Emma's House
Emma opened her eyes as a delicious scent greeted her sense of smell. The woman's gumiho stretched her muscles for a moment before finally waking up from her sleeping position. She looked at where she was, in her room. No need to think about how she got on her bed, Emma put on a smile because Ian must have moved her when she fell asleep in the living room.
She got out of bed and walked out of the room. The delicious aroma was increasingly perceived by this sense of smell. Her footsteps led her into the kitchen as well as the dining room, where Ian was preparing breakfast on the table.
"You're not in college?" Emma asked to pause Ian's activity.
"I'm skipping, or maybe I'll drop out of college," replied Ian, who was busy setting the table afterwards.
Emma breathed softly. She looked at Ian. It seems that her son was reluctant to go to college because of what happened to the young man yesterday. She felt even more guilty for her reckless behavior. After this, she will try to believe whatever Ian says so that the child does not get into trouble, especially with the police.
"Why did you have to quit college? You're not wrong, are you?" Emma asked Ian to pause his desk-setting activities. The young man gave her a cold look. "But, why were you taken to the police station? Even though you didn't go there, when I came using your face, the CCTV didn't work, even though humans saw it working normally."
Ian chose not to answer the question. He continued to put the food on the table. He couldn't answer if Soo Young had a roommate who was the one who had reported himself as the last person along with Soo Young. If he says that, maybe Emma will find Jae Mi and kill the girl as well. He didn't want it to happen.
"Well, you don't have to answer," said Emma, giving up because she didn't get an answer from the boy.
"By the way." Ian opened up again after he had finished setting the table and sat down in Emma's front seat.
"What do you want to know?" Emma inquired, as if reading Ian's thoughts at the time.
"May I know your life story? From the beginning you came to this world?" Ian asked doubtfully.
"Suddenly? Why?" Emma asked curiously.
"I don't know. After hearing your story about Soo Chan, I was curious about the beginning of your story when I first came here," explained Ian. "But if you don't want to tell me---"
"I'll tell you," Emma cut the boy off.
The woman's gumiho confirmed her sitting position for a moment before starting her old story. "I came around the fifteenth century, it was around 1400; I forget exactly when."
"Why did you come to the human world? Is it because you want to enjoy the hearts of the girls?" Ian asked, which was answered with a shake of Emma's head.
"When I first came into this world, I didn't enjoy girls' hearts at all. After all, the gumiho prefers the human heart to the heart," explains Emma.
"Then, why do you suddenly like their heart? And what was your purpose in coming here?"
Emma let out a rough breath. His son asked too many questions rather than listening to his story. "Are you going to listen to my story or interrogate me?"
"Sorry, I was just curious."
"Your curiosity I will answer now. So just shut up and listen, okay?"
Ian nodded his head in agreement that he would shut up and listen to his mother's story.

Ian's Residence
The orange color had adorned the sky when Ian had just arrived in his neighborhood. He took slow steps up the stairs to his house on the roof; yes, he had lived in the roof house since starting college. Several times Emma asked him to move to a studio apartment, but he turned it down because it was already comfortable in the house he lived in at the time. In addition, the distance from home to campus is really quite close, which is why he is reluctant to leave his home for the time being. Maybe after he graduates college and gets a job, he'll move into an apartment.
His steps suddenly stopped when he was almost upstairs. He heard voices that sounded familiar to his ears. Curious as to who was on top, he resumed his steps.
"Ian!"
Ian stared in disbelief at the guests who came to his house at this time. His friends came; even Su Bin was there. What a surprise after what happened to him yesterday, when he was almost a suspect in the murder! He thought his friends would definitely not accompany him anymore after the incident, but apparently they came to visit.
"Where have you been? You don't usually skip class all day," said Yoo Ri, who sounded very worried.
"Why are you here?" Ian asked without intending to answer Yoo Ri's question earlier.
"Of course it's because I'm worrying about you, stupid!" Su Bin replied while embracing Ian's body. "You have no news at all, not even the chat in the group is read. That's why we're here to see if you're still alive."
Ian was very confused by the attitude of his friends. All of them acted as if nothing had ever happened to him, or were they pretending not to remember in order to make him feel comfortable? If that's true, this only makes it even more uncomfortable.
"Wait." Ian let go of Su Bin's embrace and stepped back away from his friends.
"What's up? Why did you stay away?" Min Hyung asked.
"You don't have to act like this," Ian said to his friends in confusion.
"What does that mean?" asked Seo Joon, who finally raised his voice.
"You should be grateful for having us worry about you," Yoo Ri added.
Ian shook his head. He felt himself nothing to worry about, let alone by those who were so good. "Don't you remember what happened yesterday?"
"Incident? What happened?"
Min Jee looks like he doesn't remember what happened yesterday, even though the girl was also there when the two detectives came to him. Ian felt that they were not pretending, but they did not remember what happened yesterday. How did this happen?
"What exactly is it? Why do you look so confused?" Min Hyung asked.
"No, forget it," Ian replied with a slight smile on his face. "You want to come in?"
"Of course. We've been waiting outside for an hour, just so you know," replied Su Bin, who looked excited after being offered to enter.

Meanwhile, in the sky world, Seungho sighed after seeing Ian's friends, who had forgotten about the incident that happened to Young Hwang yesterday. Not only his friends, but all the people who interact with Ian or see events related to Soo Young's death are all made to forget, precisely, their memories are all manipulated without forgetting the woman's death. He knocked on the pool with his stick and moved from there to return to his desk.
"Oh my God, you surprised me!" When Seungho discovered the presence of the Great God, he exclaimed.
"What did you see just now?" asked the god.
"Just Ian's activities with his friends," Seungho replied. "By the way, what's the reason you've come here? Why don't you send me to your room?"
"There's something I want to ask you, Seungho."
I don't know why Seungho's feelings turned bad after hearing the change in God's tone. It looks like they're going to have a pretty serious discussion.
