Chapter 7 - Path of Confusion

Chapter 7

The island of Adeady was visible from where they were flying. Labdon proceeded to instruct his troops and implement the strategy they had discussed before. Before reaching the surface, the eleven of them began to disperse inside the territory.

Helluza and Tagua stumbled across a bunch of fisherman. "Tagua, how do you believe we'll be able to blend with those people?" Helluza inquired. "As far as I remember, if we combine with them, they will die," Tagua responded.

As Helluza continued to consider how they blend with humans, he realized that he had numerous human corpses with him, and they utilize that body to combine and pose as humans.

"Help! Help us, we're drowning!" said an almost drowning guy to the fisherman. Some fisherman ran to the man after hearing the yelling.

"Help us! Our ship has been wrecked by severe tides," the guy said. "My companion and I fled, and we don't know where we are."

"Who are you and where are you from?" the fisherman inquired.

"My name is Luza, and this is Agua, and we are both crew members on a ship," Helluza said to the fisherman.

Helluza fell unconscious after speaking, and the fishermen seized both of them and led them to their ship. The ship landed at Adeady some hours later.

The fisherman goes to Hytac's lodgings on the harbor and informs on what they witnessed in the sea while fishing.

"Knock knock?! How are you doing? I just wanted to report to you that while we were fishing, we saw two men that we didn't know, and based on what they said and their appearance, they were not from here with us or the neighboring islands. According to them, they were Luza and Agua, who were members of the crew of a ship. After they finished saying this, he suddenly lost consciousness. Because of that incident, we put them on our ship and brought them here so that they could talk properly. Thank you very much," said the fisherman.

When a Hytac member heard this, they immediately hurried to the ship, detained the two of them, and led them to a chamber where they could talk to these two.

After a few minutes, Luza, also known as Helluza, slowly awoke. Agua also awoke. When they awoke, they found themselves surrounded by individuals, with one seated in front of them.

"Who are you and where are you from?" the individual in front of Luza and Agua said.

Luza muttered something that quickly turned on the lights in the pretty gloomy room since he couldn't see the faces of the people surrounding him or the person in front of him.

"Where did you hear that word?" the man in front of Luza said.

"Are you a HYTAC member?" Luza inquired.

"Yes, I am a hytac; my name is Captain Akari," Akari said to Luza.

"As a proper introduction, I'm Helluza, a hytac Eurek rank, and my buddy is Agua, also a Eurek."

When they heard what Helluza stated, the peoples surrounding them were startled.

"If you're a Eurek, why are you hiding?" Akari inquired of Helluza.

A lot happened; it's difficult to say from the start. When I learned out, I wrote a letter to the high-ranking hytac who brought you here via a familiar.

"Yes, I am aware of it." "As proof that you sent it, may I question about the letter you sent?" Akari inquired of Helluza.

The first inquiry is, "Where was your most recent mission?"

"How many of you are still on your mission?" asks the second inquiry.

The final inquiry is, "Why did you travel to Adeady?"

Because of Akari's queries, Helluza promptly responded. "To the Kingodm of Zana: Three of us survived the event," Helluza said to Akari. "This is where we went to Adeady because we claimed there are many hytacs here."

When Helluza responded, Akari instantly rose up and recited a communication spell to contact High-Captain Andy.

Helluza and Tagua glanced at Akari for a few minutes as Akari stood on the side facing him during the communication spell.

"According to our High-Captain here on the island, you may accomplish your task right now and create a way for whatever occurred to you," Akari told Helluza.

Helluza and Tagua swiftly fled the area after their chat to complete their objective on the island.

In the vicinity of Tribonal and Arioja.

"What are we going to do, Tribonal?" Arioja inquired.

"The two of us have a mission to build a ten-layered demonic barrier around the island," Tribonal said to Arioja.

Simultaneously, but in lieu of Syd, Haller, and Poole.

The three of them are seeking for a concealed location on the island where they can begin creating a summoning circle and easily summon Zeabolis.

Meanwhile, Buskher, Fukyama, and Majak separated and sought a route into the Hytac base on Adeady Island.

in the vicinity of Labdon

While strolling, Labdon noticed a group of people who appeared to be gathered and discussing something. Labdon slowly approached the gathering, and when he saw and heard what they were saying, he grinned and realized he had made a plan.

Labdon disguised himself as a poor and injured man and approached the gathering for assistance.

"Help," Labdon said to the group.

The gathering gazed at Labdon slowly, and the speaker likewise came to a halt.

"Who are you and where are you from?" a man inquired.

"I'm Bravos; I'm a poor creature, and I'm going to seek for your assistance," Labdon said.

The man Labdon was speaking with approached and shoved him, as if he were being ejected from the establishment.

"Stop!" said a guy.

"My name is Gafford, and I am the Elder of this island," Gafford said to Labdon.

When Labdon heard what Gafford stated, he shifted his shape and began killing the individuals one by one. The others fled with Gafford as he was murdering it.

