Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 2.

QUINN'S POV:

"Quinn Andrews!" I cringed as the teacher looked at me. I walked into the class with my head held high nonetheless.

"This is our new transfer Student. Be nice and help her settle in." She announced. I glanced at the whole class who were watching me.

My golden blonde hair fell in waves around my shoulder stopping just before my butt and I was wearing a simple white T shirt, Black mini plaid shirt and White combat boots. I looked pretty normal if you ask me.

"Find a seat Ms. Andrews."

I moved towards a seat and sat down. Unfortunately Rissa wasn't in this class.

"Hey. It's you." I turned and was surprised to see Faith.

"Oh hey! Faith right?" She replied with a simple nod.

"Um, Uh I wanted to thank you for yesterday." She said and I smiled with a shrug.

"It's fine. Who were those guys and what do they want?" I asked. I had to know. I was too curious for my own good.

"Oh.... They work for my boss and they came to collect my due payments." She said and I stared in shock.

"Oh? Do they bother you often?" I asked in genuine concern.

She shook her head but I could feel she was lying.

"They don't. I'll pay but My Boss keeps sending them after people who owes him money." She explained and I scoffed.

"He sounds rude to me. Why would he do that? it's basically harassment. You're a girl if he doesn't seem to realize." I said and she smiled softly.

"He doesn't care. He's ruthless." She said and I frowned.

"Whatever he is doesn't give him the right to treat a woman like that." I countered and she laughed quietly.

"Well, That statement could easily be contradicted. He's a ladies man." I scrunched my nose in disgust. Gross.

"I would hate to meet him. I'd probably slap him before he could introduce himself." I said and she laughed.

"Quiet Nerd!"

I rolled my eyes. Typical. The class was finally over and I followed Faith out. Seeing as I didn't know my way around, it felt wiser to stick with someone who's familiar.

"So where did you transfer from?" Faith asked as we walked to our next class. "Well, I used to live in the UK but my father moved to America for business." I explained.

"That's amazing. I'm sure you feel somewhat like an alien here. It must have been hard leaving your friends back home." She said. I merely shrugged.

"Ehh. I'm fine. I adapt easily and I barely have friends back home. My only friend is Rissa." I said.

"Rissa Throne?!"

"Yeah. We're best friends. We both used to live in the UK but she moved here before I did." I said.

"Where do you work at?" I asked. She smiled shyly. "I work at Sterling."

Sterling is one of the world's most successful businesses ever. Their technology has literally helped lives. To be honest, I didn't expect Faith to be working in Sterling. At some point, My Dad had a business contract with them but it flopped because Sterling's owner didn't like his idea.

"Woah. Cool. What do you do there? How'd you even get a job there?" I asked. Sterling was known for hiring only those with experience to keep the business running perfectly.

"I'm a receptionist for My Boss's Office floor." That is one huge position. "Aren't you like 17? I'm quite surprised they gave you a job." I voiced my thoughts.

"Oh look! There's our next class."

I smirked. Way to avoid the conversation Faith. Good one.

**********

"Ma, You have to calm down." I said and she glared at me. "I am calm Quinn. Why would your father do this?!" I was so confused.

"What's happening?" I asked. She sighed.

"Nothing. You're free to go over to Rissa's. I'm going out today." She said and I just stared at her. Just allowing me to go freely felt fishy. Deciding to be a good girl, I went up to my room to change. I sent Rissa a quick text, letting her know I'm on my way.

I got back down to the living room and was surprised to see guests. My father James Andrews, sat among them as they discussed.

Two men were seated opposite my parents. The elder of them had Dark hair and green eyes while the younger guy had Bronze hair and Silver grey eyes. He was breathtakingly handsome and I almost forgot where I was.

My Father spotted my frozen self and smiled.

"Ahh, There's my daughter. Benjamin, Xavier meet Quinn." He said coming over and leading me to them.

I smiled and waved. Benjamin returned my smile while Xavier acted like I didn't exist.

He just lost his spot in my Top Ten handsome guys I've met. Too bad he was currently number One.

"Shall I bring you anything to eat?" Mum asked and Both men declined. "We're fine Elena. Thank you."Benjamin spoke.

Xavier had his eyes on either his phone or his ridiculously expensive Rolex watch. I took to watching him like a hawk. My mother had retreated to the kitchen leaving me to deal with a bunch of massive male energy.

Growing tired of just sitting there and looking pretty, I stood up.

"Dad? I'm going over to Rissa's." I said to him and he smiled.

"Alright Sunshine. Be back early. We have some things to discuss." He said. I gave a nod and kisses his cheek before leaving.

I caught Xavier watching me and I rolled my eyes. Was he just noticing me when I was about to leave?

I headed straight for my car and stop when I heard a voice.

"Nice car."

Xavier stood with his hands in his pockets as he stared at my car.

"Uh Thanks." I said sounding unsure. I didn't know what he wants. Why was he even out here?

The air seemed so awkward so I slipped into my car and turned on the engine. "Are you just gonna stand there?! I don't want to run you over!" I yelled and he just smirked and stepped back still watching. I rolled my eyes and drove off.

Total Weirdo.
