality before me. My current morning was now interrupted since the war occurred... no more waking up early, no more sneaking around to see John, no more hiding from his wife. John reminded me to rest well for this tomorrow's scout. Reasoning for the way he gave me 2.000 troops, John said there must be unpredictable things that could happen in the war.
If I faced a large enemy group, as long as my side was 3 times larger than theirs, the victory possibility was higher according to him. Though John prepared for me a large regiment without an order to use them to fight... but I already knew how to use those troops for my own goal.
"Reimi, you see it fit?". - While thinking, I heard Her Highness ask me
I slowly glanced at her while opening a light smile to say to her I saw comfortable with the way she and the other maids were tying the metal plates on my armor. We were all inside the armory room - located in Veta castle's front yard to the east side. The maids were assisting me in wearing the metal armor, protector plates, weapons and other things.
For some reason, Her Highness also joined to assist. Despite being rivals in the cold war to fight against each other just to take her husband away, we were good friends. The good friendship between a ruler and her closest guard... now I was about to head to the frontline, only to scout for the enemy. Even though, Shera was very devoted to her work, she was strapping the shoulder plates on my armor, very carefully.
"Feel hot in there?".
"A bit, my Highness". - The Knight armor was not comfortable at all, I got used to it since my childhood, though the heat while wearing this cramping armor was still following me, heh?
"The armor for your feet is ready, Ms. Frieden". - The maids who took part in putting the plates on my knees and my lower body had finished their part
"The armor for your chest is ready, Ms. Frieden". - My chest part was now full with a belt and the arrow holster, even a longbow to assist me to fight from afar
"The armor for your back is also ready, Ms. Frieden". - A metal shield had been placed on my back, readied to sustain the attacks from behind
"Here, Reimi... done". - Right on time, Her Highness also finished strapping the metal plates on my shoulders and my triceps
Now I was ready to move out of the frontline. Before going outside, I nodded to the maids and Shera to thank them for assisting me. Shortly I pulled down the strapped plate on my Knight helmet which was a face protector, signaling myself to get ready for the go. My vision through the face protector was quite cramped and hot. I could only look through the loopholes of the helmet, which were small... every breath I made out was hard and also echoed back to the space of the helmet.
"You feel alright?". - Her Highness asked me when I was trying to stretch, to make sure the armor was flexible enough for me
I rotated my body from the left to the right while waving my hands which were full of protector plates strapped around. Seeing I faced no struggles in moving alongside the Knight armor, I made a fighting stance while leaning my right hand to the left to grab the sword's grip.
"Slashes!". - I drew out my sword swiftly since it had an average length, easy to draw
This sword was a magic sword - fire element. Its ability was to create a dense glowing blue heat on the blade when the magic was casted. It was a gift from Lady Akane - Her Highness's ex-classmate... honestly, I hope Lady Akane was now in her homeland. Otherwise, she would stay here and tolerate the war between Warsaw and Attenta.
"Yarrrrghhhhhhhhhh!". "Slashes! Slashes! Slashes!". - I roared while running, my hands lowered the sword, later I ran around while swinging, I felt no problems with this armor at all, perfect!
"Reimi... you look tired".
"No, my Highness". "Hahhhhhh! Hahhh...!". "Just... I moved too fast while wearing this armor". "Slashes...". - Later I put my sword back on its scabbard and approached Her Highness, my sweat kept draining out because of wearing this armor
Approaching Shera, I looked down at my body to check on my weapons and equipment once again before heading out. I had a flintlock pistol put on a holster on my back, I'd think to use it in emergency situations. My right side belt had a pack of arrows, I was a right-handed so it was a good angle for me to draw the arrows while shooting a bow.
Seemed like I had brought too many weapons with me or something. Strapping the longbow to my left shoulder was not comfortable at all, especially when I had to use a spear or a sword to fight. When I was on horseback, using a spear to fight was necessary. My sword was just a secondary weapon, and I brought quite much things with me, I think... my horse - Hermann would be miserable to carry these things now.
