Chapter 18 - Kat - Australia

This time the Xanders gathered again in Althea. Another sad case they will solve today. Basta was already sitting there with the other six Xanders. Unusually today's situation seemed a little different. Basta who was usually silent this time smiled and joked a lot. Meanwhile, Dion and Ega, who used to get along and cause a lot of laughter this time, were silent. Meanwhile, those who don't understand like Vaz and Alvo just stare in confuse and even glance at each other.

"So can we start our mission this time?" asked Alvo who was trying to break the strangeness that happened.

"Just starting before today will get even weirder," said Vaz.

"Ah before we start I want to thank Vaz for finally coming down to Earth on a mission. That's amazing, Vaz." Praise Basta who made Vaz hold back his smile while Orfe was already clapping his hands happily.

"Just this once, Basta!" Vaz reminded and Basta ignored him.

"You too, Orfe. You've been doing well down there. Keep digging that confidence," said Basta who was still greeted with proud clapping by Orfe.

"I think I can do it as long as Vaz is always with me," Orfe said.

"No no! That's enough then," said Vaz.

"But you seem to like it too, Vaz." Orfe said a little sulkily and Vaz still refused with a movement of his hand.

"Leave it alone. You know that's what he is, don't you?" Basta said interceding.

"Ah well then. So here is a case. A young girl named Katherine or Kat who is 16 years old. She is currently grieving because she is being bullied by her classmates just because she is black while the school is dominated by white people. She is in Australia to be exact. We can see she's on the roof crying alone," Alvo said.

"We have to move quickly before she has other bad thoughts like hurting herself or even committing suicide," Vaz said casually.

"That can't be happening therefore it doesn't have to linger. Who wants to come down?" Basta asked.

"How about me?" Alvo offers.

"Of course. You're very good with your words. Then?" Basta Still offers.

"I guess hm, just Juno," Vaz said a moment later.

"Me? I won't do anything and just sit by Basta's side," Juno sarcasm at Vaz's suggestion.

"Just come along," Alvo reassured with a meaningful look in his eyes.

"Hm, what's with those eyes of yours? All right," Juno finally complied.

"Okay, so Alvo and Juno will go down and since everyone has agreed I think that's enough for now." Basta said and one by one left the room.

Vaz approached and spoke to Juno who was still in Althea. "You can bring a piece of paper and when Alvo talks to her you just have to draw her face and give her the sketch as a gift. She's going to love it."

"You know I'm not that confident, Vaz," Juno said humbly.

"Come on. I know you gave Dion a painting. Why don't you give it to the girl?" ask Vaz.

"How do you know? Ah whatever. But what if she doesn't like it and it will make her even more insecure because she doesn't feel beautiful?" Juno asked finally.

"Then you just need to draw a pretty one." Vaz said with that straight face.

"Shit! Talking is easy, Vaz!" said Juno.

"You'll never know if you don't try. You just have to draw it and if it's not good you don't have to give it," said Alvo who still heard their conversation in Althea.

"And in the end I just sat there beside you?" Juno asked sarcastically.

"As you expected right?" Vaz said casually.

"You better speak for yourself, Vaz." Juno said he didn't want to lose but Vaz certainly didn't hear it. Better to refuse to listen.

They finally decided to descend immediately via Orion accompanied by Vaz who was monitoring from Althea.

In fact, the happiness of every human being created because of the Xanders can give Malghavan energy. That energy will be channeled entirely to the Phoenix guarding Malghavan. The indication is the light that is on the body of the Phoenix. The purplish light will appear clear and bright and he will fly well. The power of the Phoenix earlier would be passed on to all the demigods in Malghavan through its land. This includes turning on all the elements that are there, such as animals and plants. That's why even without rain or food, all living things can continue to thrive. One of its features, of course, is the light pink mist that fills Malghavan.

Alvo and Juno arrive at the bathroom of a school they believe is the school of the girl, Kat. Immediately walked casually to the roof even though several pairs of eyes seemed to notice their presence which was of course unusual. Alvo with his very tall body and extraordinary body proportions and Juno, who is also not less muscular, still has all kinds of piercings on his face as well as tattoos on his hands but it can never reduce the handsomeness of the two.

Alvo saw a girl with black skin and beautiful curly hair, of course, sitting alone on the roof of the school. Just leaning limply on the dividing wall and staring intently at the food she brought. Kat looks relaxed in jeans and a t-shirt which is covered by a gray jacket. Juno signaled that he would step aside a bit because the girl might be scared if she was met by two foreign men at once and Alvo just nodded.

"Hi," greet Alvo friendly.

"Who? Who are you?" Kat looked a little scared.

"Ah don't worry I'm not a bad person. My name is Alvo and I work in a magic shop nearby. I came by this coincidence, hm, this was my old school and I just wanted to visit," said Alvo finally forced to lie so that this girl was not afraid.

"I see. Then why are you here?" Kat asked finally.

"This? It's a public place right? So I guess I can come here too. After all this has always been my hiding place and I just miss it," Alvo said casually with a sweet dimple smile on his cheeks.

"I see. Of course," Kat said turning her gaze the other way.

"Why are you only looking at the food? Aren't you hungry?" Ask Alvo of course pleasantly.

"I don't know. I just didn't feel like eating," Kat answered curtly.

"Then why are you here alone? Is it the same as me? Hiding?" Alvo asked and the girl tilted her head back.
