Chapter 4 - Get me out of here

After he had left, Kristen still stood there with her mouth open.

"Oh my God this is so bad. I was so disrespectful." She remembered all the rude things she said and did to him. She smacked his forehead and shoulder, called him a pervert and a weirdo.

She couldn't wrap her head around the situation. She started to make her way out of the airport.

The cool wind rushed over her, making her shiver.

She breathed in the summer air of the Island and it was fresh as it gets.

She took out her phone for GPS to locate the hotel she would be staying in. She looked at her phone for a while with a confused look.

"Why is this so complicated?" She complained. She looked at her phone for a few more minutes before she figured out the location

In the back of a fast moving black Bentley Mulsanne, The prince looked slightly annoyed.

"The King and Queen have already organized a ball for you to meet the daughter of The King of um... another country I don't remember." His assistant said to him.

"It's Michilandia." The prince yelled. "Achilles-" "Excuse you?" the prince was not pleased with the way his assistant addressed him. The assistant rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Prince Achilles." the assistant corrected. "Good."

"I had no control over the matter at all so don't be pissed at me ok."

"But I specifically told you to hold all organizations until I got back." Achilles said. "I tried to. Trust me I really did." "Zale I was gone for two day. Just two days and you couldn't even do a simple thing like I asked you to."

"No because you say it like I have all the power in the world and just won't use it. Nobody ever listens to me except for you and the guards. Occasionally your brother Myles. I'm just your assistant Achilles. I barely have any power and there was nothing I could do." At this point, Zale was fed up of Achilles dumping stuff on him.

"Alright. When is the ball?" Achilles asked.

"Tonight." "Tonight? What do you mean tonight?"

"I mean tonight. They're coming tonight so you're meeting Princess Harmonia with marriage in mind tonight." Zale kept enunciating the word tonight. Immediately those words came out of Zale's mouth, Achilles eyes opened wide in shocked.

"May the gods be damned if you just said marriage." Achilles uttered. "Then the gods are damned because that's what I just said."

"I'm not marrying Ares' daughter." Achilles said. "Oh for the gods' sake Achilles she's not Ares' daughter. She's King Azureus' daughter." Zale banged himself in the forehead.

"Well her name is Harmonia so what do you expect me to think?" Achilles asked.

"Ok lemme ask you this. Do people assume you're THE Achilles?" "Am I not?" "Surely you must be joking. You don't have more than half of Achilles' power. Next to THE Achilles, you're a baby."

"Oh I beg to differ. I have so much power you can't contain." Achilles humbly bragged.

"I can easily win against an army of humans." "You say an army of humans but what about someone you're on par with?" Zale chipped in. "Name one person in the entire Kingdom who could be on par with me." Achilles proudly said.

"Loukâs."

Achilles suddenly went quiet. He immediately turned away from Zale. Zale casually smiled and also looked away. He knew Achilles since he was 10 ( human age) and so he knew that Loukâs and Achilles hated each other and that he was the only one Achilles truly worried about. Even though they're twin brothers, they loathe each other so much that they would do unspeakable things to each other if they were left in a room together.

The trip back to the Palace was silent from then. As they reached the Palace, Achilles' expression turned grave. He remembered that his parents had sent a marriage proposal to another royal family without his consent. He angrily jumped out of the car and walked towards the entrance of the Palace.

The huge double doors opened as he approached it and he entered with a devilish look on his face. Servants and guards bowed as he walked past them.

"You're welcome back your Majesty." They all said.

He entered the throne room and saw his mom and dad. "Mom, dad, why did you do it?" He cut to the chase. "A pleasant greeting would've been nicer Achilles and what are you even talking about?" his father asked.

"You sent a marriage proposal to another royal family without my consent. You could've asked me at least. I would've said no but still." "You know it's for the kingdom's and your own good." His mother said. "I don't care. I don't wanna marry some random girl I know nothing of."

"She's no random girl son, she's the only daughter of King Azureus of Michilandia. The successor of his throne. If you marry her, you get more than any of us have ever gotten."

"Dad, read my lips. I don't wanna marry anyone I know nothing of. I don't want any of it." "Well you don't always get what you want. You're going to marry her and that's final." His father said with a stern voice.

"I'm not marrying her dad and THAT'S final." Achilles stormed of to his room.

"Achilles!!" His father yelled behind him but he didn't bother to respond. He just kept walking with his long black jacket flowing behind him gracefully.

Up in his room, Achilles had called Zale and was talking to him.

"Zale, you need to get me out of here without my parents knowing. Just until tomorrow." Achilles desperately said. "Are you insane?" Zale asked with a loud voice. Achilles cleared his throat and crossed his arms. "I'm sorry but are you? I can't sneak you out. Where are you gonna go?" "I don't know, your house." Achilles suggested. "I live here 99% of the time. My house is too far." Zale reasoned out. Achilles began to think. A few minutes went by. Suddenly he snapped his finger. "I got it. I could just go to a hotel."

"A hotel? That's the dumbest place you could hide." " Doesn't matter Zale. Get me out of here"

It would turn dark soon and he knew his parents would not allow him leave knowing full well that he does not want to get married.
