So far, nothing has come through the portal and in fact, it was a good thing to Mark and his group as they stood in front of the opened portal with a cannon shooter at hand.
'According to Leo, there is a high probability that something might come from the other end, but why haven't they showed up, perhaps the other side has no living creature on it,' Mark thought of the possibilities of him being right.
Although he clearly does not understand anything about dimensional travelling, he was sure of one thing, they have to be something out there.
Mark glanced into the portal and could see the deserted land with yellow-like sand as the breeze was carrying dust particles around making it hard to see anything further.
"What are you guys doing... Is this how you are planning to get us all killed,"
Just then, a voice was heard, and looking at who it was, the others became cautious as their cannon were all pointed at them.
Mark recognized the one that just spoke as one of those that have arrived to fight against Ozzie.
"Wait... You have to understand... We are helping you guys!!" Mark said afraid that things might escalate out of hand.
Looking at the portal, then at Mark, the man said. "Really? You are helping by opening a portal...? What if something comes from the other end, besides, why exactly will a group of zombies decide to help us," the man said.
It was as the man was speaking a dark shadow started gathering inside the portal. The shadow grows larger till its head is now out of the portal.
Seeing this, the man stopped talking as he reached out for his pocket, but it was then a loud bang was heard and the creature's head was smashed.
Mark already had his cannon shooter. "Let's not forget why we are here," Mark shouted to the others now ignoring the group that now surrounded them.
"Did you see that... That portal needs to be closed," the man said as he rushed towards Leo who was holding the three stones down on the pattern.
"No...!" Mark readied his cannon ready to shoot, but it was then vines sprouted out from the ground blocking the man's path.
Another came from his left and swung at his chest sending the man flying.
The other soldiers were not standing doing anything, they all have rushed in to attack but were soon stopped by vines followed by a long hair lady.
"You all should knock it off... We are fighting for you guys, I won't let anyone shut down the portal till that beast over there is on the other end," Levi said having appeared beside Leo.
It was then a loud deafening roar was heard from inside the portal. In a flash, rushing out from the portal was a centipede-like beast crawling in the air without any wings. Its body was swerving around like a dragon...
Seeing this, Mark and his team quickly shoot at the beast, but with its fast body, the beast was able to dodge it all.
Turning its body, the beast was now focusing on Mark and his group, however, vines were sent its way wrapping around its body and yanked down.
With a loud bang, the beast landed in place. This have gave Mark and the rest more time to aim at the beast and with each blast, a chunk of the beast's body was being torn off.

From where Nate was, this particular notification appeared and he couldn't help but glance at the portal.
'What is going on over there...'
'It seems like they might be needing my help,' Nate thought and placed his hand on the ground summoning his tyrant zombies and giving them a simple command.
"Protect the portal and the people guarding it,"
Meanwhile, things were not settling in any way for Levi. Just after the beast was killed, two more could be seen rushing out from the portal.
Using her ability, she trapped one of them restraining it from moving forward. Meanwhile, the other has others who have already flown away deep into the city.
Though not for long as a red creature shoot up from one of the buildings, grabbing the centipede beast by its head and tilting it down crashing down on the floor.
This was not the end though, rushing out from the other side was something else different from the centipede beast. It was a horseman.
Where the head was meant to be was a humanoid figure giving it the look of a great historical creature known as a Centaur.
On the centaur hand was an axe caved out of some material like stone. As soon as the horse figure stepped through, he swung its axe at Levi, but it was grabbed by Alina's hair.
Before the horse figure could do anything, a cannon was blasted its way, piercing its chest and ending its life.
Next from the portal were some hives of bats that soon, started rushing out.
"We need to close the portal, now!" the man from before shouted also now entangled in a serious fight with one of the bat beasts.
"I can't ...We need it open," Levi shouted back.
Mark on the other hand was looking at something on the floor. It was the horse beast from before. The beast was already, dead, but Mark was puzzled by the level of the beast.

'No way... These beasts, they are all out of this world, if the current earth was to start fighting things at this level now, then we are all some,' Mark thought. Yet, another thing that seems to amaze him was the cannon shooter.
There is no doubt in his mind that this weapon was not ordinary. He wondered how they would have been fending if Leo never has given them such a weapon.
Looking at the place Mark presumed was where Nate and the others were fighting, Mark silently prayed.
'I hope this end soon,'

It is nearly impossible for Nate to focus with the series of notifications popping up every second...
The level of beast he was seeing at the moment, exceeded all that the current earth has to offer.
'I am glad, I am not the one that will be going into that portal,' Nate thought.
However, it was then a particular notification appeared.
[The matrix spy bird has been dictated]
'Wait..!' as Nate was about to shuffle through the next notification.
It was then, Ozzie was slowly getting up.
"Fuck... The matrix... It best if I focus on this particular quest," Nate decided to ignore the notification for now.
Calling out to his chain daggers, he sent them all towards Ozzie's direction piercing his bones with all four daggers.

Just then, Nate could see the energy flow from the draining Ozzie's energy while adding it up to his.
