It was around 2pm the next day. Alexis sat on her bed trying so hard to get her phone to work. It was really broken.
She had only slept for about four hours and Candace hadn't come back to the room since she left earlier around 2am.
Alexis had been on her phone for about two hours and it felt like she was getting no where. She was getting really frustrated and she was growing a lot of hatred for Emanie. Things just kept getting worse for her. Apart from what Emanie did, she was also really scared about the fact that Candace threatened to tell everyone.
Maybe she should have just gone to Stanford. Yeah, at that point, she would have preferred dealing with LeAnne everyday to everything that was going on at the moment. Like, how bad could it be. She would have eventually gotten used to it.
"Work!" She yelled at her phone banging on it and surprisingly, it finally turned on. "Geez, finally" she sighed.
Sincerely, it would have been better if the phone never came on.
The screen was so broken, it was hard to see anything.
Then a message came in. It was from Adam. Alexis was really surprised cuz she hadn't heard from Adam since what happened at Lilly's.
She opened the message and it read:
Less than two months in college and you've already slept with the school's fuckboy. LOL. I'd love to see how your bodyguards deal with this news blast.
She absolutely froze. She read the message over and over again hoping she read it wrongly and the words would just change again.
News blast!!??? What!!???? How!!!???? When!!????.
That was when she realized. Candace. She said she would do it and she did. But when she said everyone was gonna find out, Alexis thought she meant the gang but for Adam to know, obviously so many other people knew too.
'how could Candace do such a thing!?' she thought. Her life was over. Noah was going to murder her. And Amarr? Oh God.
But did it sound like something Candace would do tho??. Alexis didn't care, she already convinced herself.
"Shit shit shit shit" she muttered and she screamed into her pillow. "No!" She yelled and she started crying again.
She had been crying a lot lately she was beginning to realize Candace was right. She really did need all those tissues.
Just then, she heard the door open.
"Alexis..." Candace was saying and Alexis sharply raised her head.
Candace was still wearing her oversized cardigan and she had a cup of coffee in her hand. You could tell from her face that she was in a terrible mood.
"You" she growled getting up from her bed, Candace raised one eyebrow in confusion and Alexis stepped closer to her. "How could you!?" She yelled at her.
"How could I what?" She questioned.
"Don't act stupid" Alexis replied and Candace drew her head backwards. "Someone already texted me, you told everyone about what happened!"
"Excuse me?" Candace questioned. "You think I told everybody about what happened between you and Emanie?" She asked. "wow you're even dumber than I thought" she added.
"You bitch!" Alexis yelled at her snatching her cup of coffee. Then she threw the coffee back at her, ruining her cardigan.
Without hesitation, Candace grabbed her and slammed her against the wall. Before Alexis could even fight back, Candace threw a punch at her and she fell to the ground.
Her nose immediately began to bleed and she winced in pains. It was a very bad idea to try to pick a fight with Candace who had been locking up her anger.
Candace sighed and slipped out her phone to call Dianne.
"I killed her" she said immediately Dianne picked up.
"What!?" Dianne yelled over the phone.
"Just get down here" she replied. "Please" he added and she ended the call.
She slipped her phone back into her pocket and stretched her hand down to Alexis to help pull her up.
"Fuck off" Alexis said slapping her hand. Her nose was still hurting.
"Alexis, for once I'm trying to be nice so can you not be a bitch" Candace replied.
"Can I not be a bitch?" Alexis questioned, getting up from the floor. "You told everybody my secret and then punched me in the face!" She yelled.
"I didn't tell anybody anything!" Candace yelled back. "Why would you even think that?" She asked.
"Cuz you said everybody was gonna know" Alexis replied.
"Because that's just what Emanie does!" Candace yelled back.
Alexis' heart sank. Emanie?.
Then the door flung open and Dianne stepped in.
"Lex are you ok?" She asked immediately.
"Yeah" She replied softly.
"The fuck did you do?" Dianne asked Candace.
"Oh jeez" Candace rolled her eyes and walked towards the table by her bed to pick up a tissue.
She handed it to Alexis and she wiped her bloody nose.
"Alexis thinks I told everyone she fucked Emanie" Candace told Dianne.
