The first floor, also known as the ground floor, is the place where the beasts are for sale. The second floor is where various types of bamen, basir, and equipment are sold. The third and fourth floors are reserved for the sale of exclusive or premium items. Jono is not permitted to enter both floors; only those with a premium membership are permitted to do so.
But from the ground floor, Jono could see there was activity on the third floor. There were several groups of people dressed up in expensive clothes on the floor dedicated to those high-end goods.
One of the requirements to register for premium membership is that you must have a certain amount of balance. Furthermore, there is a monthly minimum purchase requirement.
Jono began walking around the first floor. He saw a variety of beasts with varying abilities. Although there were various kinds of beasts sold here, the highest power level was only in the second stage of the second phase beasts, and there were only a few of them.
"There are so many beasts for sale," Jono exclaimed, somewhat surprised.
Jono came to a halt in front of one of the cages. The cage was a two-meter-wide, two-meter-long, and two-meter-high cube with an iron grid that was then covered with a layer of glass that could withstand the effects of the beast's abilities. Inside the cage is a rabbit-like creature with a length of forty centimeters and a white color with purplish gradations.
This beast's teeth are razor-sharp and lined up like shark teeth. Jono looked at the information from the rabbit beast.
Name: Swamp Rabbit
Power Level: Fifth Stage of First Phase
Abilities: Poison gas and venomous bite
Element type: Air and Death
Price: 6500 Rc
"I've seen a photo of this rabbit in the beast database photos on the internet and thought it was cute, but seeing it in person proves that the photos on the internet are clearly deceiving."
"This rabbit is hideous with those terrifying teeth." In hushed tones, Jono stated.
Jono then walked back to the other beasts and began selecting which ones he wanted to purchase. Of course, Jono would pick the cheapest beasts.
Because this was Jono's first time using a beast to better understand his super abilities, he chose the cheapest beast. He does not want to waste money on frivolous items.
This place has a plethora of beasts on display. Everything is separated into different sections based on the type of beast.
The first floor is divided into seven major beast sections. The seven divisions are as follows: a special section for beasts with an Aves class; a special section for beasts with an Amphibia class; a special section for beasts with a fish class; a special section for beasts with a mammalian class; a special section for beasts with a reptilia class; a special section for beasts with an insect class; and a special section for beasts with a mixed class.
Jono checked several times in various locations to decide which beast he wanted to purchase. He is looking for the most affordable beast. Jono began to confirm his choice after he felt he had checked all kinds of beasts.
After selecting three types of beasts, Jono wanted to pay for the beast of his choice right away. He immediately went to find a special place or cashier to pay for the beast he had purchased.
In the payment section, there are many employees who work as cashiers, serving buyers. Jono chose one of the cashiers to make payment for the beast he chose.
The cashier he chose was on the far right. Jono prepared three red square-shaped cards from the beast cage he purchased as a sign for the purchase as he walked to the cashier.
"Excuse me, sis, I want to pay for the purchase of beasts," Jono politely explained.
When the cashier saw that Jono wanted to pay for the beast of his choice, she smiled. The cashier employee was a woman with long black hair and a few freckles on her face.
"Okay, where's the beast ID card?" asked the female employee, a sweet smile on her face.
"This is, sis," replied Jono, handing her the three red square-shaped cards he had prepared earlier.
The female cashier also took the card Jono had given her, which she then processed. Not long after, the female cashier employee had completed the identification process for the beast that Jono wanted to purchase.
"The identity of the beasts and the total price is as shown on the screen."
"Please double-check."
"If it's true, please pay right away," said the female cashier employee, motioning to the screen in front of Jono.
"Add for delivery services to my apartment, Sis, this is the address," Jono politely said, holding up his apartment address.
"All right," the female cashier said.
The price of delivery services to Jono's apartment address is then displayed on the screen. After verifying the authenticity of the beasts he purchased, Jono pressed his ID card against the screen, which confirmed the payment.
Jono chose the three least expensive types of beasts. The power level of all three beasts is that of the first stage of the first phase beasts. Despite being the weakest and cheapest beasts, if one of these three escapes and attacks Jono, he will be helpless because he has not even reached the level of strength in the first stage of the first phase.
The first beast is a beast with orange, black, and white fur that resembles a Southeast Asian domestic cat. This beast possesses the element type of fire. This cat-shaped beast is about 27 centimeters long, not including its tail.
The second beast is a completely black beast shaped like a squirrel. This beast possesses the element type of gravity. The length of this beast, including the length of the tail, is approximately nineteen centimeters.
The third beast is a one-meter-long snake-shaped beast. This beast is yellow with white stripes that form a ring. This beast possesses the earth element type.
The three beasts cost 1550 Rc in total. Jono paid 1700 Rc in total, including delivery and cages. Not to forget, Jono also asked that the three beasts be tied up in his delivery cage and plastered in the beast's mouth.
Jono requested this to prevent the beast from escaping or attacking him when the beast's cage was opened. Jono is aware of this because he doesn't yet have the strength or ability to fight beasts.
The shopkeepers are used to dealing with requests like this and have prepared for them. The majority of the beasts treated in this manner are intended to be killed or subjected to research activities.
Most wealthy people who require magical energy from living beasts will make such a request. There are even many people or families who train their children by fighting with living beasts, so there is a high demand for living beasts.
After making the transactions to buy the beasts, Jono walked around for a while to see the other beasts on sale in this shop. Jono considered purchasing a cute beast to raise as a pet, but he decided against it because he knew there were still many important things to do first. It is difficult to keep beasts as pets. Most people who want to keep beasts first consult with someone who knows how to tame them.
Jono had to save on his expenses because he did not have a stable source of income. It is possible that he will have to work odd jobs in the future to supplement his income.
"Money is the determinant of everything," he muttered as he walked.
After being satisfied with seeing the beasts being displayed for sale on the first floor, Jono thought about what else he needed right now.
Then Jono went to the second floor. He planned to buy some bamen to explore his super abilities and train. When he arrived on the second floor, there were many rows of cabinets with displays of bamen and basir, which were neatly arranged, complete with basic descriptions.
Jono then went to the section that sells bamen. He chose various kinds of bamen in the first and second stages of basic grade with various element types. After finishing choosing various kinds of bamen, Jono went to the basir section. The plan was that he just wanted to have a look. It was discovered that the basir section not only sold basir items but also various types of equipment such as armor and weapons.
Rows of cabinets display various basirs, which are classified according to grade, as well as armor and weapons. Jono saw various types of basir, such as miniature living things and everyday utensils like glasses and plates.
Jono then turned to look at the cabinet between the cabinets displaying the armor and weapons. In one of the cabinets, there were various types of magic basir, magic armor, and magic weapons. Jono found it fascinating to see the magic basir, magic armor, and magic weapons on display in the row of cabinets one by one.