"I think I'm ready to go, my Highness". "Thanks for assisting me earlier...". "Nod!". - Shortly I nodded to Shera and put my right hand on my middle chest, that was how our Warsaw Knights do the military salute
"Reimi, come here". - Her Highness later approached me and gave me a big hug
"I'll be worried about you, Reimi...". "Remember to do the scout properly, and return here safety, alright?".
"I heard it, my Highness". "Tap! Tap!". - While hugging each other, I tapped on her back to tell her I'd be alright on my mission
"I hope your new haircut is good...". - Her Highness had just given me a haircut last night
My new hair now only lasted to my ears. The reason I had that haircut was for military purpose, since women's hair tend to be grabbed easily by the enemy. Thanks to my new haircut, this time I could fight well without being scared of that situation. Shortly we stopped hugging, while I glanced at the armory room's door.
"Alright, open the door". - I ordered the WCA soldiers who were guarding the armory room to open the door
Those soldiers nodded and opened the door. I confidently walked outside with my armor echoing every time I walked, even soft or strong. Her Highness followed me from behind. I kept walking till I reached the middle of the front yard, my private horse - Hermann was waiting for me on the right side of the place.
Seeing my horse, I slowly approached him and later realized Gen. Rigen was standing beside my horse, waiting for me to reach him. While walking to my horse, my eyes looked above to see the castle's high walls and watchtowers having the WCA soldiers from my regiment. Because the castle's gate was closed, they had to use the alternative route to head out of the castle without opening the gate. And the watchtowers were doing that job perfectly.
From my vision inside the castle, I couldn't say anything. However, the watchtowers on the back of the castle were all strapped to a hook rope, available in each tower. Soldiers grabbed the ropes and slipped down to the ground. Shortly they regrouped and marched to the castle's gate, waiting for me to appear to move out.
Later, I looked away and focused on the road ahead. Approaching till I reached my horse, I glanced at Gen. John from the left side and gave him a Warsaw Knight salute, ready for my go. After was saluted, General also gave me a military salute, he shortly nodded to say goodbye.
"Sir?". - I asked John in my surprise since he gave me Hatano's Advisor - which was confiscated as she was detained yesterday
"Use her... keep her on all the time". "It'll help me to detect you, even when you're missing, Sir Frieden...".
"Yes, Sir". - I slowly kneeled one leg on the ground and bowed, lowering myself before my true ruler while receiving his gift
Taking the gift, I stood up and tried to remove my right metal gauntlet to strap Advisor to my hand. But failed, I think I'd try it again while marching alongside the soldiers on the scout, I think.
Staring at the General once again, I nodded and approached my horse - Hermann, later stuffed Advisor on a handbag strapped to his right side. Later I mounted on my horse and fit my legs on the saddle, grabbed the rein. Before going, I glanced around the castle once again, later spotted the wounded soldiers who were resting on the castle's walls, nodding, some even smiling at me.
"Reimi, good journey!". - Hearing Sarah's voice from behind, I slowly nodded but didn't look back
Later I remembered that I forgot to put some of my weapons on the horse. But maybe I should do that on my journey, no need to be rushed.
"Reimi...". "Remember to return here safe and sound!". - Hearing Her Highness's voice, I looked at the left side - the direction in which she sounded
As I saw her, Shera was standing beside her husband. She smiled lightly while tilting her body to him, even slowly leaning into her husband's hand, slowly grabbing it in her happiness. The way she closed her eyes while smiling, grabbing John's hand was like she intended to do it, probably to joke with me about being away from her husband, cannot have him.
"Yeah... yeah... I will... sure...". - She was trying to make me get jealous, I did but... I will surely steal your husband away when I return, I swear!
"Thanks, my Highness!". "Sure, I'll return here safety and gift you a big surprise!". "I'm ready, General". - Finishing replying to Shera, later I nodded to Gen. Rigen
"Alright, open the gate!". - He shortly ordered the soldiers to open the gate
I kept sitting on my horse while holding the rein, waiting till the gate was opened completely. When it was widely opened, I moved my horse out of the castle, later spotted my regiment was lining up ahead, very large. According to the intel, my 19th regiment had 2.000 personnel:
1.000 Infantry Soldiers - Archers, 500 Horsemen and 500 Gunners (From Sharpshooter unit)
"Everyone, line up!". - Seeing their formation was not fit, I ordered them to fit their formation before heading out
After a short time modifying the fighting formation, I saw the current one was fit for combat. Thinking I should move out soon, I pointed my hand forward while on my horse holding the rein, staring at the regiment of 2.000 men.
