The stimulation of Cold and Emotions had been found to trigger Goldie's indestructible, uncontrollable wings. Cold could be controlled easily, but emotions, not so much.
If Goldie's emotions could be controlled, then perhaps, it would be easier to control her songs, but alas, that would be an impossible feat, as Goldie herself, was an emotional wreck, like most teenagers her age.
As such her wings were in danger of potentially going out of control at any time. And that was not good.
If her parents hoped to keep Goldie safe, they would have to find a practical way of hiding her wings.
"To hide these wings, we have to control them. And that is impossible to do with it depending on Goldie's constantly fluttering emotions.", observes Mrs Markell.
"Hey!", Goldie protests.
