To Lyon and Peter, Nate suddenly stopped on his track and was lost in a daze. For a moment, they thought that he might have seen something strange, but when looking at his front, they couldn't pinpoint anything odd that might have startled Nate.
It was only then doing it down on them that Nate might be looking at his system.
Meanwhile, Nate was still processing the system message. His mind was itching to start the evaluation process immediately, but he scold himself out of it.
Right now, Sin for the first time has brought news about the matrix, and if he was to go into the evolution and pass out, who knows how long it might take for the evolution to be over.
In the end, Nate was able to suppress the urge of clicking yes and continued to walk back to the mothership.
It didn't take long for them to return to the mother ship where he quickly went to answer the call.
It was a video call that was being made through the horde eye skill with the birds.
Sin was sitting in what seemed to be an office where he had a cigarette on his lips.
"What do you have to report?" Nate asked the moment he arrived.
Sin took the cigarette off his lips to speak.
"I think we now know where the matrix is hiding," he said.
"I have been looking through the sea but have never crossed paths with the other ship. However, one of these days one of my men was sent out. He could fly, and happened to fly above an island when the system suddenly alert him about the matrix presence in the area," Sin said.
"He quickly reported back, and later on, I have to send out more birds to survey the island for more information and indeed, the matrix is staying on a remote island," Sin said before pausing suddenly.
It was as if he was considering whether he should say it or not.
"Don't hold anything back," Nate said. Sin nodded before starting the speak again.
"It's just that something is off... From the surveying results, it happens that the matrix has fewer people working for them," Sin said clenching his fist.
"Do not be deserved, they surely have something they are not showing, and Sin," Nate called out. "Do not engage," Nate said.
Sin scoffed at Nate's world and said. "I am not even close to the base, but I was planning to head towards there after this call," Sin said.
Nate sighed. He knew how eager Sin was to end the matrix. Now that he know where they are hiding, he surely wouldn't sit back and wait for them.
This also means that whatever Nate was doing, he has to be fast with it.
"Fine... But I will be sending you a special crystal, that you can use in creating a weapon of your choice, or even, upgrade the one you have," Nate said. Using the inventory transferring skill, Nate transferred a demon-level crystal to Sin who received the give and quickly observed it.
"This will do... I can tell that this is the strongest crystal I have ever seen, I hope it has a great effect on my weapon," Sin said with that the call was ended and Sin went on to upgrade his weapon.
Of course, in the ship he took, everything they needed had been prepared. A master craft machine in case they needed to create a weapon and then also the teleporter if ever need be for them to evacuate the ship.
Meanwhile, Nate was left with his thought. With everything he had learned, what confused him the most was why were they a little force with the matrix.
Nate didn't want to think much about it instead, he walked out to the others. Lyon of course has been fighting none stop with demon beasts while taking their crystal, or taking their DNA.
He was getting more dangerous by the second. While he was already taking on the demon beast alone, the others were still busy struggling with legendary levels.
Nate couldn't blame them, after all, Lyons power allowed him to get stronger with the more beast he came across or fought with.
Unfortunately, the entire play has to be called off as a serious matter was now at hand.
Leo was yet to leave the group, and it seems like he was not planning to do so any time soon.
With everyone now settled, Nate went ahead to inform them about his discussion with Sin.
"The matrix not having any much force shouldn't be much of a problem. It is evident that they are planning to use the colonizers, and perhaps, they have more tricks up their sleeves,"
"If so, that is a worst-case scenario because there is a high chance that they have demon beasts on their side. Although you can kill them, I wonder how you will fend off an army," Leo said.
Nate's face frowned deeply. If so, then this will all be troublesome. Perhaps, there is something he could do, but he needed time for that.
Nate closed his eyes for a moment before deciding to announce it.
"It indeed will be troublesome, but I have a plan. I will be going into another evolution," Nate said.
There was a shot of gasps from the others in shock.
"Is that even possible? I thought we have already passed that stage of evolution and our body will be like this forever," Bull asked.
"Yeah... But this is different... It is an evolution to another realm. Anyways, if I was to complete this evolution, I will be able to fight off whatever the matrix had installed for us," Nate said.
"So you are saying we should buy you sometimes ?" Blake was the one that asked.
Nate nodded which resulted in another silence in the room.
"Maybe you guys are forgetting something," Lyon broke the silence.
"If the matrix has resorted to using beasts, with me there, things might not go as they initially thought," Lyon said.
Everyone started to consider what Lyon said. They ignored how sarcastic he sounded because he was telling the truth. The more beast is at the battleground, the stronger he gets and it will make things easier for them.
"I don't think so... You seem to forget that the fluid from the colonizer tends to not only be alluring to zombies and beasts, but it somehow makes them stronger than they should" Leo said.
"It will be best if Nate goes carry on with his evolution, and since the matrix is yet to attack, we would first hold them back till he is done," Leo said before looking at Nate. "Whatever you are doing, you have to start it now to save up time," Leo said.
Nate nodded before he also stood up from his seat. "While I am out, if possible try not to start up a fight with them yet, at least delay it as much as you can," After Nate said those words, his body fall on the ground with a thud sound.
Everyone was confused, but soon snapped out of it all.