"Soldiers, move out!".

"Mark, Mark... wake up". "Wake up man, wake up...". - While marching alongside my comrades, suddenly I heard a voice of someone sounding
I reacted to that voice weakly because I was a bit exhausted after walking for hours. When my regiment departed from the castle, we had been marching in the southwest of Tod forest for about 4 hours by now. Normally, we'd have a 5 or 10 minutes break after a one-hour march. However, Captain Reimi Frieden was very... shit! Well... ignorant and conservative, she wasn't satisfied with the scouting yet.
Instead of letting her men rest, she forced us to march till this time. Honestly, our last break was two hours ago, our regiment was in need of resting, not going around. Since the search for the caravans which were assumed to be the enemy supply battalion hadn't made any progress. 'Cause the search for that battalion hadn't made any progress, she kept us up to find the supply battalion till this time.
"Mark... any water left?". - All of sudden, a voice called me but I could only shake my head weakly to decline
By the way, I was from the infantry unit of Warsaw Corps Army. Since we were the WCA infantry soldiers, we were the first-line team, who were now moving alongside Cpt. Frieden - the armored lady on horseback. In this Regiment's formation, the infantry was placed on the first-line. The calvary group was on the second-line and the sharpshooter group was on the third-line.
We were moving on the long dirt trail which was built with the purpose to help the travelers moving in the forest. While moving, I kept my pose straight while walking with my spear always headed upward to not hit others. The comrades alongside me seemed to be tired, from their pale faces. Moving for a while, I looked behind to see the other groups. The horsemen teams behind us were not any better, but at least they had their horses exhausted on behalf of their feet, heh heh.
I was wondering how heavy was the horsemen's green-dyed metal armors, they looked heavy to me. Or that was what I thought unreasonably... because Cpt. Frieden still showed us how flexible she was despite her armor. Otherwise, she must have gotten used to wearing heavy stuff since her childhood, she was a Knight.
Even if those metal armors were not as heavy as I thought, they still looked cramped and hot. Luckily this time was in the Winter, it was very cool this time. However, the winter's weather this year was not as cold as the previous year, at least it helped us a lot more than wearing bunches of leather clothes.
By the way, as I know from this cavalry group. They were just the light armor horsemen, their equipment was not as well equipped as the heavy armor horsemen. In the Warsaw Corps Army, the difference between the infantry and the cavalry could be detected by the way they carried long-range weapons - we use crossbows, while some of them use bows.
We were equipped with crossbows since they were easy to train and use, and had a range longer than a bow. However, the way to reload a crossbow takes more time than a bow. It was heavier and hardly... or even impossible to reload while on horseback... because its way of reloading was difficult if you were not standing on the ground to reload it.
While marching and looking behind to watch the horsemen, I barely spotted a bit of gunners behind them too, good. As I could see, they were marching with their muskets headed upward, they looked fierce... and well-built. However, some of their groups could be seen bringing high wooden boards alongside the gunners, purposing to cover them while shooting. Since these men were not equipped with metal shields, they had to use these wooden boards to defend themselves from the archer enemy shooting from the distance, I thought so.
Thinking there was nothing more for me to see, I looked away and kept my eyes on the road ahead. Walking alongside my comrades, while seeing Cpt. Frieden was having her waiting face while on her horseback, I wondered what was inside her mind. "Women, they know shit!" - my mind thought that way every time I looked at her, that was funny. Ahem! Well... I must observe her more while walking to find out.
"Halt...". - Cpt. Frieden raised her left hand out to tell us to stop moving
A few seconds later, turned out the scout squad who was ordered to check on the road ahead had returned to us after minutes of sneaking around. Every time during our marching, our Commander would send out a squad of 10 men to sneak and scout for the road ahead for a while before returning to report. I was also part of the scout squad, but this time wasn't my turn yet, not yet.
