The whole day I tried to hide from Amelia so that I won't get trapped by her to be scolded.
I know I'm just prolonging what's inevitable but at least I will have time to prepare my mind before hearing her rants.
Without even noticing it the night time came and the sky is showing not a single light as the moon were covered by the clouds.
"Memo" I immediately called out the first familiar I made.
[Yes, Master!] he happily shouted after appearing in an heartbeat.
I then took out the book with drawings in it and showed Memo what I drew.
"Can you read maps?" I asked but somehow I believed the cat can.
[Yes I can!] he shouted in delight as he swished around his twin tails.
I then turned the page and showed the drawing of a book, other suppplies that I need and the Stone Tablet as I looked at Memo.
"Come to my place and grab this things right here. Bring at least 10 books with you" I said as I pointed at the drawings.
I also turned the page and taught Memo the structure of the mansion and where my room was located.
"Did you remember what I said?" I asked.
[Of course, Master! I'll be sure to bring them back before 8 pm] Memo said and disapppeared in the shadows.
I was about to lay in the bed to rest when I suddenly heard a lot of noises from the outside.
"The monsters are coming!" one of the soldiers shouted.
I stood up in a hurry and looked outside the window to see everyone get busy while I was distracted by the people outside someone suddenly opened my door with a bang.
"Lady!!" Ravir's eyes looked at me with worry.
He is not a knight nor a soldier of the West Border so he doesn't have to do anything to help the others.
The only thing he could probably do right now is to secure my safety as the person who brought him here and also met him before anyone else.
"Keep calm, Ravir" I said as I looked on his way.
Although he can't see my face because of the mask, my voice seems to be enough to calm him down.
"Don't forget that two Saintesses are here" I said and grabbed a chair to look at everyone more comfortably.
Most of the knights and soldiers who noticed me from the window looked a little bewildered at how calm I am.
I only wave my hand in a lazy manner as if gesturing them to hurry up as they seem to get distracted by me that they stopped moving.
"Lady, the Captain Sevir told me to keep you safe no matter what so it's advisable not to step out of your room while the fight is still happening" he said and I simply nodded.
Silence engulfed the room for awhile.
I was a little curious how he was able to convince Sevir to let him stay here and that he was even appointed to be my caretaker.
Did he lie that I whimsically appointed him as my servant and used my name so Sevir could not refuse to let him stay?
If that's so then that's clever but if not I wonder what else excuse he could make.
"I heard that you came to the border because you're worried for your sister" Ravir said.
I guess he's trying to start a conversation.
"I guess I am" I simply said to answer him back.
His face is basically saying that we're the same.
"I'm different from you since I'm helping out as well" I said with confidence in my voice.
"You?" his tongue unconsciously let out what's in his mind.
"Ah" noticing belatedly how rude he was he then let out a sound then shut his mouth while sweating coldly.
Ignoring his doubts I nodded and looked at the knights and soldiers whose backs are barely seen as they were heading to the thick wall that surrounded the fortress.
"I'll participate in the fight soon" I said which made Ravir laugh awkwardly.
"Lady, why not join me to take care of the documents instead?" he suggested with a smile.
"Documents?" I asked back.
"Yes, from now on I'm part of the officials who manages the office of Captain Sevir" Ravir said with a smile.
"Lady, you can be my assistant" he added.
"Where did that come from? Aren't you someone who's assigned to me?" I asked back.
"I am, but the main order I received was to keep you safe and I'm just doing that" he explain with a sigh.
"I'm here to get merit though" I answered honestly.
He was speechless when I said that so I only sighed as if he's someone who could not understand my heart.
"I'm going to earn a title since I'm just the second child of my family. After Amelia inherits the Azrael I will have to step away" I said and called out the book of spells.
Ravir who already saw it before when I summoned the rain seemed to still widen his eyes in surprise when I did so for the second time.
He was still confused how writing in a book makes me use magic that could even change the weather.
But he stayed silent and didn't pry on the details.
"Why don't you stop standing there like a statue and rest? The battle might take awhile and you have to keep watch of me right?" I said as my eyes looked at the only furniture here aside from a table and chir which is the bed.
"I won't dare" he mumbled.
"Are you acting like a servant now? Sit down while I'm still being generous" I said as I pointed the bed.
He seemed to reluctant to follow what I said but in the end he sat down on the bed.
Knowing that he's sitting comfortably, I now turned my attention to the book of spells.
In this world magic also exists.
A magic that let's people do the impossible which only a limited number of people are born with.
Through painstaking research of every geniuses, there were magic that lets people travel to a very long distances.
Magic that can track someone else's location and even magic that make them fly.
There's also the Spirit Tamer who can talk with the spirits and have a contract with them which then gives them the power of nature.
Elementalists are called to the elves who can use the power of nature just like the spirits but doesn't need the contract of someone.
There's a lot of magical power in existense that there's no definite measure to know what type of magic you have.
There's a tool that helps people discover the magic potential of an individual but it's only up to an individual and their teacher to find out what kind of magic they have.
From now on I'm planning to become an Elementalist.
It was already known that my mother's side of the family has an elven blood in them so there's no surprise there if I ever become an Elementalist.
I'm just not sure what type of element to have.
I can own any element I want because of the book of spells but it's still much better to only show one or two.
I guess I'll just make every elemental I know just in case but in the end I'll only use one or two for the public to know.
Since the labyrinth was in the forest I'll just use the power of wind instead.
Since the book of spell is really specific when it comes to making a spell, I can't realy write down that I can use wind magic now.
I need to write every wind magic spell that is known such as Wind Recon, Float, Wind Blast, Shock Wave, Cyclone, Wind Blade and many more.
If I'm going to write every nature magic such as the fire, water and land in the book of spells, I might use up 50 pages in total.
Hmm... I guess I'll deal with this problem after Memo gets back.
After getting the Stone Tablet and the Books from Memo I will use the Year Suspension spell and stay inside the area for a year.
