For that to have come out of Goldie in school!...
Just imagining it, they could tell how unbelievable that would have been. Their daughter had truly been through a lot today.
"!!... That loud?", questions Mr Markell, completely stunned.
Goldie nods twice.
"Very very loud. Everyone heard it! And now, everyone thinks I'm a weirdo at school…", says Goldie with her head hung low, holding back the urge to cry out her frustrations.
It had been a terrible day for her indeed. The very worst day of her life.
Mrs Markell could sense her daughter's sadness.
"Oh no! You are not a weirdo, okay, Sweetie?… My daughter is an angel.", Mrs Markell responds.
As astounding as it was for a teenage high school girl to let out such a loud and shocking birdcall in school, it still was not alright for Goldie to be going through such a horrible experience as being labelled a weirdo at school.