"Speak". - She ordered the squad leader to report
"Sir, we found a river ahead to the southwest". "No enemy detected... only a small plain ahead, fit for open battles". "Water's been checked, no sign of poisoning".
"That's so...?". - Cpt. Frieden spoke to herself while showing her thoughts, she kept silent while staring at us
"No signs of the battalion, Sir".
"I know I know... hmmmm".
"Regiment, 10 minutes rest!". - Finally, she said the word all of us wanted to hear a long time ago, yes!
"Holy fucking shit!". "Giggles!". "Sit here, men!". - Hearing the order, we were all happy
I was also happy but I felt myself dehydrated. Well, I grabbed my leather water bag out to drink, later found only some drops of water in my mouth. This water bag was empty, I was fucked up!
Feeling frustrated, I closed the water bag's cover while looking around, to ask my fellows if they had water to spare with. By now, the WCA infantry soldiers were all sitting on the nearby trees or lying somewhere comfortable to rest. While the horsemen were seeking some space wide and empty to strap their horses there for a break. Meanwhile, the WCA gunners only chose somewhere to sit, despite it wasn't comfortable. Those gunners crouched down, chatting while doing something with their muskets... they were cleaning them, I guessed so.
"Tap!". "The fuck are you doing, Mark?". "Get here, c'mon!". - My buddy - Pvt. Tev hit my back, later grabbed my shoulder and led me back to my unit
"Heyyyy... have some water?". - A buddy from my unit asked me
"Nah, man...". "You?". "No...?". - While approaching my team, I asked the man who asked me earlier, shortly received his shake head while sitting
"There's a river over there as those guys said". "What do ya think? Get over there and grab some water?".
"You go... I'm gonna stay". - Honestly, I was lazy to go
"Hey, those girls have water". "Take from 'em, should we?". - Another guy, he had a water bag in his hand as he approached us, this dude was not from my unit or my friend either
"Gimme". - I leaned my hand on the water bag he was holding
"Nah, man!". "What the nut... get there, just away from us less than 30 meters". "Not just only have the chance to see girls but can also ask 'em for water, just get your ass out". "Drinks! Drinks!". "I'm going, never see ya guys". - The dude protested me and drank some water, he shortly got away
"Let's move to paradise, guys". - Another man from my unit left, he followed the previous dude to the women soldiers' position, I bet he went there to see tits and stuff, didn't look thirsty at all
"I think I gotta go too". - Tev left the group and followed those guys, his wife in the Capital must be very disappointed in him if she found out he was like this
Sitting while wielding an empty water bag, I looked around to check and spotted our Commander opening and closing her mouth. She had already dismounted but was opening her mouth as if to talk to someone while holding a... black bracelet with the green glow? I think so.
I kept observing Cpt. Frieden for a while. Later she grabbed out a map or something from the bag she strapped on her horse, as if she was drawing the next strategies for the go. To think honestly, I think women should be staying home to take care of their families and serve their husbands. Letting them join the military was just miserable for us... because... well. "Women... they know nothing at all, but always think they're smart and knowledgeable, that's their stupidity".
"Pvt. Mark and Pvt. Tev, get here!". - Shit... she suddenly called us
I later left my equipment there, such as my metal shield and a pack of 30 bolts, etc... to let me feel more comfortable while resting. Shortly I brought only a dagger and a loaded crossbow with me to approach Cpt. Frieden. Honestly, I think that was my turn to do the scout alongside big Tev. Reaching the Captain, I kept my pose straight while Tev got to me with his confusion while holding someone's water bag, haha!
"You two scout the road ahead". "Spot anything, return here quickly... got it?". "Five minutes".
"Rog, Sir".
"Okay, S-". "Alright, Sir". "Drinks...". "I gotta go, sorry". - Answering the Captain's order while drinking, Tev later ran away as if he had something important to do
"Don't have much time, Private...". "Head to it right away, fast and carefully".
"Roger". - Taking the order, I simply walked away from my Regiment
"How the fuck could she expect a thirsty to death man to scout for only 5 mins?". "Women... know nothing...".