Labdon let the others go first, then ate the ones he murdered, and after he was done eating, he cleaned the site so it wouldn't be clear that someone had died there.

Labdon flashed a terrifying smile before darting towards the folks that were running.

A powerful wind blasted past the people running, and the sky darkened rapidly. They heard a frightening chuckle and saw a figure slowly descending from the sky, surrounded by black smoke.

"Kneel, you feeble things, because one like me will pass and you will be judged by the underworld. No one will survive this, so you may live with me and become like me. Do you folks understand?" Labdon said as he sat down.

"Stop, you demon; someone like you has no right to order us humans." Gafford said to Labdon, "Go back to your place."

Labdon chuckled loudly before vanishing into the sky, murdering five of Gafford's comrades. "Hello, Gafford," Labdon said as he grasped one of Gafford's buddies' hearts. "Do you know that the human within is odd in that we demons, or better known as Zeabolis, become stronger when we feed people?" Labdon said as he approached Gafford.

"I am one of ----," Gafford said flatly, and Labdon quickly covered his lips.

As he continued to devour Gafford's five comrades, Labdon let forth a terrifying chuckle. Gafford was trembling and terrified as he watched what he was witnessing, and his sweat was flowing like a faucet from terror.

Before Labdon completed his meal, he cleaned the area as if nothing had occurred. While Gafford was pulling remaining meat from his teeth, Labdon approached him. As he arrived, he spits, took a big breath, and began to speak: "Infinite time, oh dark might have buried inside its source, spread your wings in the echo of crossing souls and rise from the dark abyss! Take a look at this! And believe me when I say that this creature is no illusion! Wretched brightness, utter blackness! Open the door to a different future in order to align the planet to its original form! Your shape will be transformed into my form. Your soul will be lost because my soul and powers will be the ones that transfer onto the body you are using. Come forth, my Creators can swap souls and powers, but your soul and powers will vanish forever."

While Labdon was speaking, a little light appeared, transforming him into Gafford.

"New person, new body; it appears that I will have a difficult time in my mission, and I will first learn how to walk with people and lead the entire island, as well as how to mingle with the people on the island," Labdon stated as he sat down slowly on a large rock.

Labdon closed his eyes and considered how and what a town leader was.

Community leaders come in a variety of temperaments and styles. Some leaders are more outspoken, while others lead softly yet with authority. However, effective leaders have a few characteristics.

They must have empathy, the capacity to inspire, great communication skills, and a sense of communal pride. Effective leaders handle problems by including all members of their teams. They persuade others to collaborate toward a common objective. They concentrate on increasing effectiveness—the capacity to get things done.

Mobilizing a group to build community support for a neighborhood clean-up or a school improvement campaign, for example, may be a difficult task. Leaders must frequently urge people to collaborate with them and deal with a wide range of viewpoints and personalities.

Organizational structures are changing. Administrators are simplifying previously inflexible bureaucracies since they recognize that such structures frequently benefit the bureaucracies rather than the constituents. Effective community leaders are critical to achieving success in this new climate.

In my dream, nine men arrive and each says something about being the leader.

"You are a leader if your actions encourage others to dream bigger, study more, accomplish more, and become bigger."

"Innovation separates between a leader and a follower," says the second man.

"Do not follow where the way may go," says the third guy, "but rather go where there is no path and leave a trace."

"The true mark of a leader is the willingness to stick with a bold course of actions an unconventional business strategy, a unique product-development roadmap, a contentious marketing campaign even as the rest of the world wonders why you're not marching in lockstep with the status quo," says the fourth man. They recognize that in an era of hyper-competition and constant disruption, the only way to stand out is to stand for something unique.

"Leaders inspire in their employees a hope for success and a belief in themselves," says the fifth guy. "Positive leaders encourage individuals to achieve their goals," says the sixth guy.

"Leadership and learning are inextricably linked," says the seventh guy.

"The single most important method to affect an organization is to focus on leadership development," says guy number eight. "There is essentially no limit to the potential of an organization that hires outstanding people, elevates them up as leaders, and consistently develops them."

"The pessimist moans about the wind," says the ninth guy, "while the optimist expects it to change." "The sails are adjusted by the leader."

He was even more perplexed and unsure what to do as a result of what he witnessed in his dream. But he got up, opened his eyes, and headed toward the people he was going to lead.

He sensed a peculiar presence as he went, whistling.

His buddies and the hytacs on the island detected the presence as well.

Because of their presence, Labdon was obliged to create five flying copies of themselves.

Labdon, Tribonal, Arioja, Tagua, and Helluza are the five. Those duplicates of themselves were to serve as a decoy for their purpose.

At the moment on the island of Adeady,

"At long last, we've arrived," Labdon stated. "How are we going to blend in among the humans without their noticing?" Tribonal inquired of Labdon. "Don't worry," Labdon said, "I can perform a spell."

Five Umbreytts emerged on the island of Adeady's south shore.

"This project is almost finished; this experiment is called Drole" said a scientist.
