Chapter 355 - Ozzie whereabouts.

Finally, the long-awaited call has eventually arrived. Having waited for Lyon's report for some time now, it was a relief to them all when he finally linked up.

"What's going on, what's your condition over there?" this was Nate's first question the moment the telecommunication was linked.

Once again, Mark was able to connect the call through the system to the ship speaker, that way, everyone can now hear what Lyon was saying.

"Don't worry guy... Nothing has happened. At least for now, but I think he's up to something," Lyon explained trying his best to calm everyone down.

He was fully aware that Lynn of all people will be downcasted by what he did. No doubt, it was rash behaviour because he was completely unaware of what will happen after that.

"So this is the place?" Nate asked.

Lyons dot on the map has stopped moving, Nate could guess that either Lyon and the others are still on the way to the base, or they are already at the base.

"Am not sure of what it looks like but I am inside a cell for now," Lyon explained as he touched the wall with his hand.

"The walls are rough, perhaps, I am in a cage," Lyon replied. Now aware of this, just in case, Lyon was wondering how he was going to break free from such a place if anything strange was to happen.

Meanwhile, Nate on hearing this has done something. Nate summoned five undead birds and then attached the warmer device to their wings and then send them out.

"It will be best if you look out for caves," Lyon said.

"I am already on that... Now, what has happened so far?" Nate asked.

"I saw him... The psycho behind it all," Lyon answered.

Nate did not need much detail as he can already guess who Lyon was talking about.

'Ozzie!'

"What exactly did he want?" Nate asked.

For Ozzie to still keep Lyon alive only means one thing, he has plans on what to do with him.

"It was apparent, he wants me to join him on his psychopathic goal... Perhaps he needs my other ability for something," Lyon.

It was not a surprise to Nate and his horde that Ozzie might be aware of Lyon's power, after all, one of his men has fallen victim to the power.

However, what Nate didn't quite get is what Ozzie needs Lyon's powers for.

"I think it's obvious... I mean, he wants to change everyone into a zombie. Look it this way. Lyon can make turn an altered human into a normal human and altered humans quite have a great immunity to the zombie virus which makes the likely people to survive this epidemic. However, with Lyon's power, those trump cards will be useless as they can also now be affected by the virus," Mark explained his guess.

The truth is that everyone knows his guess was most likely the truth of the matter.

"Now what should we do... I mean, I know we will act now, should lyon comply for now?" twain asked.

Nate thought about it for a moment. He know that if Lyon was to resist, Ozzie might not hold back in doing awful things to him, with this thought, in mind, Nate have made up his mind.

"Play along for now, but do not show all you get, if I am correct, they only know that you have one altered form, do not show them anything else," Nate warned.

Nate was worried that if Ozzie was to figure out Lyon's full capacity, he might want to get rid of him after all that is what he will do when someone with great power was before him, especially one that he can't control.

With that, the meeting has ended with lyon haven being instructed on what to do. He was to report back everything that happens to him or anything he founds strange back to them.

Also, Nate and the rest have concluded the people that will be going to Ozzie's base have been selected.

Of course, Nate was not planning to launch a full-scale attack with only fewer people. Although he was strong, but he was not arrogant, at least not too arrogant to forget that numbers matters and they are people out there that can match up to him.

The reason he selected fewer people was that he was not planning to attack first.

From what they could see on the horde map, Ozzie's base was still on the winter island. It was a good thing but they have also noticed that it was quite far away from the Golgotha.

For a large force to suddenly start to head towards a particular direction, no doubt it won't go unnoticed by Ozzie and this might ruin their surprise attack for him.

That's why Nate believes that at least, he should conquer some parts of the area near the base. If he could do so, then a teleporter share be planted and this will make it easier for the force to move about.

Right now, they have returned to the Golgotha where Nate selected Mark and Bull to assist him. With the three of them, it was enough force to have anyways.

Peter was to stay back on the base in case anything was to happen while they were out.

It was a pity Sin was no longer with them. The latter has already left the ship in search of the matrix which is not bad because, after dealing with Ozzie, the matrix will be next in line.

The two undead birds have already reached the dot but there was no sign of any building or anything of that sort around the area. Nate with the horde eye skill was watching what was happening and was examining the area.

Mountains were surrounded everywhere, however, there was no sign of vitality around the area other than the trees.

With the three of them, passing the border gates was relatively easy for them. One thing Nate did notice though was the cars existing in the settlements at the same time. They were a lot of them. If it was a normal day, Nate might as well want to inquire what was happening, but at the main time, he was busy and had no time for the chit chart.

Just then, a notification appeared before Nate. 'It's a good thing I left him back there,'

---

Someone, in particular, was not happy though that he was left in charge of managing the base till Nate returns and that was none other than Peter.

He was standing at the gate of the Golgotha with his arms crossed while looking at where he last saw Nate with the two others.

'Am sick of this ...' he thought to himself. He was annoyed by the fact that Nate wouldn't take him along the journey. 'Not like they are babies anyway... Why must I be the one to stay behind?' just as Peter was thinking about this.

He could hear groans from the distance Nate and the other two went through.

"Who's there...!" he shouted.

It was then the things behind those groans showed themselves.

'Even after what happened last time, you guys still managed to return.' Peter thought it quite a surprise to see the whitebonez.

However, the Whitebonez unlike before were not alone this time, someone was leading them.

"You are the witch that took Lyon away!" Peter shouted pointing at Mandy who just appeared out of the shadows.

"It can't be a coincidence," Mandy concluded.