"Hey!".
"Nothing, Sir!". "I'm gonna back, gonna back, yeah...". - How the fuck could she hear my swear from that distance?
Later I walked deep into the dirt trail where the previous scout group had been too previously. Thinking there was no enemy ahead, I walked forward casually without having any guard on. Heading there for a short moment, as I counted it could be away from my Regiment about 200 meters. There was a narrow river, down the ground to the southwest, its stream was very peaceful and lovely. Knowing I was thirsty, I pressed my face on the cold water while enjoying every drop I swallowed... so good!
"Drinks! Drinks! Drinks!". "Drinks! Drinks! Drinks!".
"Woahhhh, so good!". - Drinking for a while, I saw myself full, I stopped myself from drinking
"Alright, let this baby have water, alright...". - I dragged out my leather water bag, later put it down the stream to take the drops
"Ey, man". - Pvt. Tev later appeared behind me
"What?".
"Let's scout around, don't just sit there".
"You scout... I'm gonna stay here". "C'mon, move your ass, man". "....". - Why the guy was so silent when I replied?
"I gotta pee here".
"What the fuck, get out!". - Hearing his joke, I was pissed off so I yelled at him while leaving my water bag to follow the stream
"Just kidding, just kidding!". "Shit...". "Don't like jokes?".
"Nah...".
"I'm gonna pee either w-".
"Heyyyy!".
"Alright... dude, no need to be serious". "Chill out... alright? Things were shit yesterday, I just want to give y'all some mood". "I'm gon-".
"Eyyyy!".
"I said... I'm gonna pee... this side, not the river". - Finishing his jokes, Tev moved to a nearby tree to relieve himself
"Ummm... you forgot your water, man".
As he said out, I looked around the river, shortly spotted my leather water bag. It was now following the stream, about to head out of my reach so I sprinted and jumped into the river to grab the water bag. Luckily I retrieved it, later I returned to the ground, hearing Tev's giggles when he was peeing.
"I'm wet, man...".
"Yeah yeah, I know...".
"I'm gonna scout, stop joking". - I was a bit mad at Tev but shortly ignored him, now I pretended to ignore my wet military outfit
I looked around the place I was standing in. It was just part of Tod forest, with the trees dense combined with the flat surface. The dirt trail could be seen very long ahead, only had our footmarks, nothing else there. I walked along the river to see if I could find anything else. The riverside could be described to have a lower ground (lower to 2 or 3 meters) compared to the ground of the forest.
I kept walking along the river while looking at the side beyond it. That was a small plain of the forest, which had some hills that could be seen from afar, from the left side. Thinking we hadn't gone too far to scout for the area, I kept stepping along the river while being surprised when it was quite wide. Walking along the river for 40 meters, I returned to the position where I first came in - the side I used to drink water, to find Tev.
After I came back, in front of me was Tev who was lying on the lower side of the ground - at the riverside. That was odd when he stayed in that position without a purpose, as if he was scouting for something... something beyond that small plain.
"Man... get here, c'mon!". - This dude was quite odd when he kept lying on the ground while asking me to get near him
Surrounded by my curiosity, seeing something was waiting for me, I slowly approached his position. Seeing I wasn't crouching, Tev pulled me down beside him while pointing his eyes onward to see something unidentified from afar of the plain...
"See anything over there, man?". "Tap!". "Tell me...". - Tev asked me as if he didn't believe what he was seeing, he even tapped on my helmet while pointing his finger to the position he was keeping his eyes on
I was pissed off a bit when my buddy did this to me, but finally I managed to calm down. I later looked in the direction he was pointing to me... hmmm. Though the view from that far distance was hard to see, I managed to spot some things moving on the plain from the distance.
"See?".
"See shit!". - I kept trying to look at the things moving on the plain closely, closing and opening my eyes constantly, trying to precise my vision
"Hmmm...". "Some things... look like a snake line...". "What should I say...?". "Hmmmm... it's long, moving, like a caravan group...?". - While looking at the target, I tried to describe as detailed as possible to Tev what I saw
"Hmmmm... hard to tell". "Looks like that's a group of caravan or something, moving toward the river...". "But they're small like the nuts from this distance...".
