Before Leo went on to open the portal, he noticed the interest in the other's eyes as they paid serious attention to what he was doing even though Mark was secretly documenting the whole scenario without Leo knowing.
However, Leo seeing this decided to share some light with them on what he was doing.
"You all are curious right... I will explain what I am doing anyways, there is nothing to hide." Leo said.
"I will first start with the pattern.."
"These essential is the most important steps of this portal, one can say it is the location where this portal leads to,"
"If we were to make the slightest mistake to this pattern, it might runes everything. The reason I said might it be because the mistake can also be another dimensional universal, but if we are unlucky enough, it might be somewhere around our earth," Leo explained.
"Don't ask me about where this one leads to, I have no idea, but I am sure it is not in our earth's atmosphere,"
Mark and the others were listening attentively to Leo as he explained not daring to miss a single detail.
"Another important material is the red meteorites,"
"Actually, they are few of these stones that came to our earth, and that is because of their function... I can say that they are the key to opening this portal... It's in fact because of these stones that these meteorite stones were teleported into our solar system, unfortunately, they can't teleport themselves and only a few came through the portals," Leo explained.
Hearing all this, it seems like Leo was done with his explanation, but it was then Mark asked.
"What about the other stone?"
Looking at the blue stone and then the black, Leo was a bit confused.
"Shouldn't you by now know how these stones work, although they might have different effects on us humans, they still have the same thing in common and in fact reacts to each other," Leo said.
"For instance, the black stone can expand one's energy, like our qi, mana, and even the zombie virus. While the blue stone seems to react to zombies and some beasts, it also can absorb pains."
"Then, as I have already explained, the red stone focus on teleportation,"
"The reason I have these two stones with me is because of their reaction. One is that, we need the portal to be big enough to fit Ozzie, well as you already know, the black stone will do just that, and the reason I need the blue stone is because of its reaction. With you guys here, it is already radiating the energy not just from you guys, but also from Ozzie over there,"
Mark didn't need any further explanation because as soon as the other stones were brought to a certain range, they all started to glow before colliding with each other.
The glow kept on growing and the patterns started to glow as well. Just then, after the blue crystal have acted, the next in line was the red stone as a red beam mixed with blue light was shot upwards into the sky at a height taller than most skyscrapers.
With that, the red beam mixed with blue light started to mix while forming a purple light. Soon, it was time for the last black stone to act.
The beam started to expand growing in size as it covered a large space. And from the centre, a black space could be seen with no end.
This was an eye-catching phenomenon to me as everyone paused to see what was going on. Even the citizens that were locked up in a bunkhouse underground were watching everything.
"It is time for the pattern," Leo outed.
Soon, the dark space started to gain colour as they could see what was on the other end.
It was not that clear to see, but one thing they could make out was the fact the other end looked a lot like a deserted place.
"Quick...inform Nate, the portal is now active," Leo shouted at Mark.
Honestly, there is actually no need for that, with how eye-catching it was, it was impossible that Nate could not notice such a thing.
"Okay... Ozzie, it's time for you to leave," Nate shouted as he jumped off the building he was on and started to attack Ozzie.
He leapt off the building, transforming his weapon into a gauntlet, infused with his bloodline power and throw a punch at Ozzie's neck.
Ozzie was busy looking at the portal when the attack came, hitting him on his side while pushing him down and slamming him on the floor.
Tigger and Zee quickly acted, summoning his power, Zee as a mummy zombie had a special ability to control bones and being able to manipulate them.
He quickly summoned a bone arrow and shot it at Ozzie's skull. Since the two bodies were made of the same material, Zee's arrow stood a chance of damaging Ozzie. At least that's what he thought till the arrow hit but fall off.
Meanwhile, Shad who has been hitting up his sword could see and tell that his mana was on the verge of finishing, but it was then Lynn placed her hand on his shoulder.
"You need to make a big bang with that move," she said while supplying him with energy.
With the newfound energy, Shad had an idea as he instructed Zee on what to do.
Zee soon started aiming for the part of Ozzie that still has some muscle on it rather than bone.
With each aim with his bow, the arrows were stabbing into his flesh.
With this, Shad also started channelling his mana to the arrows freezing some parts of Ozzie's body.
It was not a total freeze but it as least was slowing Ozzie's movement as he was staking some time on the ground.
Nate seeing all this progress couldn't help but smile. Perhaps, there is still a chance that they could end it all here, killing Ozzie.
However, it was then Nate remembered what Leo told him about his path of evolution.
"I Ozzie ends up dying in our hands, then my evolution to that level is ruined. Although I am not looking up to it, but I have a feeling that my roar to the bloodline is very important," Nate thought and looked at the direction of the portal.
The problem now is how are they meant to get Ozzie into the portal.

Meanwhile, somewhere far from the forever winter island, on another island filled with activities. A group of five identical-looking boys was currently looking at a hologram screen.
These were the matrix.
"Well... Now that we have grown our force and are ready for a confrontation, I never expected to see him in such a tight condition," Mia said.
Of course, what was displayed in front of them was none other than the current event going on in the winter land settlement.
The matrix now believed that their force was strong enough for another confrontation with Nate and was now looking for him.
Just like Nate, the matrix was also using the birds as their drone while looking for Nate and have found him in the middle of such a fight.
"This is a good thing, at least, it will give us an idea of how strong he has gotten, perhaps, we might need to adjust our plans," Kai said.
"Are you for real? Do you think we can lose to him now?" Mia asked. This particular question, Kai has no answer for it.
Moving the view to another direction, Mia started to think.
"This is interesting... A portal to some other world, will this leads us back to home?" Mia asked no one in particular.
"I am thinking of the possibilities... But the skull head said we can't go back?" Green said.
"What if he lied?" Kai asked.

Kai was startled by the voice, but soon calm down.
The skull head voice said.
"Is that so... Green, take note of all the details about that portal," Mia nodded.
"Well... Now let's see how Nate is going to deal with this one," Mia said as he sat back and relaxed.
