Chapter 9 - Hardworker

Alvo seems to be sitting alone on a large balcony outside Althea. The view is indeed amazing, the sparkling lights on the earth are a bit faint because of the clouds that cover it. A gentle breeze with the fragrance of flowers. It seems that occasionally the phoenix guarding Malghavan flies here and there and sometimes even perches on the balcony. Alvo sometimes reached out his hand to stroke the phoenix's wings. A book is in Alvo's hands, don't know what other books are being read this time. He says books are his way of increasing his ability to make other people happy as well as a way for himself to be less stressed.

"What are you doing alone here?" asked Vaz who had just arrived.

"As you can see," Alvo just showed the book he was holding and Vaz understood.

Following Alvo's footsteps, Vaz took a book and sat beside him. But instead of reading it, Vaz actually invited Alvo to talk.

"You're working too much Alvo," said Vaz.

"Who? Me? Everyone works hard here," said Alvo, of course evasively.

"Yeah you always are. You feel that this is all your responsibility. Malghavan, Xanders, humans. Basta is already here. Me and the others can also help, but you act like you're the one in charge here. Owh of course in a positive way of course," said Vaz again.

"Then what exactly do you mean?" ask Alvo.

"Get some rest, have fun," Vaz said.

"I'm doing it," of course Alvo sulked at the book he was reading.

"Ah, you know that's not what I meant," said Vaz hard to speak again.

"Hehehe. I know what you mean. You take it easy. I won't go crazy because of this," said Alvo.

"Yeah but I think you're going crazy soon. Ah, just explore your other hobbies, which will really make you happy," Vaz said.

Since Vaz won't stop talking until he closes his book, Alvo chooses to give up and tells Vaz that he will try to go down to Earth and do what he wants. Though of course they don't know what will happen down there. Alvo passed by Orion, imagining a beautiful place and somehow he was in Seoul - Korea to be exact in an art gallery that he don't know who this belongs to. Alvo just stared at these rows of paintings, but for some reason his mind drifted to Juno.

Alvo knows Juno likes to paint even though he doesn't show his work very often. Even among the Xanders, only he and Vaz knew about Juno's painting talent. Even his older brother Basta doesn't know it either because he's always busy or maybe avoiding. Alvo wants to fix the relationship between the two. And that was Alvo, always thinking of others before himself.

Alvo likes it, the painting that is here. Even bought one to take back to Althea. An abstract painting actually with the dominance of pink and gray. Maybe it will be installed in one corner of their house. After all, the house was too quiet all this time. Hopefully Juno won't be offended because he brought home the work of another painter instead of his own. Even because he liked it too much, Alvo promised to come back to other art galleries one day.

Alvo got out and walked down the busy streets of Seoul City, until he came to a very large river called the Han River. Gets a bicycle rental that takes him back in time when his mother taught him to ride a bicycle and go wherever he wanted on a bicycle. Of course before his mother died and he was invited to Malghavan by someone he didn't know.

"You want to rent a bicycle?" offer a guard.

"Ah, yes, I can. Actually, I haven't ridden a bicycle for a long time. I hope I don't break your bike," said Alvo kindly.

"Hahaha. Don't worry. I've already insured everything," said the guard, of course joking.

Alvo tried to ride his bike again and although a little wobbly at first, he finally got the hang of it. He enjoyed the light of the lamp and the moon which this time seemed further away than usual. He also enjoyed the reflection of the light on the Han River as well as the slightly chilly weather tonight brushing against his body. He enjoyed the sight of all the humans seeming to be happy talking to each other. Until he saw a man sitting alone in the distance.

Alvo stopped and decided to make small talk at the man who looked frantic.

"What happened to you, Sir? You look confused?" ask Alvo.

"I'm just tired. My sister, who is also in college, called and said she needed money to pay her semester fees," for some reason, the man discussed it all with Alvo and then glanced at him. "And even now somehow I talk about all my problems with strangers," said the man again.

"Honestly I almost feel the same way as you but I think your problem is much more severe and complicated. But I realized one thing that we do have to come to terms with the situation. You really can take a little rest and take a breath. Think again what could be you do it to lighten things up a bit. Then just move according to your ability without having to see the steps of others," said Alvo again, who for some reason actually spoke for himself.

"Go home and just rest, Sir," suggested Alvo finally and the man just nodded.

"Thank you for all your sweet words. But who are you young man?" asked the man.

"Ah, I'm Alvo, I work in a magic shop around here," Alvo said immediately turning.

Alvo saw how the man looked a little carefree. His body that looked sluggish at first now looks more excited with a sturdy body and steps. The man also showed a smile to Alvo when he said goodbye and returned to pedaling his bicycle in the opposite direction. Thinking back on his own words that should have been for that other person. Alvo smiled slightly looking at the Han River again that night, as if cycling would be an activity he would do from now on. It's been a long time since Alvo hasn't come down to Earth unless he has to carry out a mission. It turned out that his desire to avoid Vaz in Malghavan earlier was the right decision.

"My job is to make other people happy and how can I make other people happy with the words that come out of my mouth if I don't believe it myself? I think I should start thinking about myself from now on," Alvo thought in his heart.