"Hmmm... Tev, I think we should report this back to our Commander now". "Whatever the things on that side are... tourists are unavailable in this forest...".
"Hmmm... Tev, the fuck?". "Answer me, g-". "...". "Tev?". - Hearing Tev wasn't replying to me, I looked at him but shortly noticed he already disappeared
"Where are you, Tev?!". - I yelled around to hear his signal, later I noticed that I was the only one alone here
"Hey, hey!". "Over here!". - Suddenly, his voice sounded from my back, this time I saw Tev running from the dirt trail to my position
"Tev...?". - Behind him, was Cpt. Frieden, this dude acted faster than I thought
Reimi's perspective
After I was informed by Pvt. Tev about something strange he spotted on the go, I followed him to the destination. Pvt. Mark could be seen lying on the lower side of the river while peeking at something afar from the small plain, I must find out. Running until I reached the place, I lay on the soil and my armor got dirty. But I ignored that problem and pulled out binoculars - John gave me, to look at the things beyond the plain, hoping it would work.
"Hey, Why'd you go without saying to me, m-".
"Keep your low profile, soldiers". "We're here to scout, we must stay silent". - Getting off the annoying part, my eyes slowly looked through binoculars to see the things forward to the plain
As I saw through the binoculars, a long line of caravans could be seen moving on the far side of the plain. Many carriages which had cloths covering the back sides were spotted, they looked like to be carrying goods... like the merchants. However, this forest was a warzone... no way a merchant group would be wandering around here this time. Maybe I had now known that caravan group, they were the hostiles, the Attenta supply battalion I was searching for.
Somehow their heartbeats weren't showing on my Advisor's screen. Maybe they were farther than the distance of 500 meters (the maximum range her sensor could spot). To make sure I wasn't wrong, I kept observing the caravan group for a short moment to proceed. While looking through the binoculars, I saw dozens of carriages and some leather armor soldiers walking along them as if to protect... hmmm.
I kept looking for more until I spotted some horsemen from that side. They were all in black armors with red circles and a dagger marked in the middle of their armors. Till this time, I was sure that I missed no details to process this problem. They were all the hostiles, Attenta supply battalion I was searching for. Later I started counting the enemy I was seeing. They looked to be more than dozens of men, from the footmen to the horsemen, even the ones on the back sides of the supply carriages.
I was not good at counting fast so I was trying to make sure I was right in counting the enemy. After many times processing, I was sure this supply group had at least 200 men. Their number was just a small battalion, or even just a max number of a company. Well... our unit had a number 10 times larger than the Attenta supply group we were facing. From my experience, I believe charging the horsemen against the enemy would make the immediate glorious victory for Warsaw.
But should I fight? I wondered because I was ordered to scout for them and let the Special Forces do the destroy mission. But the enemy was very small... maybe I should give myself a try, even just a little bit. The consequences were very low to happen. Even if John scolded me after this battle, he would surely thank me later when I decided to make this attack, I think so... yeah...
"Soldiers, return to your position". "Inform the Regiment, form the formation, ready to attack".
"Uhhh... wh-".
"Immediately!".
Hearing my order, Pvt. Tev and Pvt. Mark ran back to the Regiment to inform them of the incoming battle. Thinking about planning for this battle, I was confused between the decision to fight in stealth way or the traditional way. Knowing that would be a long time to answer, I got out of the current position and walked back to my Regiment to prepare. Maybe I should fight the enemy in the traditional way of Warsaw Knights - the chivalrous way.
"Think 7 times before making the decision, Captain...". "Even if the enemy is small... I suggest staying hidden, asking for the General's approval".
"I know, Advisor...". "Call John, I'm gonna tell him...".
"And if he rejects?".
"I know what I'm doing...". "Even if I'm wrong, you can assist me to contain that battalion, right?".
"...". "Even if you do... ask for the air support from the Beastmen, they're near us".
"I will...". "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing". - Finishing speaking to my Advisor, I contacted Gen. John while returning to my Regiment
