In the dawn of time, A great war broke out between divine beings, gods from different generations fought for supreme power over the universe. The oldest gods were known as Titans, who were deities of great size and power, and they were ruled by the titan Kronos, Kronos ruled over the universe tyrannically ever since he castrated his father with his Glorius and mighty scythe and Usurped power from him and so same also, fortified on the heights of Mountain Olympus, the powerful Zeus and his brethren fought the tyranny of his brethren and in the Olympic forges, the cyclops created mighty artifacts that would aid the gods in their war against the Titans.
Zeus was gifted with his powerful thunderbolt which now serves a symbol for his power and Zeus himself. Poseidon received his glorious trident which now also is used to represent the god of the seas and finally Hades was given his helm of terror. The war between gods and titans became known as the Titanomachy and it lasted for 10 years where the deities fought fierce battles. Zeus then descended to the depths of Tartarus to meet with, negotiate and also free the mighty and Devastating Hecatoncheires-creatures with countless arms and several heads, these beings were brothers of the titans but even the titans themselves feared their power and that is why they kept them imprisoned in Tartarus.
Zeus broke the chains that bound the mighty creatures and so the Hecatoncheires pledged to fight alongside the gods and so with the help of the Hecatoncheires, the Olympians managed to tip the scales of the war in their favor and with the help of his brothers, Zeus managed to subdue Kronos and hence was able to bring the most powerful of Titans to their knees. The Vanquished army of Titans were condemned to Tartarus where they would serve a life sentence. As a thing of pride, Zeus showed everyone Kronos's legendary sickle and him having this clearly showed that he was the new ruler of the universe, but Zeus wished to put an end to the tyrannical reigns the world had been witnessing and so he called Hades and Poseidon for a meeting and Zeus shared some of his power with his 2 brothers.
Hades would be the ruler of the Underworld, the region where the spirits of men headed after death. Poseidon was handed the seas and the Oceans and from his Under-water palace, he would rule the sea-world. On the other hand, Zeus would reign over the heavens ruling the universe from his throne on Mount Olympus as the supreme god.
After the Major victory over the Titans, the gods built a glorious palace on the top of Mount Olympus, and it became the dwelling place of the gods. As time passed, new deities joined the original Olympians, each with their role in helping Zeus establish order in the world. However, deep within the earth a dreadful force of chaos was emerging, whose sole intent was to bring to an end the reign of the Olympian gods.
Gaia, the mother Earth was conceiving a creature of endless power that would be able to retaliate against the gods due to their decision to imprison her children the Titans in Tartarus. The earth opened up and a powerful scream could be heard from the depths of the Ocean, and it spread terror in the hearts of all the marine beings that witnessed such a scene. The huge beast started to destroy everything in its path and hence spread Chaos across the domains of Poseidon. The god of the seas witnessing his under-water temple being destroyed was overcome by an unbridled fury and so he attacked the creature. Poseidon measured forces with the beast, exchanging blows and attacks and then he realized just how powerful the opponent was.
Poseidon threw his trident with all his might, hitting the creature in the chest and pushing it meters away, the beast which was called Typhon had just been dealt a powerful strike that could even subdue the mightiest of Titans. The glorious god of the seas had the beast at his feet and proclaimed that, that was the fate of those who dared to oppose him. But much to Poseidon's surprise, the creature had not yet been defeated. The beast grabbed the trident that was stuck in its chest, pulled it out and then threw it back at the god who easily dodged it, but the monster's throw was only a diversion, a distraction from the real blow that would follow.
Poseidon with all his mightiness was grabbed by the monster and it used its tentacles to strangle Poseidon and he could not break free from its grasp. Typhon proceeded to slam the god several times on the ocean floor until he rendered him unconscious. Poseidon had been defeated, luckily, he was rescued by Delphin, his loyal dolphin who was able to take him away from the fight. From the heights of Olympus, the gods watched as the destruction extended into the world of men and so they decided that the beast would have to be stopped.
Apollo, Artemis and Ares grabbed their weapons and they set off to face the creature. The twin gods- Artemis and Apollo hit the destructive beast with their divine arrows and from the distraction caused by the attack from his siblings, Ares jumped on Typhons back and buried his spear into the beast. Typhon reached and grabbed Ares and then threw him violently against Artemis, the monster ripped out Ares's spear from its body and then threw it like a dart in the direction of the sun god Apollo and the spear pierced into his shoulder, with this the divine trio had been defeated and the monster then began to head for Mount Olympus.
Typhon, after ravaging through the domain of Poseidon in the ocean and ravaging through the real of men, now headed to Mount Olympus on his way to meet his fate and all he wanted was to bring all the gods to their knees.