Dianne sighed and dipped her hand in her back pocket to slip out her phone. She scrolled through for a while and then turned her phone to Alexis.
It was the worst she could ever imagine. It was a picture of her lying on Emanie's bed with Emanie over her. Actually, you couldn't see Emanie's face but you could tell it was him by the hair. It wasn't a full picture so you could only see Alexis' chest upwards. Her eyes were closed and her lips were slightly parted.
Yeah, two months in college and that already happened.
Hot tears streamed down Alexis' cheeks. She couldn't believe her eyes.
"Emanie posted this ten minutes ago" Dianne told her.
"Oh my God" Alexis muttered and she turned to walk towards her bed.
Her entire life was crashing down and it was all her fault.
She sat on her bed and buried her head in her laps.
She cried uncontrollably.
'how could this happen!?'
"Alexis" Dianne called walking towards her with Candace.
She crouched down beside her and patted her back.
"I know this is bad" Dianne began. "Like really bad but trust me, I'll always be here" she added.
"Yeah" Candace began. "And soon the whole thing will die down" she continued. "Soon everybody's gonna find something else to talk about" she added.
"So you forgive me?" Alexis questioned, raising her head to face Dianne.
"No, we're still gonna talk about that" Dianne replied sharply. "But you don't expect me to just leave you with all that's going on" she added.
"And you're not the first person this is going to happen to" Candace began turning her phone to Alexis to show her a video of a girl drinking something at Emanie's house. "Cavalero posts videos like this right before, well you know what." She explained. "That's Kimberly, she transferred schools after what Emanie did to her" she told her and then scrolled up a bit to show her another video. "That's Kate" she said.
"Kate?" Alexis questioned.
"Yeah, that Kate" Dianne replied.
"And this..." Candace began again, scrolling and then turning the phone back to Alexis. "Is me" she added.
Then there was a dead silence. Dianne and Candace stared at Alexis and Alexis was in absolute shock.
"What?" Alexis questioned.
"Yeah" Candace replied slipping her phone back into her pocket. "Life could be really shitty" she added.
"But why does he do this?" Alexis asked.
"Emanie is just sick and immature" Dianne began. "he does it for revenge" he added.
"Yeah, I don't know about Kimberly and Kate but Emanie got into a fight with my boyfriend" Candace told her. "my boyfriend beat him up real bad and Emanie just wasn't ready to let that go so he got his revenge" she explained. "Then my boyfriend broke up with me without even bothering to hear my side of the story" she continued. "He's the guy in the picture I threw in the trashcan but somehow found under your pillow. I hate him so much" she added and a tear drop fell from her eye.
"Your boyfriend broke Emanie's arm?" Alexis questioned.
"No" Dianne replied. "But Amarr did" she continued. "Which is why he went after you" she added.
It all made sense to her now.
"There's another reason" Candace began. "But I don't want to talk about it" she continued. "You'll find out".
"I am so stupid." Alexis began crying again. "I should have listened" she continued. "I..." She was saying but she got interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in" Candace called out and the door immediately flung open and Noah stepped in.
Alexis' heart began to pound. Noah looked at Dianne then at Candace and then he glared at Alexis.
"Noah?" Dianne questioned.
"Alexis" Noah called, ignoring Dianne.
Alexis stood up from her bed and began to walk towards Noah. She was literally shaking cuz she was really scared.
Immediately she got to him, he flung his hand at her face giving her a deafening slap. It was so loud, one would think Alexis would never recover from it.
"Noah!" Candace yelled running towards him to hold him back cuz he was going to hit her again.
"After all I said!" Noah yelled at Alexis. "You bitch!"
"Noah!" Candace yelled again.
Alexis couldn't hold back at her tears.
"You know what, I'm not even going to say too much" Noah began again. "Pack your bags, I'm calling mum and you're getting transferred" he added.
"She's not going anywhere" Candace told him.
"Candace please stay out of this" he replied.
"You're not even going to listen to her?" She questioned.
"What could she possibly have to say?" Noah shot back.
"What could she possibly have to say?" Candace questioned. "That's the exact same thing you thought when this happened to me wasn't it?" She asked. "you didn't listen to me and now you're not going to listen her" she added.
