Everyone in the West Border who was informed about me because of father already knew why I was here so they only looked at me intensely because of the mask I'm wearing.
I'm already used to the stares of confusion and wonder so I ignored their prying eyes and followed the Azrael knights.
The long walk finally ended and I went inside the room where Amelia and father is currently present as well.
"Remil Azrael" father called in a cold tone.
I raised my arms in defeat and calmly looked at them.
"I want to stay here father" I insisted.
"Remil!" father shouted in an angry tone.
Geez, why is he angry?
"If you won't let me stay I might----"
"Enough Remil. You're punished to attend all the parties that will be held from now on and you're not allowed to stay inside your room for ten minutes long as long as it's not bed time" father said which made me feel cold.
"That's!----" I was about to say that it's unfair but father already planned to ignore me and stood up.
He looked at the knights who stayed outside of the room and did not enter and nodded to them.
The knights then surrounded me and is trying to grab both of my hands.
Amelia looked worried for me while Ravir looked dumbfounded by what's happening.
"Father!" I shouted which made my father stop and stare at me.
It is the first time that I shouted this loud that even Amelia looked at me in surprise.
"I want to stay please" I mumbled almost begging.
Father remained silent and simply looked at me while trying not to get emotional.
"I'm sorry for worrying you and mother. I'm sorry for running away and not regarding my safety as important..." I mumbled.
I tried to make him feel at ease first before I said my reason for staying but when those words went out of my mouth I finally realized why he's out here trying to drag me back.
In his eyes I must be a normal person who has no power to protect herself on her own.
Amelia is the daughter of God and the Saintess so her safety can at least be guaranteed with the help of God, but what about me?
In his eyes I could have been killed by the bandits on the way here. I could have been kidnapped (Which really happened) and have been killed.
They could have lost me because of my recklessness.
Amelia is different because she dropped by the places that she already knew she would be safe in while I stayed everywhere with the money I luckily got by selling my dress.
"There's no reason for me to stay here. I know that, but father I've already come this far..." I started letting what comes first in mind and say it.
"I've been staying inside my room most of my life and the experience I had during my travel made me realize how much I lack in life... I want to learn more father but not the way how nobles learn the world by partying most of the time..." I said.
If I think about it.... If ever a hundred years pass by and everyone I know is already gone, it would be unnatural that Remil Azrael is still alive.
By that time Remil Azrael will also have to die as well and I have to live in a different identity who is not a noble but a mere commoner.
If I'm going to live in this world by myself in the future, I will have to learn more.
With that realization in mind I feel more determined to stay here.
If Remil Azrael is going to disappear anyway, I might as well make sure that the name Remil Azrael will be recorded in history.
"Don't worry about me father, I'm strong. I can protect myself with magic" I said.
Father who has been silent then looked at me in confusion.
"You guessed it. I know how to use magic father" I said and called out my book of spells and took out my servant pen from the Spatial Ring.
Servant pen is a spell that lets me summon a pen and order it to copy the content of a whole book and write it fully into a different book.
The servant pen has a great feature that if you don't use it to copy a book it will remain as a normal pen in the world and it's even a pen that has unlimited ink on it.
I've been using the servant pen ever since as a normal pen and has no need to buy new ink every time I ran out.
Of course there's a chance that I might lose it that's why Spatial Ring is actually convenient to keep it safe.
I didn't mind everyone who has been looking at me with expectation.
I simply focused my eyes on the empty page while thinking about what Spell will make everyone believe that I'm capable enough.
I looked out the window where the sun is about to rise up and saw the sky.
Having a great idea cross my mind I started writing in silence.
"What weather do you think is my favourite father?" I asked with a happy tone in a voice.
Dumbfounded by my question, father did not say anything as he did not know the answer.
"None" I simply said and continued writing.
As silence insued in the room Amelia nagged at me.
"Don't joke around Rem" she said as she sighed.
"I'm not. I don't have one because I never went out of my room to experience them myself. When it's raining I don't know what the rain feels like as I can only hear ans see them. When it's snowing I don't know if the snow actually feels soft or hard. I know it's my fault for not experiencing them before but now I'm interested" I said as I finished the spell I made.
Weather manipulation.
I looked at everyone who looked at me in silence.
"How about a light rain in the morning?" I said and and used the spell immediately.
Sooner a shower of rain started pouring down that can be seen outside the window.
Since it's light rain everyone could barely hear the raindrops hitting the ground but it can be clearly seen along with the bright sun that's slowly brightening the sky.
There's no sign of raining earlier but suddenly the place is covered of raindrops.
"Father if you tell me to stop the rain I will do so" I said and grinned.
Slowly but surely the sky is showing an arch of rainbow and it appears that there's two of it.
Father sighed and looked at me.
"Fine, if that's what you want" father said in defeat.
Pleased by his answer I then stopped the rain and looked at the two beautiful rainbows that remained.
"Thank you, father" I said.
Amelia on the other hand frowned and could not accept that I'm staying here.
But since father had already made his decision Amelia could not say anything more.
Father reluctantly informed the commander about me being here then left in the morning to relay the news to mother.
He promised that he will send the things that Amelia and I will need here and left.
Of course after he left I immediately asked one of the knights to show my room so I don't have to face Amelia's displeasure.
Despite one of the commander's approval, the soldiers and knights seemed to not agree with it.
I told them that Ravir is my servant so they also gave him a room.
It's a good thing that those people was not present when I refused father when he said that he will send a few servant for us.
Amelia and I said that even Flourel did not bring any servant here so why should we?
Anyway now Ravir has more chance to meet his brother if he stay here. He has the choice to leave after they met though.
