Chereads / My Zombie Game / Chapter 356 - Not coincidence.

Chapter 356 - Not coincidence.

As if Nate knew something like this was meant to happen, he chose only two people to assist him while leaving the others behind.

"What are you doing here... How did you get here...!" Mandy shouted while stamping her staff on the floor. Raw energy busted out of her, but Peter was not affected by the action, instead, he was looking at Mandy and was trying to recall where he had seen such a person before.

"It is you..., you are the bitch," Peter said.

Immediately, he was out of mandy. Running towards Mandy, Peter readied his claws as he approached.

His speed was fast and Mandy might not be able to keep up with such speed. Unfortunately, she also got the whitebonez with her.

Although their speed was nowhere close to that of Peter, they still were able to run their body into him while trying to attack.

This of course has slowed Peter down greatly, and Mandy used this opportunity to cast an ice barrier before herself.

That was not all, she pressed her staff onto the wall and in no time, it lit up and disappeared.

Peter picked up on the whitebonez and swung him down at the tunnel wall. A loud bang was heard as some pieces of rocks fall off the wall.

The whitebonez was not dead yet, but Peter was not going to waste his time on that. He looked at Mandy.

"You kidnapped Lyon and now you are here with those zombies. What exactly is it that you want?" Peter asked while walking forward.

The whitebonez guarding Mandy quickly charged in. This time, it was about four of them. Their tentacles were spread out while it strikes at Peter.

Despite knowing that the tentacles won't do much to him, Peter still waves his hand with his claw chopping off the snake's head.

The first whitebonez that went in for a bite was grabbed on its jaw and was slammed on the ground. Doing this, Peter proceeded to crush the zombie's head and continue walking.

So far, he has killed only one of the whitebonez. The others were still recovering from their tentacles when Peter's claw stabbed into their chest and skull.

With all the whitebonez dropped dead, Peter sprinted towards Mandy and swung his fist. But it stopped a couple of inches away from her. His claws even stuck into whatever it is that was blocking his path.

"You... You are a monster... Ozzie has to know about you," Mandy said taking a step back.

"Or maybe, I can bring you back to him," Mandy thought.

Using another crystal energy on the five slots, a vortex started to form on Mandy's staff and she spin it. When she was certain enough that it was ready, she took steps back and hurled the vortex at Peter.

Bang...!

At the last moment, rather the pilling his claw out, Peter used his other hand to slice the stuck hand off and jumped off from the invisible barriers.

Regardless, the explosion was strong that some parts of the walls have caved in.

Peter picked himself up and dashed towards Mandy. One of his hands was missing yet he was able to move at a great speed that Mandy still couldn't keep up.

He throw out a kick at her stomach sending her back and then moved behind her just in time to deliver another kick at her spine breaking it.

The staff slip off Mandy's hand. Peter's arm by now have already recovered and he was about to finish her off.

However, it was them someone blocked his path and stopped him.

"Roby... What are you doing here?" Peter asked.

"That's enough of what she can take, besides, I believe we need her alive than dead," she said.

Although Peter was unwilling to comply, yet for some reason, he still found himself not doing anything. He now then looked around to see those that have arrived.

It was none other than the girls. Lynn, Levi and Alina. The girls have been hanging around each other more closely than before.

Lynn went on and pick up Mandy's staff. 'This is interesting,' she thought while placing it out.

"It will be best if we bring her in... For questioning," Roby said.

Alina's hair started to grow, they went on to wrap around Mandy's body and carried her back to the Golgotha.

Meanwhile, eventually, Nate and the rest have finally exited the settlement's last border into the mountains to look for Ozzie's base. The journey was peaceful with no encounter with any wild beast.

Regardless, it wasn't smooth either because the horde map was so accurate in direction. For one, the map won't inform Nate where there is a bad road or so, it was only due to the help of the undead bird that they have managed to escape a few road trap that though might not kill them but still will hinder their speed greatly.

And finally, after wandering off far away from the settlement on foot, they could see the mountains ahead of them.

"This is the place... We are already on the location, it seems like his base is underground like we expected," Nate said.

Even now, the map has already informed them that they are in someone else territory. This did make Nate wonder if he was to take out a chunk of the territory will Ozzie know?

'Unless he also has a system, I doubt he can tell something happened,' Nate thought.

Regardless, it's best to be safe than sorry. They moved a couple of meters away from the territory borderline. There, they were able to locate a tree which they climbed to build a tent. Normally, this tent was not built for them to sleep in, rather, it was just something for their teleporter room.

However, Nate was not going to start calling for his men. They still have something to observe with the bird and while doing so, with the undead bird, they have found something quite surprising.

On one of the mountains that neared quite close to each other, an arena has been built from the ground. Looking at it, they could tell that it was something built by someone who has an earth ability as the entire place was made out of the earth, even the seats were made from earth.

The arena was wide like that of a football stadium, and there is a lot of space down where the show will be displayed.

"What is it about there?" Nate asked but Bull and Mark also had no idea of what was happening.

"It will be best if we send out more birds to scout the place," Mark suggested and that was exactly what Nate did.

More birds were sent off while they all sit back and watch. It was at this moment they could spot something else. It was a line of vehicles approaching the arena.

"Something is happening over there and we have to check it out first before the strike," Nate concluded.
